What I expected.
I was working at walmart last night, and at around 11:30 there it was... people were trying to form a gathering around the twilight department by 15 to 12 it was a full blown waiting line
it streched from the middle of the store (walmart super center, big store), to the dely which is on one end of the store, and it curled around a bit at the end with a line across the wall, it was not a single file line either, most of it was an average of 5 people wide there were hundreds of them
all of them waiting for twilight
and over 90% were giddy little teenage girls. biggrin
that made my night
i got to be one of the associates guarding the cart from the possible malicious raid, we had to bring our twilight carts all the way from the back of the store to the front without getting pounced, some associates said it was only matched by when starwars came out (i am guessing they were talking about the newer starwars) (others compared it more to The Titanic) we had a few people eyeing our stuff and a few requests, but no malicious endeavors earlier I was asked by a group of girls what the likely hood of me getting them a special addition vid would be if they bribed me, I told them "Zero to none." now that I think back on it, I should have taken the bribe dam my impulse to do the ethical thing
anyways, so when we finally got the carts out and set up everyone was so lit up an happy we had to bring our tallest member out as a bouncer just to make sure things did not get out of hand we ran out of special edition multiple times, but they just seemed to keep reappearing we did finally run out of them, only a hundred or so people in one cart of them was brought in a very inconspicuous unlabeled box, nobody even noticed. rolleyes
so, yah it was a fun night I like working at wallmart it is the little things
