In The Cold Of The Sun
This is the newest story I've been thinking of! Hope ya guys like it!

Lyrea, or better known in Saggitarius's gang, Coldsun, walked back to the small village her master Saggitarius controlled. "He'll be so proud of me once he learns how that stupid ogre stood no chance against me!" She smiled to herself. The Black Feathers, waht Saggitarius called his little henchmen, carried out his every command. If a miller refused to give Saggitarius his pretty little daughter, then the Black Feathers were sent to threaten the miller into handing over his daughter. Lyrea was the newest and only girl Black Feather. SHe was quite proud of that. She walked back into the village in which Saggitarius inhabited. She saw a few other Blak Feathers standing around, looking quite bored. She barely glanced at them as she passed. "Well! If it isn't Hanrak's little apprentice, Coldsun!" Lyrea cringed at the achingly familiar vioce. She turned to face Scarrface. "Hello, Scarrface. Get scratched by any cats lately?" Scarrface sneered at her. "Finish your mission already? That was quite fast for a girl." Lyrea was ready to slice a few more scars onto his face when her trainer, Hanrak, came up behind her. "Ah, Lyrea, there you are. I see you've finished your mission. Go and report to Saggitarius. And Scarrface, if you taunt my apprentice again, I won't hesitate to let her carve more scars onto your face."
Lyrea sneered at Scarrface and made cutting motion with her sword. She giggled a little and headed off to the large church/tower that Saggitarius was usually in. It always scared her going in there, but she was good at hiding her fear. As she entered, the dark glow of candles came into veiw. Saggitarius was obssessed with candles and the color dark blue. As she walked up to where the church altar had been replaced with a lounging area for the master of the Black Feathers, she paused briefly to glance up at the large stone statue of the great Saggitarius. The creater was obviously very good at his trade. He even got the master's dark, dark blue eyes perfectly. She continued on to the altar. Saggitarius was sitting in the large kinglike throne chair, listening to a report from a scrawny looking man. "Well, tonight place a dead crow outside his daughter's window as a final warning." The scrawny looking man nodded and passed Lyrea on his way out. He glared at her on his way. Many of the men here didn't like the idea of a girl being a Black Feather. Lyrea ignored the glare and stopped at the altar stairs. Her master looked at her with his dark, cold eyes. "Ah, Lyrea. Or better as the rest call you, Coldsun. What do you have to report to me?""I've killed the ogre like you asked. He refused to teach me how to tame water, so, like you said to, I killed him. He didn't put up a very good fight." Lyrea hid the large bruise forming on her side where the ogre had hit her with his club. Saggitarius sat there, seemingly lost in thought. After what seemed like ages, he finally spoke. "Very good,Lyrea. Go and see Tyeisa and get something for your wounds." Lyrea looked at him quizzically for a moment, trying to figure out how he knew about her wounds. Then she walked off to the kitchen to see Tyeisa. Everyone called her Flamingo, because of her crazy hot-pink hair, but Lyrea liked her hair and never called her that. As she walked into the kitchen, Tyeisa was just scolding a maidservant. "How many times do I have to tell you, Kirae? You have to be careful with hot water! You could've seriously burned yourself!" The young looking maidservant, Kirae, was sobbing. "I-I'm sorry, Tyeisa." Tyeisa's eyes softened.color"Its ok, Kirae. There wasn't any harm done this time. Just be more careful next time, ok?" Kirae nodded and walked back to where a large pot layed on the floor. Lyrea walked up to Tyeisa carefully. "Hi Tyeisa." Tyeisa turned around to face Lyrea, smiling happily. "Well! If it isn't our own little Black Feather! How are you, dear? Finish your mission already?" Lyrea smiled at all the familiar friendly faces of the kitchen. She had been a maidservant for a while before Saggitarius discovered her skills in swordfighting and made her a Black Feather."Yeah, but the stupid ogre did some damage on my ribs. Do you have anything that could get rid of the pain?"[ Tyeisa looked over Lyrea's wounds carefully, the turned to a heavyset maidservant. "Mary, go out to the garden and get me some poppyseeds and rosemary." Mary nodded and cast Lyrea a friendly smile. She went out the kitchen door that lead to the garden. A few moments later, Mary returned with a bunch of poppy seeds and a fewsprigs of rosemary. "Thank you, Mary." Tyeisa said and began making a special tea that got rid of pain. "Here you go. Drink this and you'll feel much better after a while." Lyrea nodded and drank the tea. "Ok, Tyeisa, thank you for the tea. Now I have to go and find Hanrak and see what Saggitarius has planned for tonight." "Ok, but promise me you'll be more careful from now one. Ogres are very dangerous creatures." Lyrea nodded and smiled. "Of course." SHe walked out of the kitchen and toward one of the many alleyways. She heard hushed voices and peaked around a corner to see Hanrak and a guy named Red talking. Hanrak saw her and beckoned her over to them. "Whats going on?" She asked. Red smirked at her. "We just found a kid and he says he wants to join us." Lyrea rolled her eyes. "Oh goody, another idiot." Hanrak gave her a warning glance, but Red ignored the comment. Hanrak sighed and said,"Come on guys. We'd better go and see what Saggitarius has decided to do with the boy." He lead them to the church/tower again. Almost all of the Black Feathers were gathered inside. Lyrea, Red, and Hanrak sat down beside the others on the altar steps. A few moments later, Scarrface and another Black Feather, Jinfro, ushered in a very handsome young boy. He looked to be about 16 or 17, around the age Lyrea was. His raven-black hair kept falling into his face and when he brushed it out of his eyes, Lyrea could see his magnificent, emerald green eyes. Lyrea was speechless as he was ushered toward Saggitarius. Hanrak looked at her and smirked. "Lyrea, staring at him won't make him look at you." Lyrea shook her head and glared mockingly at Hanrak. "Who said I liked him?" A few others snickered. Red said," You should have seen your face when he walked in! I thought you were going to faint! Lyrea, admit it, you like him!" "I do not!" Red was about to respond, but Saggitarius interrupted. "Now, what shall we do with you....what is your name?" The bo straightened up and tried not to shake with fear. "My name is Luke." Saggitarius grinned and nodded. "ALrighty Luke. Lets see what the others have to say about you being one of the Black Feathers." He pointed to Hanrak. Hanrak stood up and walked over to Luke. He looked him over and glanced at Saggitarius. "He seems very fit and strong. But we should test his fighting skills?" Saggitarius grinned wider nd more deviously. "A very good idea,Hanrak! I think he should I have a mock battle with....Lyrea. She needs to prove she's ready for anything." Lyrea blushed and stood up when Hanrak beckoned her to him. "Take it easy on him. He could be a potential apprentice." HE whispered to her as she prepared to fight Luke there, infront of everyone. "Whats a pretty little girl like you doing here as a Black Feather?" Luke cooed mockngly. That sparked Lyrea's anger and she knocked him to his butt in a matter of seconds. "I'm not little!" She said to him. Luke looked up at her and shrugged. "Ok ok, you look pretty tall from down here any way." Before she could move, he knocked her feet out from under her and pinned her to the floor. She heard a few snickers, but Saggitarius quieted the fools with a quick, menacing glance. Lyrea struggled to get out of Luke's grasp, but he was pretty strong for a scrawny boy. "Didn't think a scrawny skater-boy could hold down a pretty warrior, did you?" Lyrea waited for him to let his guard down and kneed him in the stomach. He recoiled in pain and she got to her feet. She took out her sword and slashed at Luke. Quick as lightning, Luke drew his own sword, which was slung over his shoulder. All that could be heard was the clang of black metal against silver metal. Lyrea's menacing dark bladed sword slashed and cut Luke slightly. Luke's own silver bladed sword did the same. Lyrea pushed him back with her sword. She charged and and slashed. Luke dodged and knocked her aside with the blunt side of his sword. "Your pretty good." Lyrea smirked and slashed, cutting his cheek a little. "You are too." She grinned and went in for the ending blow. But,Luke was faster. He knocked her down. She layed there, unmoving. Luke stared in horror. "Oh my God, did I kill her?" He cautiously walked over to her. Hanrak, watching from he sidelines, smirked. He knew this little trick that Lyrea always used to fool her opponents. When Luke bent down to check on her, Lyrea opened her eyes and punched Luke straight in the gut. he stumbled backwards, shock on his face. "I-I thought you were dead!' Lyrea smirked. "Its called playing dead!" She grinned at the shocked expression on his face. Saggitarius clapped his hands. "Very good,Lyrea! An excellent show! And you,Luke, have great skills! Its been a while since someone has knocked Lyrea down like that!" Both Lyrea and Luke blushed at the complements. "I have decided that Luke will become a Black Feather! And you,Lyrea, you will graduate to a full member as well! Hanrak, you did well in teaching Lyrea the ways of a Black Feather. You are all dismissed!" With that, the slender Saggitarius got up and walked out of the church/tower. Lyrea grinned proudly. Tyeisa, who had watched the end of the mock battle, came over and hugged Lyrea. "You were excellent,Lyrea!" Lyrea blushed and grinned. "Thanks Tyeisa." Luke shook off his shock and came over to Lyrea as well. "Hey, Lyrea, your a pretty good fighter." Lyrea grinned. "Thanks, you are too." They both grinned at each other until Red, Hanrak, Scarrface, and another man, Kityeswa, came over. "Excellent performance, you two. I think you guys would make an great team." Red said. "I spoke with Saggitarius and he agrees." Lyrea looked from Red to Hanrak. "Are you serious?" They both nodded and Lyrea did all she could to supress a great big smile. "Alright, you two go with Tyeisa to get some thing for your wounds." A few hours later, Lyrea and Luke walked down the street to the large building the Black Feathers lived in. "Ok, you'll have to pick out your own room to stay in."
"Ok." Luke said and picked the room across the hall from Lyrea's. Lyrea went into her room, which was an apartment room and flopped down on the bed. She quickly fell asleep. A few hours later, she was woken up by a hand over her mouth. She struggled a bit, but strongs arms kept her still. "Sssh, its me, Luke." Lyrea bit his hand and sat up, looking at him icily. "What the hell are you doing here?!" He shrugged and looked at his hand. "Well, Hanrak wanted you and me to meet him at the quarry for a meeting." Lyrea smacked him on the head. "And you couldn't have knocked on my door to tell me this?!" Luke grinned sheepishly and got up. "Would you just hurry up and get going?" He snapped. Lyrea rolled her eyes and pushed him out of her room and closed the door so she could get dressed.
