I was shoked, but I shoundn't have been. It was obvious something was going to happen to him, eventually.

I wasn't too sad. I was never too fond of Joren.

I wasn't very sad because it was joren. I try no to hate death because it is inevitable and if you didn't like the person it is a lot easier. Plus I think the way he died was very fitting.
Edit: that sounds very cold but I don't know how to make it sound better

If I remember correctlly from my first reading of the series I'm pretty sure I cheered when Joren died. I had never like him and pretty sure I had imagined a hundred ways for him to die and so when he actually did it was fitting and he deserved it, so I can't complain. They so what goes around comes around.

rahimeh98 I was shoked, but I shoundn't have been. I know what you mean by the shocked thing. He was Joren; it kind of seemed weird that he wasn't in the story anymore. But I wasn't sad whatsoever. The Chamber gave him what was coming--I was just kind of hoping Kel would get to do it. twisted I do know that she wouldn't have, both of them being noble and all. It's one of those things you keep wishing for, but that little voice in the back of your head is telling you, "It's not going to happen, so get over it."

I was surprised, but not really sad. But when I really think about it, I feel a bit sorry for him. I mean, yeah, he was a moron and all that, but he was EIGHTEEN, and does an eighteen year old really deserve to DIE for being a moron? He's family certainly didn't deserve having such a young person taken away from them.
So, I wasn't sad, but I DO pity him.

When I read that part I put down my book. Stood up. And did a silly little happy dance.

Envase When I read that part I put down my book. Stood up. And did a silly little happy dance. I had a party with all of my scary chucky-looking teddybears. Then I beheaded them.

I'd like to say yes... but I never liked him. I was voting for him to die from the beginning. I was glad that Vinson didn't die though. The punishment from the chamber was pretty sick, but then so is what he did to those girls.

I agree,I was shocked, but not sad, I was thinking that eventually Kel would get mad at him and duel and kill him... I mean, it would have been satisfying... I also at the same time hoping Kel would kill him, didn't want him to get hurt because at 18 you really can't punish somebody for being a moron...
