INTRODUCTION:This post is an introduction to this event's raid system, which will feature unique Roleplay/RNG mechanics to connect contests with the overall roleplay narrative. The rules will be explained in this account, followed by a bullet point summary. I recommend reading both the paragraph and the list, and referring to my initial post for guidance. If you need clarification, feel free to ping me on Discord in the general chat. Don't hesitate to ask questions, as others may have the same ones!
FIREWALL: This raid will be subject to a level 3 Firewall. Firewalls are a game mechanic that restricts digivolution in certain areas. To determine which Firewall is active, the first post of any roleplay forum will have red text indicating the current Firewall. Referring to the list below, you will find the following message: Firewall Level 3 is in effect: No Digimon can progress beyond the adult stage. This rule is implemented for the enjoyment of the entire guild, ensuring fair and enjoyable encounters. Now, let's dive into the event details!
ENCOUNTER BREAKDOWN: During this encounter, players will have the opportunity to choose one Digimon from their party to participate. Digimon partners at the adult stage will start with 50 hit points while partners at the child stage or lower will receive a total of 20 hit points. The boss, on the other hand, will be a perfect stage Digimon with a total of 300 hit points. Players need to keep track of their remaining hit points in their posts. Players are allowed to respond once per boss cycle, which in this case is once per day. To make it easier for players, I have specified the time when the boss will make a post in the bulleted rules section. Players should make preparations before that time. When responding to the boss's post, players are encouraged to engage in roleplay. It is worth noting that the boss will not mitigate this damage, so players can rely on their hits to land successfully.
DIGIVOLVING: Baby and Child level Digimon will start with 20 HP and use a lower value for their damage dice. Please reference the Dice Queue topic to see the changes in damage dice between stages. You may choose to digivolve in the battle as long as you are below the Firewall level limit. If you do so, increase your HP to the new limit and subtract any damage you have already taken. For example, if Agumon has taken 10 damage and is at 10 HP if it chooses to digivolve into Greymon its HP will change to 40 (50-10). xxx ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
DICE SYSTEM: In this event we will use a separate forum to keep track of the RNG portion of the event. Please refer to the instructions in that forum to learn how your dice rolls will impact the event. The boss will also be subject to the same rules. At the start of each days events, the boss will roll dice to determine hits and damage. In the boss's post each day the amount of damage being dealt to your Digimon will be noted. Please subtract that amount of damage from your Digimon's hit points. If you look at the boss's first post you can see it rolled less than 10 on the hit dice. That is considered a miss and 0 hit points of damage is dealt to the players this turn.
PLAYER KNOCK OUT: If the boss reduces your Digimon partner to 0 hit points, your Digimon will be knocked out. Any damage dealt to the boss with a roleplay response this turn will result in 0 damage. On your next turn, after the boss's post, you can reenter the battle with half of your starting hit points, or 25 hit points in this case. Simply include a sentence explaining how you healed your Digimon. Additionally, you can disregard the boss's damage for that turn. xxx ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
PRIZES: In this olympic themed event we will have a Gold, Silver, and Bronze prizing structure. Don't fret if you don't qualify, every tamer who joins will still receive a prize. PRIZE CLAIM & DONATION: At the end of the event I will call for players to claim their prizes. If you qualify for more than one prize we will award you the highest possible result. The player with the next closest result will be awarded a prize instead. For example, if you qualify for both the gold and silver prizes we will award you with the gold prize while the tamer with the next closest post to finishing off the boss will be awarded silver. xxx TLDR: ▪ The boss will respond once per day, at 12 PM Eastern Standard Time. ▪ When the boss is about to post a message indicating so will be submitted it will read INCOMING BOSS PHASE. Once this message is posted do not respond until you see the post BEGIN TAMER PHASE. ▪ Tamers may post one time per Boss post. ▪ Firewall Level 3 is in effect: No Digimon may progress past the adult stage. ▪ The boss Digimon has a total of 300 hit points. Once the boss's HP drops to 0, any tamer with 3 posts will be eligible for a participation prize. ▪ Tamers may participate with 1 Adult level or lower Digimon. Your Digimon will have a total of 50 hit points. Please keep track of your current HP in your post. ▪ Tamers will decide hits, damage, and healing in a separate dice rolling forum, as noted above. ▪ If your Digimon reaches 0 hit points on your turn your partner will rest for 1 turn. A joyful laugh echoed through the colosseum, capturing the attention of all participants. Jupitermon rose from its seat, waving both hands to summon everyone in the stadium. "Wonderful, truly wonderful," it declared, "Your efforts have delighted me." An electric energy crackled around the ultimate-level Digimon, accompanied by a rumbling sound of thunder. With a leap into the air, it proclaimed, "But watching is just so dull. Come, let’s see what you’ve mastered!" Fractal code began to swirl around Jupitermon, its wireframe texture twisting and reshaping into a smaller form. The new layer enveloped its lightning-charged digicore. In a brilliant flash, the Digimon shouted, "De-digivolve, Aegiochusmon!" What was once the golden Jupitermon transformed into a goat-like Digimon, gracefully descending toward the colosseum floor. As it approached, it chuckled mischievously, "Hehehehe, and I picked this up from those tricksters at Ugoku, Firewall Level 3 is now active!" With a clap of its hands, a barrier radiated from its body, encasing the entire stadium. Digimon would now be unable to advance beyond the adult stage for the upcoming battle.

Aegiochusmon descended onto the stadium floor with tremendous force, creating a noticeable crater in the dirt beneath it. Clenching its fists tightly, the goat-like Digimon began to harness its energy. A brilliant yellow aura ignited around its form, resembling flames dancing in the air. Sparks of lightning crackled within the aura, amplifying its formidable presence. Aegiochusmon shouted, "Don’t think I’ll let you have all the fun, urgh, and this!" Suddenly, the aura burst outward in a dazzling flash. As the light faded, Aegiochusmon transformed into a radiant golden figure. It was now adorned in gleaming golden armor, complete with a cape reminiscent of angelic wings. Each hand bore cog-like golden shields. It declared, "And this, urgh, is my holy form!" With that proclamation, its power surged once again, creating an overwhelming pressure that made the air feel as if it could crush anyone who dared to approach. The goat-like Digimon challenged, "No attack this time, come at me tamers! Can you break through my golden Aegis?"

Perilous battle, The savage boss approaches, Strategy is key.
Monami was stunned by the immense force that Aegiochusmon was unleashing upon her. The wind swirling through the stadium felt like a weapon all on its own. Realizing they would need to amplify their power to stand a chance against this formidable foe, she shouted, "Let’s show them what we’ve got, Digimodify!" With determination, Monami lowered her holographic visor and double-tapped her vital bracelet, activating a dark mode version of her client that enabled modification. Swiftly, she navigated the MOD menu, selecting the digivolution option and dragging it to her party menu. Her finger hovered over Kokuwamon before she tapped it. The screen lit up with the words, DIGIVOLUTION_. Kokuwamon acknowledged her with a nod as its digicore began to pulse with energy. The little mechanical Digimon envisioned its ultimate form, recalling the overwhelming power Kuwagamon had displayed in File Forest. The wireframe of the insect began to tear and reshape, transforming to reflect the newfound strength of its digicore. A vibrant red-orange carapace emerged, along with massive pincers and even larger wings. In place of Kokuwamon stood Kuwagamon, who let out a triumphant cry, "Kokuwamon digivolve to, Kuwagamon!" Monami couldn’t help but chuckle at the irony; the very Digimon that had once posed a significant challenge was now her ally. It was time to demonstrate her growth to the server. Kuwagamon reared back and unleashed a thunderous buzzing roar, the force of which seemed to stabilize the turbulent air around them, creating an opportunity to strike. "Shadow Slash!" Kuwagamon bellowed, swinging its arms and pincers, redirecting the oppressive air pressure back at Aegiochusmon in a flurry of slicing winds.

Lief had been resting in the bleachers after putting in some hard training when Jupitermon had started the next phase of his event. Biymon had been equal worn out but the training had been worth it as the new friends were feeling a strong bond already. The pair along with Jayzen watched as the Jupitermon changed to a less all powerful form to test the Tamers in the Arena.
Fawx jumped to her taloned feet feeling the adrenaline of an impending battle brewing. "Let's do this Lief! I want to show everyone what i can do. I need to prove it was a mistake to abandon me!!" Lief picked up the Digivce sitting next to him on the bench and stood by his pink friend. The green and gold device began to glow in his hand and he held it out toward Fawx who had also began to glow as 1's and 0's streamed from the device and incased her in a egg-like shape."Biyomon Digivolve toooooo...... Kaaaazemon!!!"
Lief jumped in excitement, the training had paid off, Fawx had been able to reach a new level like she had spoken of when they first met. Now it was time to turn their attention back to the true test. "Alright!!! Good job Fawx, now let's take down this goat freak!!" Kazemon agreed with a fist pump and flew off towards the golden Digimon as Lief hurried over to where some of the other tamers had started to gather. He was a bit surprised to see one of the girls seemed to be fighting along side a Kuwagamon, just like the one they had fought at the Coliseum not that long ago.
"Alright Fawx!! Hit 'em hard!!!" Kazemon, now in close proximity to Aegiochusmon, pulled her foot in tight to her hip, wing fluttering rapidly to hover in place,"Take this!! Roseo Temporale huh!!" The fairy Digimon aimed a barraige of kicks at the target followed by a final kick as she backflipped away from him. " Yeah nice connection!! we'll see how much of that he can take!!

Ethan and his Digimon after dealing with their own encounter with a Antylamon were witnessed the events back at the City, and decided to take on the challenges that the Olympians had thrown at them. So far, Ethan and his Digimon had been enjoying the little bouts with Soccer, Archery, throwing the Javalin... The group of Four was just having fun with it, he didnt know what the results were going to be in the end. But they were having fun...and then this happened.
The Sheer Force of Jupitermon crashing down as a Aegiochusmon caused the tamer to raise both of his hands to keep himself stable while also blocking any bits and pieces of rubble from coming charging at him. He gazed at the sudden appearence of a Firewall, and then looked to his Digimon and took a deep breath.
"Allright guys...Yall fought earlier... So its my turn okay? Dont worry.." He pushed a button on his Digivice, and his Digimon were placed inside of it temporarily. He looked to the Holy mode Digimon before him, and bit his lip. He looked to Monami and her Kuwagamon, which felt amusing since the first time they fought together was against a Kuwagamon, he then turned and looked at the other person he hadnt been introduced to yet. Or if he had, it was only during that one battle. Then back to the Digimon as his hand started to glow and he pushed it over his wrist mounted Digivice, 'Spirit...Evolution' His entire body began to glow and he gritted his teeth as his form changed.
Lowemon! He appeared, wearing a black set of armor with hints of gold and wielding a mixture between a staff, javalin, and a spear. He grinned under the helmet he was wearing, his green eyes alit as he charged forward, jumping and propelling himself forward with his spear, his foot raised. " Shadow Blade!" A Flying kick! One of the most basic a stereotypical attacks youd see in a Martial Arts movie.

Jeongmin and Tanemon had decided to head to the colosseum for a much needed change of pace. While Min didn't mind doing the events that the Olympos XII were hosting, her Tanemon had found them monotonous and tiresome. It was pretty obvious to Min too with Tanemon pouting and being more fidgety than usual. The little digimon wanted something more exciting to do!
As if on cue, Jupitermon was there to give the spark that the baby II-leveled digimon she was looking for! "But watching is just so dull. Come, let’s see what you’ve mastered!" As the giant ultimate-level digimon dedigivolved himself, Tanemon turned to face Jeongmin with pleading eyes. "Can I go fight too? Pretty please?" As much as she wanted to fight she didn't want to go against Min's wishes again. "... I don't see why not." The girl replied, surprised that her partner even asked permission in the first place. 'Wait... Partner?' Min didn't want to admit it, but the little plant digimon had already grown on her so much so that she didn't feel the need to contact the GM to ask why she got a different digimon than the one she had initially chosen.
No more frustrating attempts at trying to hit random targets on a tempermental unimon, no longer would she need to pick apples only to be penalized for not picking them right and she didn't even want to think about having to run around a giant soccer field with her stubby legs. It was now time for Tanemon to have some real fun! Nothing got the plant digimon more pumped than getting into a battle! As the little one grew more and more excited along with Min's blessing, her body and her tamer's digivice's screen began to glow. The body of light grew in size towering over the girl. When the light subsided a giant cactus with red boxing gloves and a tuff of hair was revealed. "Tanemon warp digivolve tooooo... TOGEMON!" Digivolution was nothing new to Jeongmin as she had played the beta, but it's always surprising to see such a cool transformation in person. Just as the newly digivolved togemon was to join the fray, she looked back to her tamer to get a second confirmation. Min simply nodded. She wasn't physically showing it, but she too was excited to fight. Togemon jumped in the battle and wasted no time going on the offensive. "Needle Spray!" The thorns on her body quickly shot in all directions, though she tried to aim them at the Aegiochusmon.

Paradox and black Agumon had just returned to the stands to sit and take a few minutes to rest from competing in the soccer matches before Jupitermon Rose to its feet and begin speaking. Watching has the Digimon takes on a new form and descends to the coliseum ground floor Paradox with rise from his seat walking to the edge rest In his hands on The rail guard. Black Agumon would rise up and jump onto the railing his eyes dead center on the new challenge before him, his eyes would glow and his body would start to change as data gathered around his form. "Finally something better then these petty games!" The small Digimon would say as it jumps from The rail guard his body exploding with energy. "Black Agumon digivolve to..." His body explodes with dark energy as it begins to change and grow, by the time he hits the ground his size has quadrupled and his form changed to be more muscular and opposing. His eyes gleamed through the dust and sand kicked up from his massive impact. What once was the smaller Dino was now a larger and more fearsome dinosaur and a deep voice bellowed out from the dinosaur. "...DARK TYRANOMON!" Paradox looked on in amazement as his partner was able to digivolve and get bigger. Seeing this for the very first time he assumed that black Agumon's fighting spirit and deep desire for battle is what triggered the evolution. Pulling his digivice from his pocket he looked at it as it had reacted to the surge of data which triggered the evolution. With the deep sigh he would leave off the rail guards of the stands landing on the back of the giant dinosaur it makes his way for the ground sliding down its back grabbing hold of its spines to guide himself before jumping and landing on the ground. "I can't lie that was cool as heck Agumon....ermm I mean Dark Tyranomon? I got to come up with a nickname later but for now...LETS CRUSH THAT GOAT!"
The large dinosaur bares it fangs and let's out a loud roar as it charges for the goat with rather impressive speed coming to a sliding stop it rotates its body around bringing the full momentum and force of it still around to strike at the goat Digimon. "IRON TAIL!" The Digimon would roar out as it started its assault of the opposing God before them.

Attacks rained down on Aegiochusmon from all sides. The immense weight of its aura seemed to have no effect on those brave enough to confront it. Signs of damage were becoming evident on its form; its once-impenetrable golden armor was now cracked, and its gear-like shields lay shattered on the ground. Aegiochusmon let out a chilling laugh, declaring, "It's time to shed this disguise." Red lightning surged from its body, and the brilliant gold that once adorned it began to fade into a deep black. What had appeared to be a noble presence now twisted into something sinister. Aegiochusmon announced, "...mode change too, dark mode!" In an explosive transformation, the perfect-level Digimon was enveloped in a swirling black and red aura. The air was filled with an eerie wailing, as if lost souls had joined the fray. Its wings darkened, and its body was cloaked in a shadowy fur. Blade-like scythes emerged from its forearms and back, while its eyes glowed a menacing red as it shouted, "Plasmadness!"

A surge of red lightning crackled between its hands, intensifying with every heartbeat. The wails of tormented spirits crescendoed, threatening to shatter the resolve of anyone nearby. With a sinister chuckle, Aegiochusmon exclaimed, "Hehehe, brace yourselves!" It forcefully clapped its palms together, unleashing a torrent of energy that radiated outward. The explosive wave enveloped Aegiochusmon and formed a dome, ensnaring its adversaries in the devastating blast. This time, there would be no way to evade the destruction.
Feeling the attack connect with the ultimate digimon's shield the and feeling it starts to break the Dark Tyranomon turns an attempt to attack with his large claws. As he's turning to get into attack position he notices the Digimon starting to change its form, quickly stepping back he narrows his eyes at his opponent as the form change finishes. Sensing an attack coming the large dinosaur Digimon quickly puts himself between the ultimate Digimon and his tamer as the attack launches out. Taking the blast of electricity with his claws up to try to block most of the damage he shakes off the electricity taking a moment to recover from the numbing sensation.

Kuwagamon's strike hit Aegiochusmon with precision. Monami recognized a mix of familiar and new faces in the chaos, including Ethan from the forest. Despite being attacked from five different angles, the perfect-level Digimon stood its ground. Instead of faltering, Aegiochusmon transformed, now appearing more formidable with a dark aura and crackling red lightning. Kuwagamon positioned itself protectively in front of Monami as a surge of lightning erupted around it, clearly indicating impending damage. For a brief moment, the insect Digimon paused, recalling its training. Taking a deep breath, it gathered its resolve, preparing to re-engage in battle. This brief moment of stillness seemed to help it recover from the earlier assault. The adult-level Digimon shook off the pain and readied itself to press on. Monami added, "Good work, Kuwagamon. I will ready a digimodify for our next attack!"
