Haven't started it, so I can't comment.
Looks good though.
Finished The battle of Pook island.
Satisfying if sad to say goodbye to the Seddon street gang.
Finished The killing.
Am wanting the next book already... although I have to wait almost a whole year.
The next one is called Divine-madness.
Our hero James is sent out to Australia to infiltrate an extreme environmental group.
From what I read James is in danger of getting brainwashed.
So what did I think about The killing?
Muchamore sticks to a pretty realistic way of how children and teenagers act - even if they (some) do so in extreme ways.
eg. When the Cherub kids go off on to some place for holidays, a couple of the boys smashed a jetski by driving it into rocks deliberatly.
Or James (in Maximum security) deciding to try out his (non-existant) race car driving skills and almost killing himself and his passenger... which I think may have been his younger sister.
Yah, good fiction.
But it annoys me that the kids would think "I'll do this!" and not think of the consequences.
Eh, whatever.
A clockwork orange.
Interesting.
The disc must be scratched up though as it froze up 4 or 5 times.
So I ended up missing out on some of the story.
Am tempted to go searching for a copy of my own.
Also want to read the book... I wanted to read it a few years ago, but never got round to doing it.
Part of that was Melinda telling me that it wasn't all that good.
At least I think it was Melinda.
Trying to get Boo to use a litter tray...
Put kitten in tray.
Kitten starts eating litter (is clean at least).
I freak out.
Grab Boo, stick finger into mouth & clean out.
Ring Jozilla.
Jozilla says "Feed her first."
Feed Boo.
Put Boo into litter tray.
She starts eating...
At least she didn't try to eat it today.
But she hasn't used it.
Why????
