Inali
Race: 1/2 Lightning 1/4 Leaf 1/4 Oban Gender: Female Class: N/A Significant Other: N/A Physical Description: A taller teen who will grow up to be a bit curvier with muscle from helping out with bakery errands and constantly fighting with any bullies.
Personality: Inali is blunt, bold and ready to punch anyone in the face who even dares try to tease her. Battles of wit are not her strongest point since she would rather just fight out any disagreements, always speaking her mind regardless of who is involved and she's especially lacking in patience for waiting out any situation. She adores her family and loves to help them out, hence why she's always volunteering for errands since she also hates sitting still. Inali isn't certain what she wants for the future, for now she's just content spending time with her loved ones and protecting her twin brother from any bullies.
Notes: While Eyvin is a natural story teller, Inali is actually a great listener as long as one can get her involved in a tale. One of the few things to make her sit still, other than helping to pick out flavors in the bakery or colors for her mother's projects, is telling a good story which will get you Inali's full attention. She adores adventure and fairy-tales the most, scorning romance but enjoying the action of it all.
She is surprisingly talented once you get past the explosive temper, the girl picking up certain tasks and such easily though she does not typically enjoy things where you have to sit and ponder...word-puzzles, number games, math homework and the like are not her favorite things to do. Deciding on colors for patterns and flavors are an exception since she can physically interact with such things by grabbing various colored materials and spices to try out while considering the options. As long as she can physically interact with something to keep her from fidgeting then there's a chance of success, otherwise good luck!
Likes Most baked goods, apple things especially, spiced drinks like chai or ciders, running errands, listening to stories, playing pretend, dressing up and physical challenges.
Dislikes Sour things, sitting still, bullies, math homework and being bored.
History: The daughter of Aurick and Harika, the girl has been raised with love in Belrea. The family lives in a townhouse that needed some TLC while Inali was growing up, but it has come along thanks to her parents' hard work and dedication. Being the daughter of a seamstress and baker has, in her opinion, given her the best things since she can enjoy treats whenever while also getting beautiful clothing and costumes designed by her own mother. Her father's family is also adored by the girl who looks forward to their yearly autumn visits to the family farm thanks to the harvest season.

Inali's Resolve
Inali knew that she could be a bit rambunctious when it came to certain things, well most things, but she could not stand letting others get away with their teasing and bullying! The youngling was once again facing off against a pair of lightning boys in the school courtyard, the girl having picked up a stuffed bear to smack at the boys who had said very rude things about her brother and his changes in appearance. So what if they had changed because of some strange pollen? It did not mean that they were no longer their family’s children and such! Eyvin was still her adorable brother and nothing would change that, colors or no! The girl huffed as she swung the bear out towards the lightning boys, the cute plushie suddenly a dangerous weapon in the hands of the very angry youngling. “Say it again, I dare ya!” She chimed out, actually giving them a few seconds before stepping forward even as they continued stepping back and dodging her wild and erratic swings of the bear. There was an autumn festival happening at the school soon but poor Eyvin hadn’t even come to classes for the past few days because of these big, dumb bullies! All Inali wanted to do was be in the same classroom as Eyvin so that she could complain about sitting still while he hopefully shared some fun stories with her or passed notes while the teacher continued blabbing on and on. Then they could both be super excited about the festival coming up, helping the class prepare their stall for the event while the others in school got the decorations and such prepared Inali’s favorite season. Autumn was absolutely the best, her mama and papa always did amazing decorations back home for it and Inali loved seeing her mother’s costumes for the season. Ever since the pollen incident their mother had noticed how both Inali and Eyvin were disappointed with the changes, not feeling like they were as connected to the family now that they looked so different, and so the family had been spending most evenings with fairy-tales and such which talked about adventures and the changes the characters had along the way. Even Inali was not so thick headed to ignore the lessons of the stories, hoping that such things could cheer up her brother as well. She was mostly invested in the whole adventuring aspect, getting excited over the hunters and knights who fought to save the day, and her mood about the pollen changing them was quickly forgotten about by the girl who lived more for the present than wanting to linger in the past. If they couldn’t change it then why worry as much, right? At least that was how she reasoned things, not wanting to be a depressed potato like others over something that had already happened. If she could find a way to turn back time then maybe she would have kept her family from going out that week, sealing the doors and such to prevent such changes, but even Inali knew that was just a fantasy idea since the past was already done with and there was no magic that she had to change it. What she could fight against, however, was the rude tone of the bullies that wanted to keep mocking them for such changes! So Inali continued thrashing them, the girl always chasing them around with various things like the stuff bear or her own fists, and often she would end up in the office waiting on parents with the other younglings who were sporting a series of scrapes and bruises thanks to her actions against their teasing. It would result in another lecture, another detention after school and more errands around the bakery and such to help ease her guilt of causing her parents’ problems, but at the end of the day the girl didn’t regret it. She would much rather have other younglings avoid her than think that it was going to be fine to bully her and her brother! Being stuck in a room for an hour though was awful and that much Inali did hate. Bruises would fade and such, but she couldn’t get back the time wasted just sitting at a desk and writing apology notes or doing homework. Mostly homework since the teachers realized any apology notes from Inali just became lectures towards the other younglings, her written words reinforcing how bullying would result in more punishment since heroes didn’t lie with words like sorry especially if they didn’t feel that way.
Sorry if your bullying resulted in me taking action. I have no regret in punishing bad guys, but I am sorry you decided to start a fight since you paid for it. Inali had turned in the first apology letter and then been sent right back as the teacher let out a soft sight, the poor lightning woman giving up as her rebellious student once again focused more on homework and less on apologizing to play nice with others. None of the following notes had ever gotten better than the first one, the girl refusing to budge on her position against bullying. How could she play nice with those that were just so incredibly mean and hurtful to others? And today was no different as Inali watched the boys scatter, deciding not to deal with the crazy hybrid girl and the bear that she had borrowed from another girl who was spectating. “Talk about saying rude things and then not even being brave enough to face their punishment.” She mused before turning back to hand the geian girl back her bear. “Thank you for Snuggle’s help.”
The girl beamed towards Inali, the petite youngling with pale green pigtails actually idolizing the feisty hybrid who stood up against the bullies. “Anytime! It’s better for Snuggles to swing around a bit than for anyone to listen to them with their stupid jokes.” She made a face, sticking her tongue out at the retreating backs of the bullies. “Since the teacher didn’t catch you guys today, what are you doing after school, Inali? Calhoun and Mata are having a party for their shared birthday. Do you wanna come? ” Despite getting into fights and being known as a wildcard most of the other students were okay with Inali, especially since she brought really tasty pastries to school on occasion and shared them. Though Zoelle was the one who often invited Inali to things, the youngling not afraid of her schoolmate like some of the others. Plus it helped that Calhoun and Mata were her twin cousins, the girl knowing that she would be okay inviting someone to attend with her. How could she not invite Inali? Inali had stood up for Zoelle and others multiple times, eager to fight against who wanted to bully the smaller girl that preferred books to physical activities.
Inali huffed. “You act like I always get detention.” She protested, even though it did feel true lately considering all the fights she had been dealing with since the teasing had only gotten worse after their changes. Poor Eyvin was constantly sick from it all! How could she just stand still while those jerks made him feel so bad? She frowned at the thought before shaking her head. “I don’t know if I feel like going to a party today though, Zoelle. I promised to help run some errands for my Papa. They’re making lots of treats for the season. I think the school is ordering some for the booths too.” Hopefully that would include some of those apple tarts that she loved! Either way it didn’t give her time to attend a party, not that she would go to one without asking her parents first. They were just too busy for that. Inali nodded at the thought before reaching out to pat Zoelle’s shoulder. “Thank you though. Maybe next time.”
“Alright.” Zoelle pursed her lips into a pout but she also understood since she had witnessed Inali helping out in the bakery before. Her family liked going there weekly for fresh bread and such after all. So it wasn’t as if her friend was just making an excuse. Though that did have her wondering…”If you are going to the festival do you know what your family is doing this year?” They always came dressed to impress! She loved seeing what Inali wore, the girl sporting a ghostly appearance last year for some spooky fun.
“It’s supposed to be a secret, but I can give you a hint.” She teased with a smirk towards her friend. “We’ve been reading a lot of fairy-tales, so maybe my Mama will be inspired by those this year.” She winked playfully before raising a hand in farewell. “I should get going though. Have a good night, Zoelle!” The youngling called out, running home as the sun started to sink in the sky since autumn had shortened the days and brought a much welcome chill to the air that Inali adored. She just hoped that Eyvin could enjoy the autumn this year just as much despite everything. Here’s hoping Mama can work her magic again!
