Sailor Moira
]Basic White Moon Senshi

MOOD: Suddenly very curious
ACTION: Talking to Meissa and Fantasia while walking over to Fanny, Itztenoch, and Nessaela.

Moira nodded and pulled herself away from Meissa. She wiped at her fuku where she had moistened with her tears whispering her apology. She

"Oh... while coffee with you does sound lovely... it's not that. I could have had it and still would have lost it. I just... I just want to go home." There was a beat then, while Moira seemed to be considering something, and then she plastered a smile that did not reach her eyes onto her face. "But you're right. Breaking down won't get us home. And you're also right that this place is... very interesting." She finally looked around for the first time. The place was... beautiful to say the least. Haunting as well.

Had Moira opted to come here, she might have enjoyed it.

Looking around she noticed a bit of a commotion away from the Squire attacking the aliens. Another alien seemed to be working with a robot and Moira noticed something distinct about it. Well, not so much noticed but... felt...

"Meissa... that... that robot..."

"I feel it too," Fantasia confirmed, hopping off of Moira's shoulders. "Shall we investigate?"

Moira considered the cat and the robot for a long moment before she nodded. She took Meissa's hand gently and led her and Fantasia towards the robot and the aliens.

"Excuse me," she said softly. "Do you know this robot?"

Fantasia
Order Mauvian

MOOD: Also interested
ACTION: Trying to protect Moira and now Meissa

Fantasia's purring soon became genuine to some degree with Meissa's scratching. It became even more genuine when Meissa succeeded in calming Moira down. Fantasia had to agree with both of them. This place was interesting. It felt almost... impossible. A floating island under a magical dome in space. But then again... most things in Fantasia's life have felt impossible since she "came to" in that shelter.

"Meissa... that... that robot..." Moira's voice suddenly cut through her wondering. She followed the line of Moira's finger and saw the small robot currently communing with the two aliens. In that moment, Fantasia felt that familiar tugging sensation, pulling her towards that robot.

"I feel it too," Fantasia confirmed, hopping off of Moira's shoulders. "Shall we investigate?"

Moira nodded and led the way, with Fantasia taking up the tail. Upon arrival, she let Moira speak with the aliens while she investigated the robot. She sniffed it gently, causing another jump from the mechanism as the hose, previously placed so carefully in the body cavity, to spring back out. the robot tucked it back away and turned it's attention to the cat, it's screen displaying eyes wide with curiosity.

Fanny
gardn-R, Personal Home Farm Equipment

MOOD: Curious
ACTION: Investigating Fantasia

Fanny jumped slightly when Nessaela grabbed a hold of them, eight spider legs scrambling in the air before they were set back down on something solid. They were trembling slightly, frightened eyes shifting one way and then the other before settling on Nessaela, her offering, and finally, the tools that Fanny had launched from their body cavity in their excitement.

Cautiously, with a blush spready across their screen, they began taking tools one at a time and packing them back in carefully. After a short moment, they began beeping again, at first cautiously, and then with increasing excitement. While Nessaela would never understand what Fanny was trying to say, it was clear by the fading blush and the happiness in the eyes on her screen that she was coming back out of her sudden shell.

At the mention of fixing their hatch, however, the beeping stopped and the eyes went wide with surprise. It would seem that Fanny had never considered that possibility. It had just... always happened when they got too excited. A moment later, their eyes were shut tight in an invisible smile and she nodded her body cavity in agreement.

And then they felt something wet on her side. They jumped again, their hose springing back out in that surprise, and noticed another organic at her side. This one looked very different that the bipedal organics. And she was sniffing Fanny. They packed their hose away carefully and turned their attention to the other, quadrupedal organic, just as curious as she was.

Botein
Senshi of Amulets

MOOD: Sad, like a puppy who had just been kicked
ACTION: Meeting up with Meissa, Moira, & Fantasia

She hadn't touched them, had given them space to be aware that there was another person there, and then... they yelled at her. They cursed at her! Honestly Botein was more hurt from being cursed at then yelled at. That kind of language was just not needed at all let alone directed at her. It hurt, a lot. She didn't like it at all, but there was also nothing she could do about it since the person just up and ran away. They needed help but the turned it down. Sadly there wasn't anything more she could do about it.

Yes she could have chased after them but honestly Botein didn't want to be cursed at again, and besides they turned down the offer of help. Forcing help on them is just rude.

With a sigh and a shake of her head the senshi turned away from the direction the darkly clothed person ran off to, she just hopped they didn't get into any further trouble. Botein faced the larger cluster of people, and now robots, and decided that maybe sticking with familiar faces would be for the best.

It took a few moments but she finally found the duo and made her way over, only to find that the duo was a trio since there was a cat there too, and they were talking to others too. Maybe they wouldn't want her there just like the person from before... "Um, hi?" She said quietly, her normal bubbly self nowhere to be seen. She really was quite out of her depth at that moment.

Itztenoch
Vanguard Cadet

MOOD: Coming to his senses.
ACTION: Eying the ever growing crowd of new 'friends'.

There was a familiar children's nursery rhyme that came to mind for all of this, though actually? It was far closer to a whole book than a rhyme, where the pictures grew larger and larger still as the elderly farmer-type woman continued to swallow more and more creatures in order to chase out what ailed her.

Spiders to chase flies, dogs to catch cats, horses to catch cows; to a prevailing chorus of 'perhaps she'll die!' Until she had become dead. Children's rhymes were always the most wonderfully informative things!

Tenochs mind whirred with a the memory of sitting down to read it once in the corner of a dusty library after-dark. It was the only thing he could seem to think of, as the designated host showed itself; speaking of ships and mythical cities. Because much like most nursery rhymes? Astraya was a myth. They were being played...

He just didn't know how, and he quickly forgot to ask once he felt Nessa stop in front of him. Spotting One Senshi, Another, A Cat, Another, A spiderlike contraption with a boxy body and softly blushing face....then the crowd grew...leaving Tenoch to haul on the breaks as nearly slammed into Nessa from behind as he realized they were center mass of curios onlookers lobbing questions; if he twisted round he could still see their team, huddled pack of safety paces and paces back. Vyn and Aliez had them, everything was under control, they'd be fine. Paired up as he and Nessa were? Maybe they could bring something valuable back info wise. So long as everyone seemed to remain friendly.

"Hello..." offered in order to acknowledge the tentative 'hi' from the brightly colored one, watching as Nessa worked her magic with the creature that'd curled nearly catlike into her embrace in order to be fixed. She was concentrating on her task, clearly, so it was fine if he answered "The designated host called this one 'Fanny', though we haven't been properly introduced. Nessa is simply being helpful...."

Sailor Meissa
Senshi of Bobcats

MOOD: Hesitant
ACTION: Observing the Vanguardian Members in the group. Greeting Botein.

There was a lot of things that could go wrong while stranded in space among those that would be considered mostly strangers. That being the case it was nice to be able to put names to faces. Meissa hung back as Fantasia and Moira seemed to almost have a sense of familiarity with the robot that had lost most of it's tools that had been hidden inside. But before it could do much besides try to hide one of the aliens from the hill battle had picked it up and was systematically handing the tools back to the automaton.

Realizing that it wasn't her place to possible interrupt, even as Fantasia nudged the robot's side did the senshi of bobcats turn her attention to the two aliens before hearing a greeting from another senshi. Meissa gave a small wave to yet another familiar face before finding a good size rock to either lean against or sit down on, she hadn't quite decided yet. Instead of remaining silent though Meissa called over to Botein, "We meet again. At least it's not in a desert this time."

Botein

Nessaela
Vanguardian Cadet

MOOD: Slightly uncomfortable
ACTION: Letting go of Fanny

Nessaela watched as more people approached her location where she sat with the newly named Fanny before allowing the machine go. If it wanted to continue to mingle Nessaela would consider ways that she could possibly keep that compartment hatch closed. As some senshi drew nearer the cadet heard and saw Itztenoch draw closer and she glanced up to meet his gaze. Being the center of attention was not ideally a comfortable position and the cadet gave an nervous sound before hearing Tenoch grace the small gathering her name, or at least a shortened version of it. She stood up before trying to initiate the complex greeting rituals that humans had. That meant holding out ones hand and waiting to see if a handshake would be exchanged. Her voice was soft before growing a little in volume, "As my friend mentioned, I'm Nessa. Pleased to meet you," ... and it was a pleasure, wasn't it? If it weren't for being stuck on this mysterious floating space rock that the tin man had called Astraya. But that couldn't feasibly be, could it?

Sailor Moira
]Basic White Moon Senshi

Recognition flashed across Moira's face as Botein approached. She gave her a happy little wave and a welcoming smile, happy to see her old friend. Wait, could she call her that? They'd only known one another for a short time and in circumstances very similar to this one... That being said fighting for your life together seemed like qualifications for friendship to Moira.

Maybe this was a train of thought and a conversation to later...

"Botein," she greeted warmly, holding out a hand to the other senshi. "It's good to see you again, even if I wish it was on earth..."

The pastel being speaking drew Moira's attention back.

"Fanny..." Moira repeated curiously. The name didn't trigger a memory but... something else did. She saw... something. Like a ripple in a pond. She pressed the heel of her hand into one of her eyes, as though fighting a headache, and groaned.

"I don't... recognize that name but..."

"But it seems familiar," Fantasia agreed, her green eyes regarding Moira with seriousness. Another flash of recognition that made Moira shut both of her eyes in concentration.

"I'm... Moira," she finally offered to the pastel beings as well as the robot in one of their arms. She took Nessa's hand and shook it, and then extended it to the other pastel being.

"If you don't mind me asking... where exactly are you from? I haven't seem anything like you before..."

Fantasia
Order Mauvian

Another senshi approached that Moira seemed to recognize, and so Fantasia left her to her greetings. It wasn't until Moira directed her attention back to the robot that Fantasia listened back in.

"I don't... recognize that name but..." Moira began, but trailed off, seeming to be in pain. Fantasia was familiar with the sensation, having felt that same tugging familiarity for the better part of a month. In fact, that tugging had only gone away about ten minutes ago, when she'd finally found the Moira that had been plaguing her thoughts like an intrusive idea since she'd gained this new sentience.

"But it seems familiar," Fantasia agreed, watching Moira closely. Something sparked in the girls eyes then, a look that Fantasia recognized as well, but then it was gone. Fantasia shook her head to clear her thoughts and glanced once at Fanny before leaping up to Meissa's shoulders.

"And I'm Fantasia," she introduced herself once Moira was done, purring from her perch. "It's a pleasure to meet you both. Well, you all, actually." She laughed, trying to inject some levity to the situation, but the sound trailed off awkwardly, ending in a clearing of her throat.

Fanny
gardn-R, Personal Home Farm Equipment

The organics were clasping hands... and then wiggling those clasped hands up and down. Was that... was that something they all did? Fanny stuck out one of their little legs to be taken, wiggling it enticingly at the other pastel organic, as though that might ingratiate her to them. As this ritual part of the trial they were all supposedly done with? Were they done with it at all? Questions raced through her mind as she listened to the exchange.

Itztenoch
Vanguard Cadet

MOOD: Twitchy, but trying his best!
ACTION: Is observing an action? Making friends?

His initial reaction to seeing Nessalea so easily interact with the others, was wide eyed surprise, and a swift bolstering guard at her back. The way his hand twitched to grasp her shoulder as his gaze landed firmly on the hand ‘shakee’ - the one designating herself as Moira - because he wasn’t paranoid! No, it was fine. All normal things that were happening on a mythical rock that should’ve only existed in fairy tales and children's songs. Totally, completely, fine…

Nessa's hand stayed attached. So he took up Moira's proffered shake in stride, struck by the winding nature of the branch decor round her bodice, and the fact that she seemed to pause every so often while finding her words. He supposed it made sense. Once upon a time he could've parroted the same thing back to her -- for how unknown human forms were so many months ago.

“Tenoch, and we’re of the Vanguard from Velencya,” trying to tone his terseness down about three pegs while finding some commonality with them. He could agree with Moira, that Earth would’ve been worth being on right then. Even if exploration of the dead-world and its robot society held some mild interest. Even if Earth wasn’t his preferred home to return too, the sentiment was understandable, and the roots crawling up her leg were — definitely a thing, “and it is good to meet you all. So long as things stay – ah – what is it? Platonic?”

He shrugged in search of the word. Let it all die in a sigh while his gaze shifted, cat print, to cat, to cat that was a robotic box to — “And you too..” he left room wide for the introduction of the peacock colored senshi. They all made quite the troupe, the White Moon. The Negaverse held such a neutrality in his mind that mixing sides meant nothing. Especially not now, when getting answers of their tiny boxy friend seemed most important.

Someday? He’d have to simply get along with them. Earth wasn’t going anywhere soon. His lifespan outbid their own by quite some time. What could it hurt to suck it up and actually *try* for once to make nice and do all that outreach he’d been avoiding for so long?

Botein
Senshi of Amulets

MOOD: Happy to be among friends
ACTION: Introducing herself and shaking 'hands' with Fanny

Botein's shy smile quickly brightened into a grin as the two senshi she had met all those years ago greeted her, they remembered her. Granted it was hard to forget such an event as that whole bottle shenanigan nonsense. "Oh I know! I swear I was getting sand out of my hair for a week after that," Botein responded to Meissa's comment about the desert they had all been in, even as she nodded in agreement to Moira's comment about wishing their reunion was on earth instead of space.

"Where exactly are we anyway?" She asked the group as a whole even as she studied the others in their little group that she had never met before. The guardian cat wasn't all that surprising, she had met one before, but the purple skinned fellow was new, as was the robot.

Vanguard? Velencya? Both were new words for Botein, well... in reference to Techno. She did actually know the English definition of vanguard at least, but Techno's 'Vanguard' sounded like a title of some sort. Capital 'V' and everything. Velencya had to be some place, just no place she knew... kind of like 'Botein' actually.

"Nice to meet you Techno, and you Fantasia," Botein nodded in greeting to them both, "I'm Botein. I met Meissa and Moira several years ago," She paused a second before shrugging, "in a relatively similar situation actually."
The young woman reached out and gently took the offered appendage that the robot stuck out, like it was imitating a hand shake. "Hello, how are you?" It never hurt to be polite to others, even if she wasn't entirely sure it was safe. "Um... Techno, may I ask?" She hesitated a second, mulling over her question, "What is a Capital V, Vanguard?" She really wanted to ask about his purple skin but decided that it wasn't polite. One just did not ask such questions, it wasn't done!

Sailor Meissa
Senshi of Bobcats

MOOD: -- Meissa's just being Meissa
ACTION: Standing off to the side, watching. Stargazing

The unusual circumstances that had brought her here at least was kind enough to transport those that she knew alongside her. It would have been a lot more difficult to continue holding the panic in had she been left to her own devices. There was a level of non-comfort that the senshi of bobcats associated with this place. As it was Meissa wasn't sure the idea of being whisked away in the wee hours of the evening without much explanation suited her. The only thing that Astraya had working for it was the incredible view that one was afforded of the sky above them. The space in which Astraya floated was breathtaking to gaze upon and even though none of the known stars were visible Meissa still had to pause to admire the scenery in the sky overhead.

That could only hold one's attention for so long though and with a pang of regret the bluenette brought her gaze to bear on the ruins around them. How long had this place been abandoned by those of the flesh? It must have been quite a long period of time. With a small sigh and a mental prod to get her thoughts back on track Meissa watched the small handshakes being exchanged and took in the two aliens before glancing back at the strange robot. It was intriguing to watch but at the same time Meissa wasn't sure she "liked" robots.

Fiction1119

Nessaela
Vanguardian Cadet

MOOD: Ambivalent but "warming up" to the situation at hand
ACTION: Eyeing the "hatch" on Fanny and watching it shake "hands" with Botein.

Nessaela, finished with exchanging pleasantries with Moira overheard the name that Botein had blessed Tenoch with before covering a small grin. She felt him at her back and was relieved that even as Moira moved to shake his hand that she had someone she absolutely trusted watching her back. Her gaze turned towards the robot, designation Fanny, and the issue with the hatch door. There wasn't a feasible way to weld the piece of metal closed but maybe there would be the equivalent of a fact-acting sealant around or something to that degree. It was something that needed to operate on a hinge that wouldn't break free the next time that the hatch was opened. Either that or Fanny needed to find a way to tamp down on her levels of excitability.

Glancing towards Moira and the Mauvian Fantasia the Vanguardian cadet took in the expressions that both seemed to display. Their utterances of something being familiar made her wonder. "Do you two perhaps know something about this automaton? I am not sure if I'll have success or not in repairing the hatch but any little thing would help."

Here she turned her attention back to Fanny before addressing the robot directly, "Do you know of anything that would act as a latch that could hold your compartment hatch sealed until you need to open it? Is there anything one could use to fashion such a thing?"

She asked this question even as she saw that Fanny was trying to get someone to shake "hands" with it.

Sailor Moira
]Basic White Moon Senshi

Moira tilted her head at Tenoch explained who... or rather what he and Nessa were. Botein was equally confused, and asked the clarifying question that was burning a hole in Moira's mind. She did, however, make the additional comment of, "I hope you aren't as bad as that squire from before was saying you were." She laughed despite herself, realizing afterward how awkward and awful that sounded.

"I mean," she attempted to recover, "of course you're not. Why would you be? I mean... you've both been so kind. It's only been a few moments but you've been so sweet with this gardn-R here..." Moira paused then, touching her fingertips to her lips as she realized what she said. A moment of silence later and she nodded, turning her attention back to the robot, now looking expectantly up at her. It nodded to her and she nodded back, her brows a tight line over her eyes.

"Yes... yes... this is... a gardn-R. From... Moira! You're from Moira?" The robot nodded emphatically and danced in a small circle, beep booping happily as Moira recognized them. Moira herself clapped happily, the force of her smile nearly splitting her face in two.

"Have you... not been to your home planet, Moira," Fantasia asked tentatively. The question caused Moira's smile to falter and she shook her head. Though the cat looked distraught, she didn't press the issue. Still, Moira felt the need to defend herself.

"I mean... it's just... well it all seems so impossible doesn't it? I mean to be able to travel to space... though I suppose I have no excuses now, don't I?" She looked around herself uncertainly. Fantasia laid a paw on Moira's wrist in what she supposed was meant to be a comforting gesture, but it only felt patronizing. Moira took her wrist back and rubbed it gently.

Fantasia
Order Mauvian

While the Valencians and the senshi spoke, Fantasia kept her eyes on the robot currently happily "shaking hands" with Tenoch. She shared the senshi's confusion about the concept of "Valencians" and "Vanguard," but she supposed those questions would be answered in time. That was, if Moira stopped mumbling awkwardly. It brought a wistful smile to Fantasia's lips. It felt familiar in the same way the robot did. Like a vague sensation... a word forgotten on the precipice of being spoken. It was like Fantasia knew the timber of this senshi's voice, and was able to key in and out with ease.

So strange.

"You've been so sweet with this gardn-R here..."

Fantasia's head snapped up. Yes... yes that was it. As Moira elaborated, there was a satisfying click in Moira's mind like a peice of a puzzle falling into place. Yes, this little bot was from Moira, like the senshi herself. And suddenly it was like Fantasia had known that all along as well. She nodded her agreement with Moira and laughed at the bot's happily little dance and sounds.

But there was uncertainty under the discovery in Moira's voice.

"Have you..." Fantasia ventured gently, "not been to your home planet, Moira?" The cat watched as Moira's smile faded just slightly and admonished herself to asking something so rude. Even as Moira muttered something about the impossibility of it all, Fantasia felt awful. She reached out to touch the girl's wrist, but was met only with more rejection as Moira pulled her wrist away and rubbed it. Fantasia swallowed the knot in her throat and turned her attention to the robot and Nessa, who had offered to help them.

"Yes, yes this is a Moiran bot," Fantasia confirmed, drawing up close to inspect them. And none to soon, it would seem, as they had gotten over excited and popped open again. Fantasia narrowly missed being caught by the scythe that went whirling off into the distance. She'd search for it later. For right now, she propped herself up on the bot and felt just inside the lip of the opening.

"As I thought," she muttered, "the latch, which is normally spring loaded, is missing the spring. This poor little bot must be holding it closed themself, and just... forget when they get excited. Isn't that right, little one?"

Fanny nodded, rubbing it's front two legs together.

"Woudl you happen to have something that can help?"

Fanny
gardn-R, Personal Home Farm Equipment

Fanny had been accepted! They joyfully wiggled her arm in a way that was similar to what the organics were doing, but inevitably felt off. Still, they sung in their own robotic way a happy little tune. Their joy only increased tenfold as the senshi recognized them.

Yes! Yes they were Moiran! They even used their original designation, something Fanny hadn't heard in... well in eons! Oh, Moira could just... explode!

Oh...

Oops...

Fanny blushed again and collected what she could, making a mental note to search for the scythe that went flying off somewhere else. Meanwhile, the cat was inspecting them...

Spring loaded latch?

Oh!

Had that been what Fanny had felt all those centuries ago? That little pop when they'd first burst open? They thought that it was just... what happened... so the spring had broken? She didn't have to pop open anymore? Oh, could this day get any better?!
