What is International Puppyshipper Day?
International Puppyshipper Day is a day to, if you want, wear shippy jewelry/badges/shirts/whatever and try to spot other shippers. Who knows who you might meet!?
When is International Puppyshipper Day?
September 25. It's a weekday during the school year, so hopefully it'll be a good date for seeing lots of potential shippers, as opposed to a summer weekend where you might just stay at home.
What if I don't have any shipper stuff to wear?
Then it's time to break out the creative stuff!
What if I don't have any shipper stuff to wear AND I'm not creative?
No problem. Here are some really simple ideas:
1. Buy alphabet beads (you can find them at craft stores, bead stores, Wal-Mart, lots of places). String a few together on a chain or ribbon to spell SBRL, RLSB, PUPPYSHIPPER, WOLFSTAR, REMUSSIRIUS, SIRIUSREMUS, ONETRUEWAY, or any other shippy names or slogans you can think of.
2. Buy a t-shirt or find an old one you don't wear anymore. Write something shippy on it in fabric paint (also available at craft stores, Wal-Mart, lots of places).
3. No money to spare? Heck, write on your hand.
4. Make a button (badge) - print a copy of your favorite piece of fan art and make a button out of it. A great product to use is Kelly's Reusable Fun Buttons; they're very easy to use, they're made for kids but are fun for anyone. And if you get sick of your button, you can always reuse it. (If you're an American, they sell these at Michael's.)
I can't wear any of that stuff to my job.
Have you got any moon-and-star stuff? Earrings, necklace, bracelet? No one will know but your fellow shippers. wink
I don't think there are any Sirius/Remus shippers in my area.
Hey, you never know. I met some at Catholic school.
I don't want to do it.
