Hobbies: Surfing -- One does not simply be related to a Giordano and not know how to surf or be one with the water. Emili may have a different last name, but surfing is something that is literally in his blood. The beaches of Italy are like his second home and where he enjoys being the most. Now that he is abroad in the United States, he hopes his cousins can teach him where all the best spots are so he can get his practice in. Once his custom made surfboard comes in he will be hitting the beaches almost everyday to catch that magical wave.
Painting -- When he is not surfing, Emili loves to take time to just sit on a bench in the park and paint what is around him at the time. He has had an artistic thumb ever since he could remember. His home back in Italy is filled with all of the paintings he has created over the years from toddlerhood to adulthood. His mother wanted him to become a professional artist but Emili cited that it would be easier to be in a career where he could get work quicker so he could fund his painting hobby, rather than becoming the classic “starving artist”.
Virtues: Confident -- Anything you can do, Emili is sure he can do it better. Or at least that's the idea that he has when it comes to anything he hasn't done before. His confidence is off the charts and it does give him a certain air around him when he is near anyone. His confidence stems from the fact that he can in fact do anything he sets his mind to and if he can do it better than the last person he definitely will without any hesitation. This can cause him to come off as a bit cockier than most which he could be that way every once in a while. But it is through his confidence that Emiliano has excelled at his studies and hobbies and is able to make friends and flirt with anyone that he comes across.
Social -- Growing up in a big family meant that there was no such thing as being anti-social. Emili likes being around people, and will happily be the one to break the ice or an awkward silence. Parties are something he enjoys immensely and will go as long as he’s invited. Getting to know people, learning things about them and even sharing information about himself are when he has the most fun and is his best self.
Intelligent -- Emili was gifted with a pretty high intelligence, a trait that he tends to utilize quite often. His confidence only heightens this as it gives him the sense that he can learn anything he puts his mind to and excel at it in every possible way. There was a reason why he graduated from highschool early and it wasn't due to the fact that his parents decided to pay someone off or anything. He just learned better and adapted even faster. Having your favorite subject being chemistry at the age of fifteen rather than something a bit more simpler was another key part in him graduating about two years earlier than most. While Emili is intelligent he does not allow it to be the bulk of his personality.
Flaws: Flirty -- Because he knows he looks good, Emili tends to just openly flirt with just about anyone. He loves seeing the little blushes shy people make or the eyerolls from people who are not interested, it's all fun and games to him! This has had some drawbacks however where the person he is flirting with tends to think there is something more than just empty words behind what he is saying. At that point he has no choice but to let the person down easy or hard depending on how they react. The flirting doesn't stop when Emili is in a relationship either [which might explain why they don't last very long], leading up to a lot of angry significant others and a plea of “I can't help it” on his end. This is also the reason why he has stopped actively dating and has stuck mostly to flings for the past two years, he has better luck this way.
Possessive -- There are few things that Emili considers his, and it's because of this he tends to get a little feisty when it comes to sharing. This can bleed over to the people he dates, family members and even friends. There are rules when it comes to items that are his: You don't touch without asking and if you do, then god help you. When it comes to people, he does not like to share, but is aware that these are
humans not objects so if the person's attention is needed elsewhere or if they want to spend time with other people then he will begrudgingly allow it. It's not like he has a choice in the matter.
Vindictive -- That saying about god help you should you touch what Emiliano considers his? Yeah, this applies here. If his internal rules are broken then Emili will seek to get that person back in the most hurtful way possible. If he has been wronged, then bet your bottom dollar he's coming for ya. Either way, no matter what Emili will find a way to hurt the person that hurt and/or disrespect him, his loved ones and friends three times the amount of pain they gave him.
