I don't like gravity. It doesn't like me either. During cross country practice yesterday, I tripped over a tree root and then gravity caught me and carried me into the ground, which proceeded beat the crap out of me. Gravity has been totally kicking my butt this year.

After that, I had to get home really quickly, clean off some of the blood, put on massive amounts of bandaids, and get back to school as quickly as possible so the band could play at the football game. We had to get there really early because the local middle school was coming over to play with us for the sole purpose of getting encouragement to join high school band.

There was another French horn player. It wasn't my minion/apprentice, though. She decided not to come. But we did have a really good time torturing my section leader though. He doesn't know me very well, considering that there are two different band classes for people with schedule conflicts, and this was the first time either of us had met our incoming middle-school-er. As a result, he couldn't tell whether we were serious or just messing with his head the entire football game. It was hilarious, as he was so confused and didn't know how to react the entire time.

I think we're going to have fun next year. One normal-ish section leader and three insane girls that enjoy mocking him. Yes, we will have much fun.... twisted
