 Hiya, welcome to my closet, otherwise known as my avatar edit collection thread. Now I keep thinking of this line from "The Producers": "Darling! Back in the closet!" Harhar. I crack myself up.
I didn't become an avvy edit addict overnight. I remember having only one avvy edit (Meriko's red pirate edit) and being happy with that for a while. Then I found a nice avvy edit shop here, another nice avvy edit shop there, revisited the avvy edit shops that I've only skimmed before...and before I know it, I've become an avvy edit addict. I get the shakes whenever I go for too long without having avvy edits. I stalk avvy edit threads that are temporarily closed (or are even permanently closed). And I would spend hours organizing my avvy edits.
This avvy edit collection used to be all on one page. Then I realized that it takes forever and a half to load the page. So it's been renovated to contain one store per post. Hopefully this is easier to load ^^.
Feel free to post in this thread and ask questions or leave comments about my collection. You may also leave me a message in my shoutbox.
As most avvy edit collection threads go, please do not take any of the edits and graphics posted in this thread. Go to the shops that they came from and buy your own. I have a directory here that lists all the shops from which I purchased avvy edits. It's just a matter of locating the store name above the avvy edits, going to the directory, and clicking on that particular store name. Frankly, it's beyond me why people would steal other people's avvy edits. It's like stealing a stranger's yearbook picture.
The next two posts are more salutations. If you want to go ahead and look at the avvy edits, you can skip to the fourth post ^^.
There's a fair number of images here, so it might take a while for display pages to load. Oh, and these images were hosted on Photobucket. So if Photobucket is down (which appears to happen frequently o.o; ), then this page is also down. Rawr.
Also, as a side note, this page is best viewed using Firefox <3.
The avvy edit count does not include bases, scene edits where my clothes/body is not altered, and animations. Posts containing images that are not included in the avvy edit count are noted accordingly ^_~.
Current avvy edit count is 1442 ^^.
The avvy dancing doll you see in this post was made by kawaiihannah ^^.
The elfin header script was made by Singularity05 ^^.
The shoutbox was made by Unknown Variable ^^.

In Celebration of Avatar Edit Artists
 This post is dedicated to all you avatar edit artists out there. I am no avatar edit artist... I am completely incapable of creating any of the wonderful edits that you see here in my collection. Besides, that would be theft of artwork, won't it? But you know what I mean. I have no idea how avatar edits are made. And I always marvel at the mad skillz of avatar edit artists.
I've been thinking of honoring avatar edit artists for a while now, but never really got around to it. I think avatar edit artists are incredibly talented. The time, the patience, the effort, the expertise, and the creativity that they put into making each edit just blow me away.
I am even more impressed by the avatar edit artists who selflessly share their work with others. It amazes me that people could create such awesome edits and sell them at affordable prices, which allows a good number of people to afford them.
Without people who have a combination of these characteristics, I wouldn't have this crazy avatar edit collection that I am proud of.

I commissioned the uber-talented Bridgechan to make the award graphic you see here, which goes to the avatar edit shops listed below <3. Sometimes the award is posted in the shop thread, but sometimes it is PM'ed to the avatar edit artists, such as when the shop is closed.
I wish I could give an award to all the avatar edit shops I ordered from. I love all of you <3. If I ordered from you and you are not listed here, it doesn't mean that I think you are awful. No no no. You're awesome too. I wouldn't have ordered from your shop if I thought your edits were awful. You may consider this post as honoring you as well.
The award honors the very outstanding avatar edit artists that I know. Some of them have been in the business for a long time. Some of them take extreme measures to satisfy all of their customers. Some of them offer their edits for way less gold than what I think they are worth. And most of them have a wide selection of edits that just makes me feel all fuzzy inside as I browse their shops.
Some of the avatar edit shops selected for this award have already retired, or have already closed down shop for good. This award is my little way of ensuring that these retired artists' wonderful contributions to the avatar edit community will always be remembered. I am very happy to have been able to order from your shop back when it was open ^^.
There are several criteria that I have for selecting the shops that you see below. Some of these criteria are:

Answer: If you click on the image, it will take you to my avatar edit collection thread, which contains avatar edits that I have ordered from your wonderful shop. The link specifically takes you to a post in that thread, which has information about this award and the list of its recipients.
It's a great privilege to order from your shop, and please take pride in the fact that other recipients of this award include other admirable avatar edit artists <3.
I hope I did not disturb the business atmosphere of your shop too much, and that you did not mind this intrusion too overly much. Again, I bow to your mad avatar edits skillz ^^.
