So, I feel, lets have a dicussion here! I think a decent amount of people here are approximatly high school age, so I'd like to ask a question
What do you want to do in your future?
Talk about a number of things - college or not? Future jobs? Do you plan to go into the art or writing field? Children? Marrige? What do you want?
Some of you are already in college. What are you studying?
And others are much older and already technically 'in their future' in a sense. Are you doing what you want to be? Are you pleased? Is what you wanted, as say, a high school student, whats happening now?
Its pretty much a free-for-all kind of, on all things about your future. I suppose I could get us started off then!
I'm still on the fence with college, but there are two things I desperatly want in my future. Travel. and Children. I want to travel all over to many different countries and see so many different things! And I really do adore babies and children, and I want to have my own one day for sure. As for a job, who knows really, but comptuer science is probably my best lead at the moment. (I have a big personal college/future question in Q&A, but thats a seperate topic.)
So, lets have a go, eh? Tell me about your goals! biggrin

I want to get total control of my ADHD so that I don'thave that always interfering wiht my life. Like right now when I should be working on my huge art projects...
I'm in college. I want to become an animator for Disney or Pixar or Dreamworks, or create my own animation studio. I do want to get married, but I love the freedom to roam where I please so I may not have kids until I have a solid career.

katsoyu I want to get total control of my ADHD so that I don'thave that always interfering wiht my life. Like right now when I should be working on my huge art projects... I'm in college. I want to become an animator for Disney or Pixar or Dreamworks, or create my own animation studio. I do want to get married, but I love the freedom to roam where I please so I may not have kids until I have a solid career. We both have ADHD. Since I'm going through Voc. Re-hab (which is through the Department of Labor) and like, as long as I do what they ask of me, they agreed to pay up through till I graduate. So, starting the 27th, I'm going to try to go for a 2 year AS degree in Computer Programming. Since I was a little kid, I've always wanted to become a Videogame Programmer, simply because I've always been around games. The very first game I ever picked up (and still have) was Super Mario Bros. (with Duck Hunt) for the NES. Amazingly enough, I still have all of my NES games, the Gun contoller, and they all still work! Through my entire life, I've owned 3 NES, 2 Segas, 2 PS1s, 3 PS2s, X-box, Gamecube, a Gameboy (the very very old ones), Gameboy Color, Gameboy Pocket, Gameboy Advance, Gameboy Advance SP, *thinks really far back* and an Atari 2600 (i think). So I've been around 19 years of game consoles and always wondered what actually goes into creating the games that you and I play. My dream, was to work at Square Soft, mainly because it was a x-mas present in '96 that I got my first Playstation, and with it, Final Fantasy 7 (they pre-ordered it <3) I'm sad, because my little brother gave it away! And it was still working also.. -tear- If I can't do that, then I wouldn't mind getting a job at Google or Microsoft or somewhere like that. Hopefully, when I retire, I'll be happily married, have atleast a little rascal like myself for a son (to keep the family name going) and a daughter, so that I can give the famous speach that all dads give atleast once in their life. So um.. yea.. That's my hopes and dreams. Have fun reading! xD

I'm in a community college right now, majoring in art. I hope to transfer either to an art university in Pennsylvania or to a technical college in New York, where one of my best friends is.
I definitely want art to be a source of income in my future. I love coming up with new things, especially characters, costumes, weapons/props, and environments, so being some kind of conceptual designer would be delightful.
I have three major life goals right now. These are things that will be accomplished at SOME point in my life. 1.) Publish a children's book. 2.) Get my art into a video game (success of game not important x_X even just a small little niche game, and I will be happy) And finally, 3.) Meet my closest online friend in person. heart

It would be cool to work with art, but I don't wanna have to do all that computer animating stuff, so since I like animals, I want to be a veterinarian. I'm an undergrad. So far it's working out okay, and I'm glad I'm out of that messed up school system, although sometimes I feel like choking out the people at this school.

I'm not sure which college to go to (any UC), but I want to major in physics or chemistry. A hate biology...The problem I have with physics is that I dislike math, but I love astronomy. Does anyone know a UC that has a strong science field?

I know this sounds like kind of a generic little girl dream, and that's really weird coming from an eccentric person like me, but I really want to be an actress, and be the only hollywood actress that isn't a total butthole/slut. But if that doesn't work, (it prolly won't,) I'd prolly be a nurse for a vet kuz animals are teh awesome. Or maybe an animator. Sumthin.
I plan to get married and have one or two kids, no more than that. Art will always be in my life, though! I will DEFINATELY keep that as my hobby. Make some summer moneys for my winter work. Dunno how much time I'll have if I'm an actress, though.

I always thought art would be my life but I'm starting to doubt that. I do plan on doing as much art as I can while making a steady income at whatever job I choose. Recently I've thought about becoming an art teacher. Dunno...

Ha, I like biology and don't really care much for Chemistry... (never took Physics) I can't really help with your question, though. Sorry sad
