Third in the Agaton Sax series by Nils Olof Franzen.
Amusing.
Our hero Agaton is once again on the trail of villains.
This time it's the Max brothers.
Master criminals, illusionists etc.
Illustrated (yet again) by Quentin Blake.
Here's a story about the Agaton Sax books.
Here at work, we had all but three.
Then a new Children's librarian started.
Now we have none.
She went and deleted so many books it was horrible.
I came in a couple of days after the books had been murdered and the shelves in the junior were almost empty.
That's how bad it was.
Almost all the classics went.
Rescued some, but couldn't get all as they had gone on the for sale table.
The borrowers bought them as soon as they were put there.
There.
My rant for the day.
Am feeling a bit better about next Friday.
Don't have to work with you know who.
Yeah!
Gotta face facts that I'll have to sometime though.
So, we've got a new person starting.
Mitchell.
One bloke leaves, and another starts.
Poor Michael is lamenting the fact that Warwick is leaving (last day Sunday) as he was happy that we've finally got a new "man".
Something like that.
Oh, yeah.
Dunno if I mentioned this, but James (casual) left to work in the television industry (is that what it's called?).
So really, we're down a bloke.
Oh well.
Haven't seen Shaun (?spelling?) in ages.
He's been around.
He's also upset that Warwick is going.
Am starting to dream again.
Well, that would be as I'm sleeping a bit better.
Matthew.
Yes Matthew invaded my sleep the other night.
Just talked about the emails that he hasn't replied to.
And catching up on gossip from work.
I think he's still overseas doing aid work.
Still haven't had a dream about Boo.
sad
