Yep. Today is the day! My little boy was five at 12:23 am this morning! biggrin Omg! i can't believe he is five already... crying oh how my little baby has really grown a lot. and this past year he has made so much progress in relation to his speech and vocal capabilities. He still isn't having conversations or finished potty training, but we are asking for what we want with a name. so it's no more grunting or whining for what he wants, but he says cereal or juice or what have you.
I'll write later cuz right now i have to shuffle off to work for a 10-5 shift. see you all later.

edit: continuation of earlier entry... ok. so i get home from work.. unwind a bit. then we get ready to take naaman out to the mall for the evening. First thing we did is visit this arcade. he wanted to try playing air hockey, and he did really well! well.. until he tried to throw the puck thinking that was easier. we got him to stop doing that, but then he just wanted to use his hadn to get the puck down to me... and we had to stop that too. so after a game of air hockey, he wanted to try a ddr rip off machine. i figured to go ahead and let him.. omg.. it was soo cute! he did awful, but he was so cute jumping aruond trying to look like he was doing the moves. he just couldn't reach more than one button at a time.. adn a lot of those songs require two button jumps.. still.. was completely adoreable! 4laugh then he wanted to play this outrun game. so i sat with him and pressed the gas while he tried to steer.. but they had feedback vibrations when you were on the side of the road.. kind of killed it for him. so we left soon after that. we went adn got some hot pretzels from aunt annies.. yum. then we went to the lower level where they have a play area for children. We did notice that while he wasn't playing with anyone in particular... he was beign aware of the other children. and he would run up and pat a few of them...lol. i guess that is his way of saying hi, you wanna play? sweatdrop I was getting nervous when he was getting impatient with kids in his way. when he was on the hippo... i was almost sure he was gonna try to forcibly move the boy in front of him off of it.. -_-; luckily he didn't.. I did have to tell him to be nice and not so rough with the other kids once. then he came over and ate some of the pretzels we had. so then we got him some mcd's nuggets on the way home... ^^ fun night. i hope he liked his birthday. we will give him his presents and his small party at my mom's on sunday. I'll post then.
