This one's a by a New Zealand author by the name of Gaelyn Gordon. Three cousins who are controlled by their aunt who is a witch. Fantasy, but it's got realism as well. I can see a way to stop their stupid aunt from abusing them, but the girls just seem to take it and hope for the best...

Speaking of tomatoes, Lili is sunburnt from her poetry group meeting in a graveyard and looking at dead peoples epitaphs etc. She's said "I look like a tomatoe." With a woe begotten look upon her little red face. blaugh
More work news : two of my colleagues are pregnant.
Eda's husband just got back from Japan (Lucky devil!!! Except he didn't like it - was business anyway) and he got me some manga! You beaut juicy fruit! Said I'll pay him back, but he said not to worry. I must trick Eda into taking payment for them... but how?
