SHADE OCCUPIED

Often refereed to the "shade side" of the plains, the crescent plains are just as one would expect. Grass as far as the eye can see, the occasional stone or tree breaking it up. There are a few abandoned wooden or stone buildings the closer you get to the shadowed or lakeside ruins.

This place is now an area that is off limits to players wanting to have an easy walkies through the fields.

Booby traps, trenches and other nasty little guerilla type armaments, including some vicious stone barriers from the Jagged cliffs run through out the large expance of mostly harmless seeming grasslands.

Enter at your own risk.

• Head to the Twilight Woods.
  
• Head to the Lakeside Ruins.
  
• Head to the Sunrise River.
  
• Head to the Rough Trail.
  
• Rock climb up to the Bleached Overlook.
  
• Head to the Narrow Pathways.

"Hush." The armoured leader of the group began, "There are foes about... and besides, we're almost there."

"Oh."

And with that they entered the lakeside ruins.

The plains streched almost endlessly as the group descended out of the Rough Trail. We can't walk this... Suddenly, Rivan had an Idea. If he could levitate a rock, why not a platform?

"Hey, everyone back up a bit." he said as he gathered his energy. He hummed softly to maintain concentration as a 20 ft by 30 ft platform shook free of the ground and hovered in the air about five feet. He finished the spell by magnitizing the platform so it would hover on it's own.

"There we are, instant plain travel. Please keep your arms, legs, and magical awarenesses inside the craft at all times." Rivan jumped up on the platform in front, he would still have to steer after all.

"Excellent." It was all that came out of his mouth as he hopped onto the platform. Certainly more comfortable than dragonback, which would probably have been their only other option. Rivan's power was impressive- Stryphe could see the potential in his skills immediately.

"Glad I'm on your side, pal. 'Name's Stryphe, by the way."


((That's me forcing an aquaintance. xD))


He blinked, then turned his head and smirked at Sunstrike.

"Bold."

"Well hello again." Sey said with a smile to Stryphe and everyone else.

"Stay safe, okay? All of you..." Her eyes settled on Stryphe in particular before she looked to Sunstrike with a beaming smile.

"And I'm insane? I'll admit I'm a little headstrong and stubborn, but not insane. Shall we go to the Lakeside Ruins?"

Sunstrike held out his hand for just a moment, waiting. Finally the shade group caught up with them. Sun looked sideways at them for a moment.

"Is...something wrong?" They were looking at Sey in a strange way...well, as strangly as you could with only an enourmous eye in your face.

"Well..."They started moving again, one of the shades speaking up as they went. "We wanted to ask the female mage whether mushrooms are appealing to her...as fungi's."

Sunstrike twitched...

"Trying not to lose the slowpokes," Flare smirked as she replied to Sun.

She edged a little bit closer to the man, just close enough that no one else would hear the question she was about to ask. "Are you alright? Recovered?" It wasn't out of consideration for Sun that she kept the question private, but rather consideration for her own reputation.

She glanced at the platform, and waved for them to move on without her. She'd catch up the moment Sun answered her.

"No, we're alright!" Sey answered back to Rivan as she waved them off. Stay safe guys... Stay safe.



"Uh?" Sey blinked as she walked alongside Sunstrike towards the Ruins.

"Mushrooms are fungi. But if you're speaking about things like fungus on trees or nasty people's feet... I'd rather have the mushrooms since I can cook with most of them." She answered amusedly. Strange questions...
