Somehow, this was supposed to be something about Ocelot and the Cobras.

But...

Alright, officially, all of the Cobras, minus the Boss, have been defeated. Volgin and the Shagohod as well.

But that doesn't matter.

At the Weapons Lab, the area where you have to steal the Major's clothes, I went Raikov watching. So, I dressed as a scientist, and stood by the stairs. Both Aya and my sister(Hagashagablogaboo, to the Gaians) were watching me play(as there's no way in hell Aya wil touch MGS), and, suddenly, a figure came walking down the stairs.

Haga said, " That's a woman!" since she saw feathery, pretty, blond hair...

I said, after looking at it more closely:

" That's not a woman...! It's... It's.... RAIKOV!!!"

My elation at seeing him, somehow, matched my fangirlly gigglyness at seeing Ocelot.

And his voice...

I'd heard rumors...

And even though I knew the American voice actor was a man...

Aya, Haga, and I might have just as well died laughing after hearing it. DAMN, Raikov's voice is feminine.

No, seriously, I thought there was some error in Wikipedia after checking his voice actor. Charlie Schlatter. Unless 'Charlie' is short for 'Charlotte', I'm thinking that Charlie Schlatter is a young, effeminate boy.

Knowing that both Volgin and the Boss were in the Spongebob Squarepants movie(I s**t you not, The Boss's voice actor also does Pearl), I frankly wouldn't be surprised.

In the Japanese version, the same guy who voiced Raiden (Kenyu Horiuchi) voiced Raikov. So, supposedly, Raikov has a much deeper, jaded voice.

But enough of that.

Is it just me, or did anyone else find endless amusement in that, if you throw a snake(Reticulated python for me) in front of him, he'll take out his knife, kill it, and when a ration appears, he says "Something to eat!" And EATS IT.

He also says "Delicious!" after eating it. That right there has to be one of the true highlights of the game for me. xd

Also, if you bump in to him, he'll say "Get back to work!" In a very PMSy, bitchy voice.
