Was going to update more during the weekend at AnimeNext...and the day I got back and the like, buuuut I was a little tired. As for the week up until now, I've been kinda side tracked with a few things (school and a little gaming). Not to mention a great piece of news, but I'll get to that in a moment.

Saturday at AN was...well, kinda eh. Went to the Yu-Gi-Oh! tournament, and they had it set up in such a messed up way. Messed up in the sense that it was a way I've never seen it done, not highly organized, and took longer than the normal way we have it organized. They had it set up so it wouldn't take up a lot of time...yet it did just the opposite. Yeah, makes no sense. "Flights" of 16 people, single elimination, and a total of 7 flights (was 8, but it took so long they cancelled the last one). Good thing was that if you failed one flight, you can sign up for another if you didn’t already qualify for the Top 16. I almost made it twice (I played a good game, so I'm alright with it in the end...and I made some good trades). Russ got into the top 4, so all's well I'd say.

What really sucked that day was because we were at the YGO event for most of the day, I couldn’t' get into the Super Smash Bros. Brawl event...and even if I tried, I still couldn't have participated. It seems they stopped accepting participants at around 32 people......yeah, that made sense. Highly popular competitive game with thousands of people at the convention and you think about 32 people will want to play. Do some math homework next time, please? Hung out with Draco afterwards, who came up that day to par take in the Brawl event, so a good end to the day.

Thankfully, Sunday was a pleasant ending to the weekend. Took care of the rest of my purchases, which were in the Artist Alley. Got a ton of pins (don't know why, but I like pins ^_^) and great poster of Felicia from Darkstalkers (first catgirl I ever saw, lol). Saw Russ in the Pokémon vs Digimon soccer game, him cosplaying as an Eevee. Digimon won sadly, though it was a good game and everyone showed good sportsmanship. Met with Matt and the others again, took a photo with them, then we headed back home. To end the day, got some pizza and watched Ocean's 12.

Good weekend overall. I felt relaxed over all, so I'm happy ^_^

Now for the good news I mentioned. As it turns out, right before I head to class Monday, I get a call from Staples (whom I filled out an application right before the weekend) and they want an interview with me (it taking place tomorrow at 2:30 pm). From the sound of things, long as the interview goes well, I shall have a job in a few days!

Other things are looking up as well, like my fan fictions "Union League" and "Crimson Twilight" getting some good reviews on the other sites I've posted them up on. Should also have an illustration made soon (FINALLY) of Twilight (aka Murdoc, my alias) from Crimson Twilight. Been wanting to see him drawn out, for I can picture him pretty well in my mind, but I'd like to actually see him and show him to others.

Well, that be all from me for now. Going to get to work on the next chapters of my fan fictions and enjoy the weekend. Later!
