Here's a brief explanation of what the lotto is all about!
The free lotto was founded by me on Oct.15 2003.
It was made to be a charity for all users with a unique twist.
The twist would be the fact that it's a lotto!
With it being free you can't lose and don't have to pay to play.
I do this lotto out of the kindness of my heart.
(After the Easter event in 2005 the free lotto was moved from the Lotto/Money Games forum to here in this guild.)
How the winners are chosen:
Because of the number of members I use randomizer.org to
choose the winners.
Prizes that are given out:
Usually 20 prizes of 300g are drawn daily.
How to enter the free lotto.
Up until now one would simply post "I'm in" here on the thread.
Now that has changed!
The free lotto now has a separate thread here in the guild to post that you want in!
This is to help make certain that no one will ever get missed again!
So if you want in the lotto please post in THAT thread that you want in!
Once you're in you're in for good!
Unless you PM me asking to be out or you leave the guild.
I also want to make it clear that you can win more than one time!
It's not just a one time deal!
Here are the rules of the free lotto.
1. You must claim your prize within 24 hours from
when I post your name as the winner!
Note: I post the daily winners on the thread, like a regular post.
What most people do is start at the last post and work your way back to find the current winner list.
I do not post the daily list here on the first post!
2. There will be NO begging others for items/gold/favors here!
PLEASE DO THIS IN THE CHARITY FORUM!
(Posts like this will get you banned from this lotto!)
3. Do not harass others in the lotto or you will be removed from the free lotto!
4. No complaining!
If you don't win as soon as you enter it should be no surprise!
It may take some time for you to win!
5. Chatting and word game play is allowed but please no spam!
(There is no need to bump, as this is a Sticky!)
6. Bad words are allowed in my thread. twisted
(But please respect the TOS when using them!)
7. Advertising your: shop/lotto/game/auction is allowed.
I only ask that you not claim that I approve of it, simply because I can't vouch for its integrity.
(If you wish for the free lotto to back you up or help you advertise PM me and we'll talk.)
*Other important information*
I will NOT PM the winners that they have won!
This would take all the fun out of the game!
Also I do not take kindly to people trying to trick me with fake winner's lists!
(Doing that will get your a** banned!)

Lotto Bouncers!
What is a lotto "Bouncer" you may ask?
Well it's a new job here at the lotto that can only be filled by special users!
To be more specific he/she needs to have no life and be willing to work for free!
Ok, ok.. So it's more than just that.
I must trust the person with my life (or I should say guild).
Currently the responsibilities of a Bouncer is as fallows:
1. Be nice enough to answer dumb questions people may ask about the lotto.
2. Delete posts that are unacceptable in the lotto.
(Such as "Bump!" "Will someone give me money/items" first post quotes and anything violating the TOS.)
They also will be responsible for PM'ing the offender to let them know nicely not to do it again.
3. Check in on the lotto signup thread for misplaced posts.
Being a lotto Bouncer means that you become a member of the crew in the guild.
A lotto Bouncer does not have jurisdiction over any other threads except The Free Lotto and Free lotto signup page.
(They do how ever have the right to delete any threads on the guild that violate the TOS.)
They may also delete posts for members when asked by the maker of the thread as well.
I would like you all to be nice to our bouncers please!

I'm starting a new lotto (in this lotto) for the winners list!
I shall call it "The Claimers List Lotto!"
This lotto is for all my CLAIMING winners!
Every month on the 27th day I will draw one name out of the winners list.
That person will win a donation letter for that month!
Winners of this lotto will be posted on the thread just like the regular winners.

*Word Game Rules*
Here at the free lotto we like to play this word association game for fun.
It helps pass the time between lottos. 3nodding
Here are the rules:
Someone says a word, and then you reply with the first word that comes into your mind from reading that word.
It looks something like this:
Dog --> Cat
The only rules are that you can't use pictures (just words or phrases), and you can't reply to your own word.
There are no prizes it's just for fun!
