Well, since it's been around forever since I've been in a literate vampire roleplay, I was thinking of starting one up right here in the guild.

As far as this thread is concerned, I'm really interested to see how many people would join or think it's a good idea at the least.

And by the way, I have many ideas for the roleplay plot, etc. but any others you might have to suggest would be great and considered ^-^.

My ideas:

Rather than the typical Vamp vs. Lycan idea, I'd like to see a Clan vs. Clan, or maybe Clan vs. Clan vs. Human. It's not to say Lycans can't be involved, but the whole plot of Vamp vs. Lycan is overplayed and tends to get too much like Underworld.

Additonally in a former roleplay the clans of Vampires were a lot like mafia groups or secret agencies mingling in the affairs of humans in ways such as being mercenaries, spy/detectives, etc. I like the idea of having the vampire world tangle in with the human world, in both good ways and bad.

These are my ideas so far. Any suggestions are deeply considered and welcomed.

ooo this sounds good. I actually had an idea similar to this but instead of clans, I called the Covenants. But any who, the idea of mafia/gang thing is an awesome Idea. The war/battle could start from others moving into their turf or from one being human blood feeders and the others being alternative blood feeders. The Lycans can be involved in that they are the servants/slaves of the vampires since in vampire folklore they are usually the slaves. Anyhoo, hope this helped (maybe? confused ) and that you start a vampire rp.

This sounds like an awesome idea. I would defentaly join if you started one. Just make sure to tell me so I'm not left out. lol.
I could help with drastic turns in the plot once we get going,(I'm good at that. XD) if you would like.
I'm very interested in this idea, sounds like a ton of fun!

I am very interested. Ever since reading the Anita Blake series I've loved Vampires and Lycanthrope and the sort. Though... my vampire would probably not be good for an rp on this site... Mainly because I'd model it after some of the characters in the books and most of the vampires there were sexaholics. So that won't work. My lycanthrope would probably be a power hog...

Anyway, still interested. If you get this thing going then please pm me the link, it'd be very nice of you.
