The nice pretty Showtime show about Marijuana. I don't think it really fits in with the music and arts subforum, which I looked into first.
They are starting the second season replays now for the third to start come August. Don't know if anyone watches it or not but if anyone does than it can be talked about in here.

Hehe yeah, I think it's 'chatty' enough that it's better off here. Maybe if it were a really artsy, existential sort of show... I'm just judging on the source, though -- nothing against Showtime, 'Poltergeist: The Legacy' was a guilty pleasure of mine for years, and... well, 'Queer Duck' just wins everything, but Showtime's staff doesn't seem to aim for Cannes or anything, far as I can tell... XD
I think the sis has the DVDs, though -- BlueNereidUmi, are you here? -- I seem to remember her ranting about the season finale pissing her off, at least!
Been meaning to jack those DVDs from her, though. I remember seeing ads in the beginning, but I never had... well, cable, for one... the 'rents do but have never had a package with Showtime. Is it more drama, or comedy, or...?

What do you think?
Especially tossing in the other dealers, the DEA agent, the son entering puberty, the son who screws his girlfriend under the open sunroof in the house because they agreed not to do so under the roof.
It has elements of both. I'd go more in detail but I don't want to spoil anything.

This is a great show.
I never got to finish
the first season though.
I've been trying to watch
it online cause I dont have
cable where Im living now.
But It hasn't been working
the best lately. I'll catch up eventually.

The first season is pretty comedic, the second season is a lot more dramatic - it got a lot darker. I stopped watching it stoned about halfway through season 2, if that says anything. mad d
I've got the first season on DVD and plan to buy season 2 when it comes out at the end of July. I get Showtime, but since I forget when stuff's on TV, I usually end up watching episodes from various Bittorrent trackers. sweatdrop I might remember to program the third season's run into my DVR, though.

The teenage drama, I'm sure'll make me glad for the fast-forward button -- but the sunroof logic-leap's amusingly impressive. I need to hunt down the sis anyway, so hopefully I remember to ask her about that. And hopefully she hasn't lost it!

It's dealing with him learning how to jerk off and then going to get a hand job because he's the only boy in his grade who never had one.

I think I need to keep an eye out at the video store for the dvds. I remember seeing advertisements when the show was new, but unfortunately I don't get Showtime. cry

I love Weeds, I kinda misse the 2nd season first time around and now I'm catching the repeats. I usually found myself saying 'oh, s**t' at the end of last episode I saw epsidoe.
