I saw Vamps tonight and I have got to share that with the world! All you poor kittens unlucky enough not have been have NO IDEA what you missed!
I am a concert junkie, and it has been quite some time since I've left a show soaking wet from rocking out, but VAMPS put on a show that just knocked it out the ballpark! biggrin biggrin biggrin
Sorry to all the snide detractors who think that it was just a bunch of screaming fangirls. Yeah, they were there, but the audience was varied--metal dudes headbanging next to sweet lolitas. The crowd was awesome and full of energy. That's something because I've noticed that L.A. audiences tend to have this "cooler than you" poser type thing going on. That's not rock. Rock is about getting wild and crazy and dancing and singing and fists pumping and getting high on the adrenaline. That's what tonight was like.
Hyde-sama...pictures DO NOT do this man justice. If he's 40, he looks freaking GOOD (then again so do I lol )) Not only that, but he's absolutely relentless live! His heart is in every show and he's got to be exhausted but you'd never know it! The entire band smoked! I love KAZ and Ju-Ken is a such an entertainer!
They did songs from the Vamps CD, of course, but also stuff from Faith. I was hoping he'd do Prayer and Cape of Storms just because I'm a sucker for ballads. I bought a hot pink VAMPS t-shirt and will wear it with pride!
Anyhoo, sex with Hyde...lol. That tongue of his should be declared a lethal weapon!
The next band that needs to get over here is Dio Distraught Overlord!!! I am Mikaru's love slave...
