Sorry for the late reply, it kinda slipped my mind. Nobody in my department has it to my knowledge. I do essential work in a medium-high risk facility and I think we now have enough tests that we can be tested even without showing symptoms. On a positive note, I noticed that since then some of my more mask-averse coworkers have started wearing masks more regularly even where they're not required (although they still won't cover their noses, but baby steps). I still can't believe they aren't required at all times.
Now I've read about this new strain on the way, and apparently it spreads even more rapidly than the current one. It's early to say but apparently it's otherwise no worse than the current strain and the vaccines should work against it too.
Speaking of which. I'm scheduled to get my vaccine later this week. I had to disclose some medical issues I had when I filled out my paperwork, so hopefully that won't disqualify me from receiving it.
I'm sorry to hear about your relatives. It's good to hear they're recovering. No fatalities, I hope? Best wishes.
Now with 2020 gone things will hopefully begin looking up. mrgreen
