When she got there she didn't see Emiliano’s car, but that didn't mean he wasnt there because there were a million cars. She sighed and shot him a text.

Emili looked at his texts and then remembered why with a grimace. Annie said that it would be ground zero for a ******** since apparently Rose was busy for a month or so helping Xander. This meant they were heading to the community pool instead of having a private one to themselves. Maybe he should ask Cass if he would be willing to put a pool in their backyard or something. It's not like the two terror toddlers couldn't swim. Why on Earth his cousin wanted more kids after Lu and Al is beyond him. At least the twins seemed pretty cool so far for being what? A couple weeks old? Or was it a couple of days? Either way, he was glad to be out the house once again.
A chime from his phone signaled Leah’s message.

I'm by the entrance to the building. I can see you from here. Did you want me to come to you?
Leah turned when she saw the message saying Emiliano could see her, frowning slightly not seeing him at first, but spotting him after a minute and waving at him with a smile. She hurried over to the front entrance, “I’m so ready to swim, though I dont understand why we didn’t go to one of the family pools … dont Rose and Damien have one and Xander too.”
She headed inside and went to pay for her admission, not really thinking about it. That was another thing as well … they wouldn't have to pay.
Emili waved back with a grin, waiting for her to come to him so they could both pay. “Well I originally thought we would go to Damien’s since it is the hot spot for us “young people”. But Annie said that it was ground zero for Damien releasing the blue balls hes had for a month. So that ruled out him which is disappointing. I wanted to play in the arcade.” After paying, Emili went to check out the pool and almost turned around. It was so crowded! Why couldn't they just go to Xanders or something? Sure he had his two toddlers, a baby, and two more kids, but it would be so worth it in the end to have the privacy.
Looking back at Leah, Emili had to keep from getting annoyed. “It's so crowded….Maybe we could talk to Xander once everyone gets here?”
Leah raised a brow at him and shook her head because she didn't really need to know what and really didn't want to get in that pool now if she was honest with herself. She wasnt bothered that much by the crowd, as she didn't grow up rich, so she shrugged when Emiliano said something about using Xander’s pool. She was fine with that, but she was fine with staying too.
“Lets find somewhere to put our things at least, I think we’ll be fine as long as we stir clear of the little kids.”
They would be able to play chicken or anything like that, but they could chill and have fun together. “Did your friends say where they were going to be here?”
Well…Maybe it wouldnt be too bad if they stayed away from the kids.
“Sure.” He was instantly looking when he found a spot that wasn't too far away from them. “We could have that corner over there. Should be big enough for everyone to have a seat and put down towels.” it wasn't that hard for him to walk over to claim the spot, looking down at his phone for a brief second. “Now actually.”
Ash was looking forward to meeting up with Emiliano outside of “work”. Apparently he had someone they all needed to meet so not only was she excited, but now she was extra curious. She arrived at the same time everyone else did, looking at Ever with a raised eyebrow as to why her sister wasn't here but then again, she would probably get bored or cause mischief. So maybe it was a good thing Hara was off doing her Hara thing for once. She did invite Bellamy to come with and got the okay so hopefully he would be arriving soon as well.
Not that she was looking forward to it or anything.
Annie wanted to drive on her own but figured she would let Ever take the reigns for once since thai wasn't a racing match or anything. Once they arrived, she was out of the car so fast it was scary. She already spotted Ash’s head of pink hair, looking to her boyfriend with excitement. “I cant ******** wait to see who Emili brought with him!! What if it's a girl?!” She faked a look of shock, not even surprised if it was. It's not like Emili wasn't good-looking or anything. She did hope that the person would be into cars like she was though.
Leah walked over to the spot and laid down her blanket before sitting one on the pool chairs in the spot. It was one of the good things about this pool, lots of chairs because it was inside. There were even bleachers on the otherside, as swimming events and lessons happened in the early hours of the day.
She put her bag on the ground and kicked off her flip flops folding her legs on the pool lounger and looking to Emiliano. “Oh good, we can get in the pool, soon then.”
Ever looked annoyed and it took a lot not to roll his eyes. He still didn't care for Emiliano very much, so he honestly didn't care who he brought with him. For him and Emiliano, this was forced proximity because they had to work together and everyone insisted they hang out.
“You know I still hate him right,” he said in Russian, something he was adamant about becoming fluent in so he practiced every chance he got. He wondered if it annoyed Damien that he was constantly using the man to practice. At least the little didn’t mind, though they didn't always understand him. He was learning and it was second nature to them.
“Come on let’s go inside.”
Bellamy was running a tiny bit behind, but that was because he hadn't bothered to fish out swim things for the summer and so he was running around the house bugging Holi to try to get her to help him find all the things. The end of this summer, he’d make sure not to toss things wherever. His swim shorts were no where to be found, but at least he found beach towels and slides.
He unfortunately had to go buy some shorts, so he was of course the last to arrive and he wasn't even pool ready. He texted Ash that he’d be there in a few minutes, he’d just slip into the locker room when he got there to change.
Emili still wasn't sure about the swimming part but decided to flop in the chair next to Leah. First thing he spotted was a pink head which signified Ash was here and he was sure the others would be right behind her. He gave a casual wave, to which Ash happily returned, quickly making her way over.
Ashley wasted no time making her way over to Emiliano, practically gasping at the sight of the girl right next to him. “Oh wow!” She was so stinking cute! Like….How did a brat like Emiliano manage to talk to a girl like that?! Flopping down at the chair on the otherside of the girl, Ashley turned to give her a grin. “Well hello Emili’s guest~ My name is Ashley but you can call me Ash if you’d like.” She did a greeting in French as well just to flex on Emili. She did see the text Bell gave and sent back a pouting emoji, followed by alright but you owe me~
Annie of course was still learning Russian, which made her give him a deadpan look. She did manage to partially understand. “I get that love, but he hasnt tried to off you ever since?” She tried to give a positive spin on it but she really hopped they could get along at some point. They were a team after all and Wither will happily put his boot up all their assess if they don't get with the program. She did managed to kiss him on the cheek, grabbing his hand while he started to walk into the building.
Leah looked over when Emiliano waved to see a girl with pretty pink hair walking over. She gave a wave when the girl sat down and front of herself and started laughing before smiling brightly. “How ironic … its nice to meet you Ash. I’m Ashleigh, but everyone calls me Leah. Definitely Ash and Leah will keep things from getting confusing.”
She looked to Emiliano confused when she greeted her in french, her eyes questioning. “You speak french too … I thought you just spoke the same languages as Cass.”
“Some consolation prize … he didn't try to kill you again since the last time he tried to kill you … you should be happy.” He rolled his eyes with a huff, but let it go when Annie kissed him on the cheek and resigned himself to trying to get along with the demon. She walked into the building with her and after they payed pointed out to Annie his sister and the demon.
“Hard to miss me and my siblings with our hair,” he said shaking his head and heading over to the pair.
“You're right, I only know what Cass knows…So….Russian, Italian and English.” He shook his head at Ash and rolled his eyes, “Ash over here is just trying to impress you.” which if he was honest, she was lucky in that aspect, only because a quick flash of irritation came over him at having to share Leah’s attention with any of his friends and he was tempted just to pull her close at that. Emiliano did not act on the urge and kept his hands to himself. Leah was not his and if anything they were just trying to get to know each other, and that was it. He waived back at Annie with a chuckle, knowing he didn't quite make it onto Ever’s good side. To be fair he did try to kill him……But that didn't mean he hated him anymore.
Still found it annoying that he was the one to get a sucker punch from Wither though.
Ashley chuckled and nodded her head in agreeance with Emiliano, “I only ever aim to please good sir and I can't help myself when there is a beautiful person around.” Of course she was telling the truth, her libido hasn't calmed at all, but having multiple study sessions with Belle has caused her to be less forward and just flirty in general. Leah looked like the type to have fun and she was all for it. The more of them the merrier. “I could teach you if you’d like Leah~” She spotted and heard Ever, pointing, “My little brother loves languages and can be the best teacher as well.”
Annie snorted at Ever’s comment, racing over to give Ash a hug, then turning to Leah “Hey! I'm Annie!” She gave her a bright smile, “Ordinarily we would be using my dad’s pool but I didn't want to scare you away. My brothers are with their uncle and mom and dad don't really get much time alone so…” She gave a sheepish grin and rubbed the back of her head. “Damien is my dad.”
Leah didn't respond to Emiliano’s saying Ash was trying to impress, though she ended up arching a brow at Ash’s statement and unconsciously moved closer to Emiliano. “Thanks,” she said before shaking her head at learning french. “I'm honestly not sure I can handle another language right now … there are so many already between my cousin, her husband and his brother. Its four languages between them and I can speak three, technically. I'm not all that fluent in spanish.”
She looked to Emilano, “dont tell Mercy … you’d think I'd be better at that than Italian … Maybe in the future though,” she ended to Ash.
Leah gave a wave to the energetic red head and tried not to frown, mostly because she knew who she was, even if she hadn’t met her. She has known Damien since she was a young teen, since Cass married her cousin. It's not like she never met Damien before …
“It's nice to meet you, Annie and it's quite alright … hopefully they aren't as bad as Mercy and Cass.”
Ever followed at a more sober pace, dropping down on the chair beside his sister and looking to Ashleigh. “I'm Everest,” he said, “yes like the mountain.”
He completely ignored Emiliano, flopping back onto the chair and barely leaving space for Ash to really maneuver, but that was what little brothers did. Annoy the s**t out of their siblings … or more for Ever at the moment take solace in his sister presence because Emiliano’s presence irritated him.
“I'm over this already, you know,” he said in french, speaking to his sister of course as she was the only one that would understand him.
That got a snort.
Emiliano made the zipping motion over his mouth, raising an eyebrow when Leah moved closer to him. Ash wasn't that bad was she? Either way it caused a grin to appear on his face. He would take the closer proximity, he was not going to complain. “What Mercy doesnt know won't hurt her.” He shuddered, “Yeah I'm sure no one is worse than Cass and Mercy.” The Giordano blood runs pretty hot [if Romeo was any example], so it was to be expected that Cass can't keep his hands to himself, but he didn't expect Mercy to be the same damned way.
There was a bit of a pout when Leah moved away but Ash figured she did freak her out a bit. She quickly scanned the crowd to see if she could spot Bell but of course he still wasn't here yet. Then there was Ever, being his annoying self whenever it suited him. She sighed and looked at her brother, responding in kind but not too loud. “I'm sure you are. You don't have to like him but at least be a bit more friendly?”
Annie tapped her chin in thought, “No? I don't know…But at least I'm not alone in the suffrage.” She looked at her boyfriend for a minute, then sighed. He was going to be stubborn today wasn't he? Hopefully Ash could make him come out of his shell a bit more or at least try to seem approachable. This thing with Emiliano was….Annoying. If only because Emiliano tried to kill Ever and now everything was going to be awkward. To be honest, Wither should've let her punch his face in a couple of times and maybe hit him in the throat, ya know, just so he could see how it feels.
But apparently you can't kill your teammates or break their adams apple.
Pity.
Leah frowned at Ever, “I wasnt going to ask …” She didn't bother to introduce herself, instead looking to Emiliano and saying in italian, “whats got his panties in a bunch … a** much …” She rolled her eyes, irritation bristling on her skin, this wasnt really going well, but she was nothing if not patient so he took a deep breath tried to brush it off.
Though he jumped when she opened her eyes because Ever was sitting up and looking right at her with a grin, spouting you speak Italian. She gave him a look that clearly said, you're a weirdo, but responded anyway, “... er yes, learned when I was about 10ish.”
Ever grinned before giving an apology in italian, the very little italian he knew. It was very basic, hi, bye, im sorry, excuse me, my name is, im american. It was certainly on his list of languages to learn, but he hadnt and still couldnt devote the time to it, as Russian was his focus and wasnt an easy language.
“Are you fluent? Can you teach me a bit some time?”
Clearly it didn't take much to make him happy and the prospect of learning a new language was enough to brighten his mood.
Bellamy shot a message to Ash saying he was here and changing real quick, but it wouldn't take more than a few minutes. He slipped into the changing room and quickly changed into his trunks and decided not to bother with the shirt, as he expected to be in the pool shortly. He stuffed the rest of his clothes into his drawstring and headed out looking around to find the group.
It wasn’t hard to spot Ash with all that pink hair and he was pretty sure that it was Ever, purple curly fro wild around his head. He walked up to Ash and tugged on her braids lightly to tip her head back and give her a spiderman kiss. Were they dating? No. Did he care? No. Was he going to screw her brains out tonight? Yes.
Emiliano couldn't just say he tried to kill the poor man a couple of weeks ago so he just settled for the shoulder shrug and replied back in Italian, “That's just Ever. You should meet his little sister, hes a bit more lively around her.” If only because Hara knew how to get under his skin and she was a gremlin. He almost started laughing at the instant change in Ever’s demeanor, and even more at Leah’s reaction. Yep, language nerd Ever has appeared. He leaned down to whisper in Leah’s ear, keeping with the italian, “Or, you could speak a language in front of him, that works too.” He may or may not have blown a bit on the shell of her ear after the whisper.
Ah yes, Leah made the mistake of speaking in a language her brother hasn't quite mastered yet.
Ash was nothing if entertained, covering her mouth to stifle her laughter. Really her brother was adorable with all his nerdiness, maybe a bit too eager but hopefully that wouldn't put Leah off. A chime from her phone and she was instantly looking at the message from Bell, trying to hide the goofy grin that was going to appear on her face. Were they dating? Nooooope. She did not care, and god was she about to just spend the night for “studying” again. Her father was probably catching on at this point since it would be the fourth night in a row but whatever.
She missed him coming around and almost squeaked at the light tug to her braids, looking up and then happily closing her eyes once she realized who it was, responding to the kiss. “Took you long enough. Trying to be fashionably late Mr Bell?” Ash scooted over on her chair and tried to be a bit nice to her brother, gently trying to push him over to make room.
Annie did see Bell and decided it was time to find a way to distract Ever so Ash could have her seat to herself. Trying not to giggle at her boyfriend's adorable and nerdy behavior, she moved to sit behind him, placing her chin on his head and wrapping her arms around his shoulders. “Language later. Swim yeah?” She tried speaking in Russian, she was still learning and winced when she thought it sounded terrible. Her father would be laughing on the floor if he heard that.
Leah had to suppress the shiver than ran down her spine, giving a cough and clearing her throat. It took everything in her not to glare at Emiliano. She looked to Ever, “wouldnt it make more sense to learn from the friend who was born and raised in Italy.”
She raised a brow and motioned to Emiliano, “besides, he speaks Russian too … far more interesting than my Italian and broken Spanish.” She almost laughed at the pained, but intrigued expression on Ever’s face like he was waging war with himself.
“Every man for himself or herself,” she said to Emiliano with a smirk.
Leah was right, Ever was at war because he hated Emiliano, but also another person to practice russian with would be nice. He relaxed into his girlfriend when she sat behind him, but was glad she couldnt see his full expression, because it was a pained expression at the awkward pronunciation. He at least didn't laugh instead nodding, even though language was far more interesting than swimming.
He looked to his sister and Bell, “you done trying to eat my sister’s face … yeah, lets swim.”
Bellamy looked over to Ever standing back up straight and arching a brow at him, but he shrugged and looked over the group. “I'm the only one fully swim ready … or do you all intend to swim with half your clothes on.”
Bellamy wasnt the least bit bothered by Ever, and certainly wasnt going to let little brother antics ruin his good time. “Well ….,” he said expectantly.
Ash snorted and got to her feet, taking off her shawl? Coat? Robe? She really didn't know at this point. It came with the fit and made her look amazing and that was all that mattered really. She placed whatever the thing was on the chair and walked past Bell and Ever to get in the pool, slipping in while holding onto the edge. “Welp I'm in so…” He couldn't fuss at her and hopefully everyone else would follow.
Annie let go of Ever to join Ash in the pool, leaping in with a “wheee”, splashing her on purpose. The gasp the older girl made was well worth it. She came up with a grin, “Gotta As---Hey!” She was not expecting the wave splash that came back at her. “Oh it's on pinkie!”
Emili rolled his eyes at the look Ever sported, sighing and getting up to discard his shirt so he could swim. He would apologize to the dude later…Right now it seemed like Annie started a splash war and he wanted to participate while the pool was less crowded. He slipped into the pool silently and ducked under water while Ash and Annie were distracted, popping right up behind Ash [he was sure Annie would punch him and he did not want to deal with a bloody nose], tickling her sides. The girly squeak was so hilarious that he almost fell completely underwater laughing. He was not expecting that reaction at all.
Leah gave Emili a look of exasperation at the antics of the group because they definitely weren’t like her and Abby. She didn't think she’d ever even really fought with the other and this lot were not exactly what one would call nice to one another. Still she shrugged and pulled of her shorts, putting them neatly on the chair.
She hopped in, instead of jumping in because while her suit fit, she didn't want to risk a swimsuit malfunction. She frowned as she was splashed in the face almost immediately, making her expression go from happy to less than pleased.
Ever rolled his eyes at Bellamy and pulled his shirt off, smirking when Annie jumped into the pool without a care. The started a splashwar and they new girl got caught in it and didn't exactly look to happy about it, but his attention was pulled to his sisters undignified squeak.
“Really Ash, you sound like an animal squeaking like that.”
He shocked his head and jumped into the pool, right next to Annie and Ash, making a huge splash.
Bellamy hopped into the pool, going under and watching Emili mess with Ash, he smirked and popped back up from under the water to take a breath before signaling to who’d falling under the water laughing to grab one of the girl to toss. He smirked and gave the thumbs up to the other before moving swimming toward Ash.
He grabbed her under the water and popped up, lifting her straight out of the water and tossing her with a laugh.
Ash narrowed her eyes at her brother then splashed Emiliano in the face. “It's not my ******** fault he caught me by surprise! I'm sorry I couldn't sound less like an animal Ever.” Before she could exact her revenge on Annie, she felt gravity shift one moment, her body was rising and-- “Beeeellllleeeeaammmmmyyyyyyyyy!!!” was the only thing she could manage to say as she briefly flew in the air and landed a** first into the water. Her bottom hit the floor of the pool and she stood up, sputtering and wiping water from her face. “Really?!” She gave him a grin and dove under the water to get closer to him.
Annie hopped onto Ever’s back wrapping her legs around his waist, “Ha! Gotcha! Let’s ride like the wind Ever!” She pointed forward, hopping he would just swim with her on his back [it's not like she really weighed much anyway]. “Go go go!”
Emili tried not to laugh at Leah looking less than pleased, swimming up to her and lightly splashing her. “Oh…Looking a bit pouty there Leah~” He gave her a grin and leaned in close, “Would you like me to fix that?” He made sure to keep his voice low enough so only they could hear, raising an eyebrow.
Leah looked to Emiliano and shrugged, “just wasnt ready to be completely drenched, but that’s that nature of getting in the pool. It was a risk … one I was well aware of.” She raised an eyebrow at his next words, “... and how exactly do you intend to fix it, huh, Emiliano?”
She looked over to the others and tried not to laugh at Ash being flung and basically pool dunked. She was smirked amused before turning her eyes back to Emiliano.
Ever shook his head at girlfriend and decided to be an a** and promptly started sinking with her on his back. There were both going under where she liked it or not. He was hold onto her legs and trying not laugh as he dramatically said, “so weak … muscles failing … goodbye cruel world.” He tipped back with a grin to dunk Annie first.
Bellamy was laughing when Ash came back up and smirked when she said really, shrugging and watching her swim over to him. He wasnt worried and was sure he could take whatever she chose to dish out, instead he turned looking to Ever and Annie, the former of which he chose to throw next. He didn't even wait for Ever to resurface before grabbing him and tossing him into the air. His surprised and then angry expression was priceless.
Ash swam towards Bell, wrapping her arms around his legs and lifting with a bit of difficulty, tossing him ALMOST the way he tossed her. “H-Hah!” She did laugh at her brother though, gasping when some water from Annies surprise splash. Coughing ensued before she practically leaped at the red head with the intent to dunk her under the water.
“E-Ever noo! Wait!” She couldn't really move [Ever was a lot stronger than most give him credit for], and only had seconds to take a breath before she was dunked in. Next thing, Bellamy had grabbed Ever and tossed him into the water, which caused her to crack up. The look in her boyfriend's eyes spoke of revenge but at least she got her entertainment. Now in hindsight she probably should've given Ash a break but she couldn't help herself. The water got into Ash’s mouth….Well s**t.
Annie started moving as fast as she could, “Ever your sisters trying to kill me hallllppppp!”
Well to be honest he could think of a lot of ways to fix that pout. BUT since they were in PUBLIC and there were KIDS around…He supposed he had to try for something more PG related. Next time they were going to Damiens or Xanders…..Ugh. “Welllll” He leaned down to whisper some things in her ear that no one should really hear at all, giving her a small kiss just on the underside of her neck. Sure they could be splashing but to be honest Leah looked like a snack that he wanted to part take in at the moment. So he would indulge.
Leah’s whole face turned very red at the things that Emili whispered and she looked at him a little wide eyed, the small kiss eliciting a small squeak from her before she gave a nervous giggle. “None of that is appropriate for the pool,” she said quickly before splashing him and moving to go after Annie and Ash, who she owned for splashing her. She looked over her shoulder at Emili and gave a smirk before making her way over to Ash and grabbing her leg to pull her under.
Bellamy saw whatever transpired between Leah and Emili and moved over to him, his expression questioning. “What did you say to her … her face was so red and she booked it..” He chuckled, not really worried about revenge for Ever when Annie was calling for him to help her.
He looked over to Leah who was now trying to get Annie as well, she was quite a looker, but his eyes drifted back to Ash and he stuck his tongue out at her.
Ever wasn't too happy about getting tossed and fully intended to get Bellamy back, though first he needed to help Annie. Annie was a little loud in her attempts to escape Ash and now Leah and people near them were giving them the side eyes. Though that could be all the splashing … Either way he gave the nearest couple the middle finger and moved to grab and toss Leah, grinning at her little shriek of surprise.
