I have a feeling that in their haste to get started, many new members tend to not look around at all the useful topics that might help them during their time with Aqua. Here's a list of those useful topics:

About Joining In The Middle Of RPs.
Hey Aqua
When you see an RP going on, it's there for you to jump in! We are tired of seeing members come online during the middle of RPs and only posting things like:
*Bob walks in the HQ*
Bob: Oh? No one's here. Oh well.
*Sits down on the couch and leaves his team mates hang high and dry*
ALL, I repeat, ALL RPS ARE OCCURRING FOR YOU, THE MEMBER, TO JOIN IN AND EXPERIENCE.
When you come to Aqua and see that there is an RP going on, read back a couple pages to see everyone's posts to get an idea of what is going on in the RP. Or if you're too lazy, PM whoever is participating in the RP and ask for details.
So instead of posting that your character is showing up to an empty HQ, post something like:
*Bob locates his team mates and runs up to them*
Bob: Nice weather to kick some bad guy butt today, huh?
*Helps his team mates, fights battles to gain evo points, and earns rewards for participating in RPs*
^^^Posting stuff like that, btw, gives you major brownie points for rank ups. We love to see really committed members!
It is true, as of lately members below the rank of Executive haven't been the most privileged to help steer the direction of Aqua's story line, but all that is about to change.
From now on, we will be expecting members with the rank of Aqua Lieutenant and higher to contribute more to the overall story of the RP. (This doesn't mean those who are of that rank or higher can run full-fledged RPs, but they are allowed to shake things up a bit.) By this rank we have more trust in your abilities as a role player and a member of Team Aqua to be a tad-more independent.
razz Come on. You guys don't wanna play follow the leader all the time! We know that! So be a little more loose while RPing here in Team Aqua! Be spontaneous.
Just don't god mod. The admins are still the ones who are in charge of RP story lines. Don't throw too big of a wrench in our plans. xP If you want to know if something's ok to post, PM any tier 1 member present that is present in the RP. We'll help you out. biggrin We live to serve.
P.S. - Remember that OCC (Out-of-Character-Chat) is not allowed in the main RP thread. Keep side comments, questions, and such contained in PMs or in the chat thread.
