It plagues my mind
A never ending rage
When my lunatic takes the stage

The world passes by
You dont hear them cry,
When they whisper their sweet goodbyes

Believe the lies
The promises that never come
Fading away like the setting sun

Try to follow and be swallowed
Engulfed by the ever present darkness
Darkness that never goes away

It sometimes hides
In the shadows in the shade in darkrooms
This is where it resides

Its always there like a faithful companion
It opens up, embrace its calling, it wants you

Walk out into the night and bathe in its light
Let the darkness consume you

Do not run theres no escaping it, nowhere to hide
Dont turn on the light, the bulbs do not last, they lie,
When they break the light will fade just as the setting sun does

Then the faith full companion will embrace you once again
The darks nights embrace, it calls to me as I lay...
