This past month marked my 3rd year here as a Gaian citizen. In reflection of that time, I thought about my future here and what I would like to accomplish.
It has been fun helping hundreds if not thousands of fellow Gaians see their dreams come true for what ever it was they were questing for. Which brought me to my own dream, that I have not yet fulfilled...
The only item I have ever loved that I have not had is the adorable Panda Hat. It may seem like an unattainable goal, but I realized I have given away much more than what would have bought one in the past 3 years.
Therefore I hope that everyone will understand that I feel it is time for me to see my own dream realized.
In that light, I am for the time being closing my game as far as prizes are concerned. Everyone is welcome to play the word game, and chat and keep the thread alive in that way - and still get gold for your posting. I'll join in too in playing the word game and chatting and making this a hang out of sorts.
I hope everyone will understand - and well, if you don't - then you've haven't given enough stuff away yet XP

"I Spy" as we have played it in the past is on hold!
Gaia seems to be changing almost constantly lately! I just don't have the hours it takes to check out all the new stuff and make sure where all things can be found stressed
Sooo.... for the time being, we're going to "spy" a little differently.
This thread has an ongoing "word association" game being played - has been from the very beginning. The object of the game is to have fun with word associations... example:
Evil~~~>bunny of doom
Bunny of doom --> Grunny!
You may not quote yourself in playing the game, a different person must add a new word before you can play again... so you should not ever be posting 2 times in a row (aside from the occasional double post glitch blaugh )
A couple of times weekly, I will pop in and "spy" by use of a random roll of 1 10 sided dice every "X" number of posts and award the winners 100 gold for each time "I Spy" them. The more you play the better your chances of winning 3nodding You can win as many times as the count falls on your name - so if you play a lot... you could potentially win quite a bit of gold!!
I will post the list of winners and how much they each won on my post, and the game will being again from the next post until I post again.
Hope this makes sense... if not you can just ask and I'll try to better explain.
This new game begins from my post on page 135! You do not have to "claim" your prize like in the free lotto... I will automatically send it to you - just play the word game often for better chances to win ^_^

I have decided to join in the fun with a game called... (drum roll please)
"I Spy"
"I Spy" is a game that many of you may be familiar with from your childhood days... it goes something like this...
"I spy, with my little eye, something......" and a series of clues follow until someone guesses what was being described.
My game will work in that same way, with a few alterations to fit our Gaia community...
*Each of the images that I describe will be found somewhere here in Gaia.
*The image could be ANYWHERE!!!! in a shop, a header, a forum, an item... maybe even a person. The Gaian sky is the limit! I will not describe things that could change (ie. what an avatar is wearing, or a non-sticky thread that might drop off the first page of a forum).
*Should I find that I have accidently described an item that is found in more than one place, I will check out the url given, and if it is actually the same item, I will allow it as a correct answer. 3nodding
Rules:
1. I am the undisputed goddess of this thread!!! All judgment calls will be made by myself and what I decide will be final!!! NO EXCEPTIONS!!! Please remember, this is a new game, as we go along, rules may have to be updated to fit how it works ok?
2. NO Whining, spamming, flaming or other offensive stuff! I am a lady, but I wield a big stick! wink No evil talk about others posting here either.
3. This Game is FREE!!! So please don't complain about stuff in it! I KNOW it isn't an easy game - it isn't supposed to be! xp The idea here is for you to get some extra gold, while having a little fun seeing some things around Gaia you may have never noticed. You can guess as often as you like until the deadline. If time permits, I will acknowledge your guess with a pm back to let you know if you need to keep trying. (I work and drive 130 miles daily to get there and back, so sometimes my computer time is a bit limited)
5. PLAY FAIR! Don't tell others the location... cheating is for losers - if I find out you are cheating, you will be BANNED from this game! Also, DON'T you and your 14 mules come and play! A BANNABLE offense as well... I am not stupid people, I have been here since Aug. 03'... if it's been done, I've seen it!
6. For the Current game, please check near the end of the thread... (my hubbie and daughter's games are both over a year old.. so we may be at this a while.)

THE GAME
Each new game will begin sometime on Sunday (usually in the afternoon).
*I will start out with fairly generic clues, getting more specific as the week goes by.
*I will add new clues daily through Thursday.
*The game will end on Thursday at 12 midnight Central Standard Time (my timezone).
*If by chance no one finds the item I am spying, I'll give additional clues on Friday and extend the time an extra day.
*Winning guesses will be announced and prizes awarded each week after the game ends, usually on Friday. (bank willing)
The Prizes:
To start I will award approximately 2000 gold weekly. This will be divided among all the winners for the week. So if you are the only winner you get 2k, if there are 20 winners you will each get 100g... get it?
