Lawl.
So my mom has heard all this s**t about myspace which is more or less true, and she's already one of those over-protective parents (examples? Ive never been to a party, never been to the house of an opposite sex, never had opposite sex over, never had a party, I was first allowed to go to the mall with no adult supervision but with a friend last year, etc) and she kept asking my name.
I kept refusing to tell her.
So I come down today and see this Post-It note that has my MySpace written on it and a friends.
So I guess she checked our history and checked it :/ So I set my thing to friends only ;3 and threw the post it away
Discuss that and extra
(who wants to add me lawl even tho i rarely go on 4laugh )

my mother is almost JUST like that
last year was when i finally started getting to go to parties and hang with people of the opposite sex
with her knowing...

She also was never around
So it worked out

THAT'S JUST LIKE MY PARENTS.
Good lord, it sounds like you're describing them.
Sometimes they let me go to parties, but I've never been to the mall alone with friends.
They're ALWAYS there.
My dad has a myspace just to check mine. But I set my profile to private, and I won't accept his friend request surprised

My mums a total b***h. She read my little journal thingy a while ago and read that I had done cocaine. b***h shouldn't go looking for things she doesn't wanna find.
But she's finally getting to the stage where she's realizing anything she says will not change my mind about anything.

My parents have always trusted me to know between right and wrong, so they've never been very strict about the things i watch, the books i read, or the websites I visit. They know as long as I'm not emulating the bad habits I encounter through the media and such, I'm alright.
They let me go a lot of places without adult supervision, as well, but that may be because she knows my friends aren't the kind of people to go off and get drunk and all that.

My parents are usually lax with stuff like that. They know they can trust me.

She didn't want me going to homecoming cos she thought I was lying and was actually going to a party rolleyes I dont have my license yet and she was freaking about a friend driving me.
She actually wanted to drive into town after midnight, pick me up, and take me to my friend's and have my friend just drive herself home, but I think I might have talked her out of it.
I'm not sure tho cos she kept saying "FINE. If you die it's not my fault"
