Another sunday.
Raining a little.
Have just over a month before I finish AUSLAN certificate II.
Am looking forward to the finish - but am also regretting it as most of my class is continuing on to certificate III.
And Ian is the best teacher in the world.
Profoundly deaf and able to teach newbies without an interpreter - minimal writing on the board as well!!!
Had our first saturday class yesterday - "Dealing with Conflict".
Two more saturdays to go.
Yuck.
Have actually accrued over 9 weeks worth of holidays!
So am taking 20 days from the end of this month.
All for myself.
No going to holidays or funerals.
I'll just be going to TAFE and maybe travelling as far as my train ticket will let me when I'm not at TAFE.
Was told I could travel as far as... Goulburn?
Must find out, Melinda lives down there.
What is it with people telling personal things to me???!!!
This week 2 of the girls I work with told me they had their period, and one of the blokes in my class told me he's gay and all the details.
Personal info should remain personal!
Aaaaagh.
Interestingly enough - we learned how to sign "period" not long ago.
Our teacher yesterday "Dealing with Conflict" (hearing and slightly annoying) told us about the RIDBC Auslan Tutor being available as a app in the Apple store for Iphone or Ipod... also can get for Ipad? - must have a look for one of those!
The only problem - $50.00!
I can afford it but... $50?
Would prefer if it was a little cheaper - say $30.
Oh well.
Btw - RIDBC - Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children.
And it does look quite helpful - even has sentences.
Takes 1-4 hours to download though...

She told me she was shocked to find me doing this and not reading manga/manhwa/comics etc.
Going now to do just that.
