For Sava it had been easy and her Wonder had readily accepted them despite the damage it had sustained from what had appeared to be some sort of storm. But Ein’s had a recent history of treating her like an unwelcome visitor with the door slammed shut and a lock slid into place leaving her trapped in Destiny City without a way to open it.
With Sava’s hands held carefully in her own, Einhornhöhle took a deep, steadying breath, to calm the nervousness swirling inside her before reciting her Oath. With each word, she hoped fervently that this time her request would not be in vein and the Code on the Moon would grant her aid as it had promised them so entry to her Wonder would finally be opened.
Ein’s eyes closed as warmth enveloped her, and instinctually her hands tightened around Sava’s, not wanting to set forth on this journey without her.
The cool stagnant air of Destiny City was replaced by an ocean breeze and the warmth of a risen sun against her back. Her weight shifted from one foot to the other and in doing so Einhornhöhle felt herself sink a bit into the fine sand. When finally she opened her eyes, she was greeted by the pristine blue water that rushed up onto the shore, stopping just shy of where they stood leaving a line of seafoam in the sand as it retreated away from them.
“I suppose my Wonder wants us to start looking for the code piece here.” She turned her attention to Sava and had to wonder if it was because she’d come that the journey would begin here rather than in the field of flowers or forest. Was Sava somehow connected to this her wonder, was that why with each visit, even before she’d become a Knight, they always arrived here?
