Another DVD.
This one is the entire first series (including the pilot).
Made in 1971 (?).
The year I was born!
Obviously I caught up with this classic series (which showed on channel 2 or ABC) when they were re-runs in the 80's.
Black and white - with some scenes in colour!!! (Special feature had a list).
Subtitles!
Yeah! A must for people who are sorta deaf.
The best episodes... Sex, War and Horror.
Horror was best overall - Aunty Jack as a vampire.
"If you don't watch next weeks show I'll come round and bloody suck your blood out." Or something like that.
Note : Aunty Jack is a... rotund woman (played by a man) with a moustache and speaking with a deep voice. Hair in two pigtails - sticking out the side of the head, uh... wears a boxing glove on her right hand and a white (?) glove on her left.
Aunty Jack always said "If you don't watch next weeks show I'll come round to your house and rip your bloody arms off." - Well, maybe not exactly that, but it's something very similair.
Watching the War episode with Adam, bloke writting to his girlfriend blah blah blah - and Adam exclaimed : "Boobies! I saw boobies!"
Me : What?!
I had to rewind (?) a little to see a painting of a nude.
Dirty little bugger!
Saw The producers (film) yesterday with Bigbird... hereafter known as BB.
We argued over what to see - I wanted to see Harry Potter 4, she wanted to see The producers, Brokeback mountain, Keeping Mum... We compromised by seeing The producers.
I understood it more seeing the film and the play... musical... uh, whatever.
As it was "Australia day" yesterday, we had Brooke stay over for tea - salad as it was bloody hot.
Jozilla and Darth Vader stayed at home as they had just gotten back the day before from a short holiday down the coast.
Think they went to Ulladulla and other places.
Anyway...
Brooke started talking about Boo.
I got a bit upset and found myself threatening to thump her in the arm if she didn't stop talking about her.
I could hear myself getting louder and louder.
Little voice going stop it, you're scaring her.
I think that was my common sense kicking in trying to stop an explosion.
Egads.
I had been having a few good days in a row too.
Only a few... I dunno what to call 'em.
Panic attacks?
Depression??
Bawling my eyes out???
Enough of that.
Am going to have a good day.
Got Soap series 1 & 2.

Benson is the best character.
Scrubs series 2.
Now I can say to Penny that I've caught up with her.
Two Jackie Chan movies that I've been meaning to get.
No, not Drunken master 2, Twin dragons or City hunter (am happy that I've got the videos at the mo).
Young master and Armour of God 1.
I got a bit confused and thought that Young master was Fearless hyena 1.
(Fearless hyena 2 is a bad movie... although I would get it to see in the original language...)
There's a fight scene (in Fearless hyena 1) where J C dresses up as a chick and I thought it was hilarious!
But was pleased to get them as they are in the original language, and the Chinese version - unedited.
Which leads me to say that Young master has some of the longest fight scenes that I have ever seen in a J C movie.
Brooke and I sat picking out all the wirework shots - some of which are so obvious it's unbelievably stupid.
But I think Brooke liked the skirt fight scene - with the girl and then later with J C.
Armour of God 1.
Got up to the bit where J C is fighting those women - tall ones with high heels (towards the end of the movie) and she said "They look like men".
Oh, yeah.
One thing that annoyed me is that they had to redub both movies (due to being uncut Chinese versions... had to watch in English as Brooke can't keep up with the subtitles) and all the classic lines and the voices that I loved have now been replaced.
Ugh.
Holy moly!
Look how much I've crapped on.
More crap...
Someone brought their grandchild in.
I had to get away from all the happy people in the staff room.
All having an ogle and coo at the baby.
Nicole got to feed the baby.
She asked "Do you want one of these?"
Me : "No. I just want want one baby."
Her : "Huh... Oh."
I had to stay out the front or I was going to throw up on everyone. So much for a good day eh?

So what did I do when the baby was taken away by it's grandmother?
I had my break and sat eating ginger kisses till I really felt sick.
Excuse me while I go back to work to stop myself eating... as I really will be sick if I keep this up.
