Rocky Lake In the Centre of the Vale lies a pristine lake. The waters are clear and large rocks are spattered here and there. Not a troubling presence really, but really only good for kids who want to dive into the lake. Though I wouldn't advise diving, the dam has made the water level drop. Due to the burst dam, the lake is now flooded, and overflowing the banks. However, the broken pieces of the dam have washed downriver and are floating like giant rafts in the lake, forming a loose bridge across the lake.

Slow down just a bit, little slower, really tame walk, and finally just an outright stop as Veronica let go of the poor animal's neck and lifted up a bit. For being a summoned beast the tiger looked about ready to give out after a dead run like that.
This is not to say she even considered for a moment getting off and allowing it to rest. The fact that it had stopped walking was more then enough. At least there were no crazy men with chainsaws chasing after her. This made the world a good place.
Least for now...the fact that she was guzzling more booze only made it better.

And so they rested for a bit.
There were not really alot of choices for her, least not good ones. The place she had come from was out due to obvious reasons. And the other way lead back to the plains that she had left earlier.
There was really only one decision, so obviously that is the one she took. Once more her tiger set off at a run towards her destination...which just so happened to be the fuel depot.

“Gyaaaaaah!” THUD. Mozz landed in the rocky lake as fire singed his two-tone jeans. After landing hard on his arm, a bit of moss flowed from his shoulder to tend to his bruise. He eyed his surroundings, seeing Veronica again he couldn’t help but laugh. “I just keep on running into you…”

Mozz eyes did the duble blink as Veronica sped off in a random direction. Not knowing where he was anymore, he saw no other choice but to follow her, he had to protect the innocent and what not, and she was the closet thing around.

And so right back where we started from. Unfortunately this time no big kitty to help carry the load. Thankfully the trek was over almost before it started.
Once they were, as she judged, a safe distance from the Fuel Depot, Veronica straight up dropped Mozz off of her and ploped down to a seat on the ground. Immediately she went to work on popping a piece of gum into her mouth and chewing.
"So like...where to now...?" She had skipped out before the plains were set fire to and did not know about that. And realistically, she had no idea where in hell they were, great thing really.

Mozz slowly regained himself, letting go of Veronica now, he took a moment to catch his breathe, sitting on a large rock. “Well, we seem to have a way of finding difficult combats.” He smiled "What next?"
"Why not go down the river bed?" he seemed to have nearly regained hismelf. "I haven't seen hide nor hair of these shadow monsters, and I've been getting curious."

Shrug, not like she saw anything wrong with it. Was kind of curious about these shade things herself really.
"Okay." And that was pretty much the decision. Rise back up to a stand and brush off her poncho, adjust her mask, and other things like that. She was totally ready to get attempt to get killed again.

Water rushed out from the forest, filling the lake once again... though it carried with it countless trees and other forms of debris from washing over the Dead Forest.
Two epicly enormous wooden 'rafts' drifted downstream with the water, though when they struck the stones at the bottom of the lake, they came to a halt even as the water continued on.
It appears that 'once a dam, always a dam'...
One could now cross the lake on foot if they wanted to, between the pieces of the dam and the debris that had been washed with it into the lake.

And with it came a figure, holding a longbow protectively as he floated limply in the water. Unfortunatly for him, he had come in with the water before the dam. And he didn't exactly seem all that concious.
Well...at least he was floating face up, and still seemed to be breathing? Barely, though.

Hakan still floated there, unconcious, bleeding some into the water. He had an arrow in his shoulder after all, even if the shaft has been broken in the water.

It was fun, on some level, he just used the boards and broken pices of wood to jog his way across the lake.

Ji Long hurried along the makeshift bridge of floating debris from the dam as his CORE was activated, turning on. He was expecting trouble.
