Um, will you be able to catch all of the 386 pokemon in Emerald? I need to know wheher I should buy it or not...

In that edition alone, no; probably not. However, I do know you can catch Suudowoodo; and probably a couple other Jhoto monsters.

Golem OTCT In that edition alone, no; probably not. However, I do know you can catch Suudowoodo; and probably a couple other Jhoto monsters. waaaaa.... I CAN'T AFFORD A DS!!! or leafgreen/firered... @Serelia: Yes, actually, you could. Pokemon yellow, you catch all of the pokemon there were back then...

Golem OTCT Nein. Yellow had some specefic omissions. Irritatingly and oddly enough, Raichu. The damn Pikarat wouldn't take a Thunderstone in that game, so you had to trade it off to another gamepack to evolve it.

No, but i think i had a dream were i asked someone if you could catch a groudon in Emerald and he said yes eek I have odd dreams.....ANYWAY, im pretty sure you can catch groudon. WHY did i ask? Because i lost my ruby and it had 3 of every legendary pokemon!! gonk Ruby, WERE ARE YOU?!?!? And, you can trust my dream 3nodding

my guess for Emerald is that you won't be able to catch the pokemon that are in FireRed/LeafGreen, but you will be able to catch almost all (if not all) of the rest.
