She sits on her front porch
And she stares up at the midnight sky
Of everything that she could be thinking of
She thinking of him, and doesn't know why
She’s doesn't understand these feelings
Or the aching of her broken heart
She’s trying to put together all the pieces
And more importantly, trying not to fall apart
As tears cloud her eyes
And make-up smears her pretty face
She decides to do something
She wants to get out of this place
She doesn't know where she's going
And she really doesn't care
She runs inside and fills a bag
She’s leaving now; she just wants to get there
She drives all night long
To get way out of town
She stops at an open field
And suddenly turns around
There’s a knock at the door
And he opens the door and sees
"I drove all night to get away," she explains a she steps into his arms
"And I came back, because that's exactly where I want to be"
