Huni Pi's Diary Only she should be posting here. -------------------------------------------------------------- Nov 6th- After handling herself so well in the face of oppisition, Khun grew to a happy little child. Congrats! I bet she'll be happy that she can finally add words to her songs. heart
Oct 25th- Khun's cooking skills grow more and more and it's obvious how much joy such a task can bring. All of her time with the rest of the big family have had a pleasant effect too, teaching her some of the important lessons of caring for others, helping others out, and how important family is.Sep 20th- After much wait and much ado Khun has finally come to life, bringing a very soft touch to the shop. The mix of philosophy, movies with brightly optimistic messages, and the soft upbringing Khun has emerged into a real flower of an individual. 3nodding
July 29th- A walking contridiction you say? Well then some perfect companionship for you is this little unusualy hued panda girl. A bear but not really.. Sweet despite an intimidating appearance..  Scientific Name: Ailuropoda melanoleuca
Description: The giant panda is a small black and white bear with an infantile appearance brought about by its shortened muzzle and large black fur eye patches. Most of its torso and head are white with a black saddle across its back, black fore and hind limbs and black ears. It can weigh up to 275 pounds.
Range: Giant pandas live in the mountain ranges in the provinces of Sichuan, Shaanxi, and Gansu in Western China.
Habitat: Giant pandas are found in mixed deciduous/evergreen montane temperate forest, with a bamboo/rhododendron understory, between 3,000 and 10,000 feet altitude.
Diet: Giant pandas live almost solely on a diet of bamboo, up to 33 pounds a day, and will very rarely eat other plant matter or scavenge the meat of dead deer or takin.
Social Organization: Pandas are basically solitary, although neighboring males and female are likely to be familiar with each other and interact occasionally. Males have large territories that overlap the smaller territories of several females.
Conservation Status: Pandas are extremely endangered, with little more than 1000 individuals remaining in very fragmented and isolated habitat islands. The Giant Panda is listed as an Appendix I species in CITES.
Threats to Survival: The Panda's main threat is deforestation, the insularization of its remaining habitat and poaching.
Other: The giant pandas are the recognized international symbol of endangered species. However, there is limited public education about panda biology and conservation at this time. AZA is developing a plan to enhance education about pandas and conservation, both in North America and in communities within panda habitats.

History: Huni isn't what one could call an ordinary gaian, though whether there is such a thing as that is up for debate. Truthfully, Huni never existed until Addy discovered the world of Gaia. The orange haired woman couldn't leave her duties as Warse no Miko, at least not without causing chaos in the Gateway Realm. Interested in learning more about this world, Huni was born. Certain qualities of Addy can be found in the red head, particularly her affinity for anything predominantly orange. Other traits like hyperactivity and generosity can be seen in Huni as well.
But there are other things about Huni that is completely different from Addy. Single Blessedness is one such trait. The orange haired woman already has her proverbial other half, but Huni chooses to stay unattached. It's not that she hasn't had any advances made on her, Addy has tried pairing Huni up with someone already, but the red head just believes that she doesn't want the love of another individual to become anything more than intimate friendship.
Note: The person beside Huni in the picture is Syrie, he is one of Huni's good friends and is also her business partner.

I finally managed to linger in the shop longer than I usually did. Saw a peacock plush and heard from Naraka that the other key revealed a mouse. I'm born in the year of rat in the Chinese Zodiac (hey that rhymes!) and with that news I got more excited to see what my key would unlock.
Tenez seems nice, as for Naraka... he scares me... well not scary 'boo! scream!' scary, but... intimidating? Yes, that's more appropriate... but the real word I'm looking for is the Tagalog word ilang. Can't really translate that properly to English... oh well...
Iris is so sweet and nice, I like her. Well I like people really easily I suppose, but it's hard not to like her. I haven't met the other owner, Saeru, I hope he's as friendly as Iris is.
Well after a while I went back home. Then this... force just made me come back to the shop. The demi-human child showed me what to do with the key. I was ecstatic, no other word to describe the sensation I felt upon seeing my plush. I was nervous if anything, especially after what Naraka said about 'what if it was a mosquito or an amoeba' or something... Still, I wasn't expecting anything, so when this darling Panda plush came out... I was all "Eeeeeeeee!!!!"
I couldn't help myself, if it was alive I would have smothered it with kisses most likely. Then again, I already do... I love her to bits! Of course that doesn't make me love my other darlings any less. More to love. And I doubt if I'll ever run out for my sweeties.
I also met Mooful and her Sugar Glider and made a semi-fool of myself by just semi-imposing the arrival of my plush. I hope I hadn't made a bad impression on them...
After chatting with her, I had to go home. Nyeta was texting me to buy some stuff for her. I swear, sometimes I can't tell who's the employer and who's the employee... so I brought the plush home and introduced her to everyone.
Tylan, as usual, only shrugged nonchalantly. Pun gave her an awkward pat, not quite sure how to talk to a doll. Nyeta gave me a 'you've got to be kidding if you expect me to talk to a toy!' look.
My Fenthry Tara adores her, though. She kept saying how the plush is so warm. I think it's due to my body heat transfering to the plush from so many hugs... she insisted that I let her sleep with the plush tonight. Well I didn't want to say no to her, but I wanted to sleep with my doll too...
Compromise? I just made it so that Tara, the plush and I slept in the same bed. I only hope I don't end up crushing Tara... she's such a small thing...
