Anything and everything, won't be daily, could be a load of rubbish...
Wednesday - The donor
American Frank M. Robinson.
A borrower is responsible for my reading this.
Hmmm.
It's a little predictable - at least I've worked it all out etc.
Good, reminds me a tad of Robin Cook.
Although I've only read one Robin Cook... many years ago.
Young bloke finds out that he has been "harvested" twice of organs - piece of liver and a kidney, and now is on the run at the same time as try to work out who is responsible.
At least he knows part of it, but he's got to piece together the rest. The other part of the story is the son of the organ recipient.
He's trying to work out why his b*****d of a Father is getting well after two almost fatal illnesses.
I am pretty sure they are destined to meet - and revelations will occur.
Blah blah blah.
It's an okay read.
Not to dumb, and at the same time interesting.

Dennis Heller wakes up in a small private hospital after a minor car accident to discover that one of his organs is missing. Worse yet, he soon learns that this is the second organ to be harvested from him.
Now Dennis must run for his life. Clearly, someone, somewhere, is a close match for him--and is powerful enough to steal Dennis's organs for transplant purposes. The next time, Dennis might lose his heart or lungs. He won't wake up after that . . .
Rivaling the best work of Robin Cook and Michael Crichton, The Donor drags the frightening reality of modern-day organ theft into the cold light of day.

Was feeling pretty crappy on Monday so I called in sick.
Spent the day sweating in bed being attacked by Boo.
Three days of just sleeping, or trying to sleep.
Ugh.
Last night I felt well enough to have a long shower.
Boy that felt good.
Another hot day.
Supposed to be more storms tonight.
Sin city...
Liked most of it.
Remember ages ago, someone gave me a pirated DVD copy?
Well, I liked certain parts better in French (even if it was strange).
Melody bought War of the worlds.
It was... okay.
Could have been better.
Watched about half an hour of Barry Lyndon.
Had to turn it off - too many interruptions.
Mainly from Adam.
A clockwork orange came yesterday as well.
Had just enough time to watch the prison part that I couldn't watch on the library copy.
I got a message from Germ the other day.
I can proudly say I did not understand what he was raving on about.
Bigbird told me it was a joke about that poor (stupid) Aussie boy who was hung in Bali over drug smuggling.
How the hell can someone make a joke about the death of another human, nay, living being???
I'm beginning to think that I don't know my younger brother anymore...
That saddens me.
Also makes me want to go over and smack him on the head!
Or kick up the bum.
Whatever.
Next time I see him, I'll tell him it was bad taste and not to send any crude "jokes" to me again.
Listen to me, I sound like an... I dunno, old foggie or something.
Stopping now before I start bitching about something else.
