Felix -- Pablo's adopted father. Nervous, a computer geek, and high-strung, he's not exactly cut out for the whole fathering thing but he does his best. He's really not sure what to make of Pablo, even after rearing two other of DCorp's charges.
Ajhira -- Pablo's adopted mother. She's much more parental than her husband and though she occasionally finds Pablo to be a bit trying on her patience, she loves him just as dearly as her other kids.
Sharika -- Pablo's older "sister". She was the first of DCorp's charges to be placed under Felix and Ajhira's care and has grown into a full-bodied teenager. She has never lost her animalistic edge or her insatiable love for running around like a madwoman outside and rolling in the dirt.
Alex -- Pablo's older "brother" and the middle child of the family. While his peacock DNA suggests he ought to be pompous and swaggering, Alex is anything but. Extremely neurotic and a staunch believer in unexplained mysteries, urban legends, and the supernatural, Alex is constantly getting on someone's nerves with his prattling.
Gavin -- a unicorn/pegasus child adopted from the Maban Mabwysiad center. He's a curious and good-natured baby who loves to get into everything. At least he sleeps a lot.
Logarth -- Sharika's dragon. He's sour to those he doesn't know and is constantly filling Sharika's head with bad ideas. Like helping him dig up the entire backyard so he'll have more room to burrow.
Vermatrix -- Alex's dragon. She loves shinies and seems to be flat-out embarrassed by Alex, only allowing herself to be associated with him grudgingly.
