For the past week or so, I've been playing Kingdom Hearts 2 whenever possible.
So the yesterday when my brother asked if I wanted to go for a few rounds on Smash, I said sure. But when I picked up the GC controller it felt foreign to me.
Anyways, I knocked him over the edge and as he was recovering, I went to wave dash backwards to edge hog and ended up air dodging over the side. xd Not only that, but there were other little things as well, like my short hops weren't short hopped. It felt wierd to have my Smash game screwed over after only 2 weeks of KH2.
I've had this happen before after not playing Smash Bros. for a few months, but it's only been two weeks! xd
Has anyone ever had a similar experience?

Actually yeah. A couple a months after I bought SSBM I bought Bloody Roar: Primal Fury and played that just as passionate as SSBM, then I suddenly started with SSBM again and it went horribly wrong, the button layout was so different that I pretty much forgotten how to use SSBM. But now I can play both games just as well whenever I want, and I made sure to never forget thow to play ever again.

Well its a muscle memory thing...If you do something like hm...wavedash a lot and quickly then well sleep your hands will build up muscle memory. They will be use to doing that over and over. Then you go and play like bloody roar, your hand is probably in a totally different position or the style of play is different and you play that with a passion like you have with SSBM well then your hand will get use to that and develope Im guessing new memory and will be more use to that then SSBM. Well you get what Im saying...

Smash has messed with the other games I play. I play Street fighter and end up trying to air dodge as I would in Smash, I play Castlevaina SotN and find myself trying to roll and dodge down.
