The start of our story comes just a couple days before classes officially begin. Students are given the weekend to move into their dorms after having shipped/purchased what they wanted for their rooms (housing layout to come later). Currently it is 10am, students just got their packets for their first day of school as well as their ID cards to carry with them on campus. Please be sure to pay attention to any headers that are posted marking Events or Somewhere Else in the World.

Taking in a deep breath of the morning air as he turned around to face a group of men dressed in suits, and a pink haired woman that was far more dangerous than she appeared. “So, what I’m hearing, and correct me if I’m wrong. I’m hearing, no. I’m hearing, sorry. And I’m hearing, leave.” Luke said in a calm and inquisitive tone, looking at the shortest of the men, yet the one that seemed to speak for them all.

tab tab “We cannot do what you ask, I am sorry, please leave.” The man said in a heavy Indian accent. The man seemingly stricken with fear as he watched Luke slowly nod. “Is this a moral objection, or a monetary one?” Luke asked, before the man quickly replied. “Both, sir.” Sighing with disappointment, “So you morally object to what I’m asking?” Luke’s question met with a timid, “Yes”.

tab tab “So that is what I’ve heard.” Luke softly vocalized as he approached the edge of the building. Taking a moment before raising his hand slightly, “Mei”, Luke simply stated with a nod of his head. Looking out over the skyline, something caught the corner of his vision. A large, severely obese, man flying over the ledge of the building. Watching as the man fell for a moment before slamming onto the top of a car, dead upon impact.

tab tab “The hell was that, Mei?” Luke asked in a confused, yet calm tone. “You gave me the nod” her response oblivious to what Luke wanted, “Yes, the punch him in the face nod, not the throw him off the building nod. . At worst that was a ‘take a finger or two’ nod.” Luke stated, as he turned to look at her. “You need to clarify what your nods would mean, beforehand. . Because a nod to me normally means to kill them quickly.” Mei stated without much more than a shrug. “The man was a medical genius, sure, his weight showed some self-control issues. Probably an unhealthy habit of stress eating. But that was no reason to throw his fat a** off the roof.” Luke said, almost sympathetically as he walked towards the other men. “I think I can speak for all of us here when I say that was wasteful, tragic even.” Looking between each of the men, stopping at one that was barely above his waist in height. Giving him a long look of consideration. "It does seem to have the desired effect though. . Tell you what, throw the short one next, and let’s see if he has a durability quirk.”

tab tab Before Mei could get to the man, the leader spoke up in a hurry, “No, no! We will do what you ask. But we will need much money.” Raising his hand to signal for Mei to stop, “Then you will have much money.” Luke retorted in a mocking tone. Approaching the man and holding out his hand to shake, as if they’d completed some form of casual business. “I look forward to your results. Now, if you wouldn’t mind, I need to take this.” He spoke in a cheerful tone, before pulling a phone out from inside his jacket.

tab tab “Speak.” He commanded, as he turned his back to the group of scientists. A smile crept across his face as he walked closer to the edge of the building once more. Listening intently to his caller “Interesting, and you’re certain of this?” Luke questioned, only to be met with a confirmation. “Good work.” He simply stated, before ending the call and sliding the device back into his jacket. “Well, as much as I would enjoy an early lunch in Italy, it seems we have other places to be.” The blond man announced, as his attention turned to Mei, extending his hand. Though to some it may have looked like an offer, it was most certainly not. As the woman took his hand, large feathery wings erupted from his back, and in the blink of an eye they were gone.

So as he sat in the back seat of his parent’s car, sitting between the twins to keep them from fighting one another. They had both wanted to see him off, even though they would not be able to go beyond the gates once they arrived.
tab tab “Kibi are you even listening!” The voice of his younger sister, Kirika snapping him back to the present. tab tab “Anyway! BY MOM BY KIRIKA! tab tab Finally approaching the 1A dorm building, Takibi stared up in awe. Had someone asked him two years ago if he ever thought he would be standing in this exact position. He would have said no. But, after so much hard work with learning to control One for All, he had finally made his first steps at becoming a ProHero. Though it wasn’t going to be easy to say the least. He had a lot of catching up to do. Everyone else had years of experience with their quirks… and he had at most seven months? Looking down at the paper work in his hand he followed the documents to find his dorm room so he could begin to unpack so he could try to meet his classmates and explore.

Sitting in a dark, nearly suffocatingly small, room. A young woman with short deep violet hair fumbled her way around. To her it felt like she could not quite get her coordination right, despite all her training. The closet-like space that she was in, not helping in that. Slowly she got to her feet, and began to take in the area she was. Scarlet did not remember how she got there, or where she was. She could feel the wooden floor on her feet, and began to notice small streams of light breaching the cracks in the wooden wall.

Nearly as soon as Scarlet noticed the streams of light from the wall, a voice echoed from the other side. Humming, from what sounded like a woman. Though the humming was soft, and almost welcoming, Scarlet could feel nothing but the cold grip of fear wrapping it's fingers around her heart. Slowly the young woman forced her limbs to move towards the light, to see whatever was causing this sense of dread. With a slow approach that felt like an eternity. Scarlet pushed herself up against the wooden wall, her eye peering through the opening in the wood. Though the moment she was able to focus through the cracks, she was horrified by what she saw. A crimson eye was looking directly back at her.

"Hello there," A voice sang out, a voice that made her blood run cold. Knowing exactly who it belonged to, Scarlet tried to scream, yet nothing would come out. She was petrified. Slowly blood began to seep through the openings in the walls. The dark red substance snaked through, as it reached out and struck Scarlet. Pinning her to the other wall. The young woman watching as more seemed to pour through as it eroded the wood into an opening. Standing on the other side was a feminine form, a woman with long black hair, a dress as black as night, and eyes that seemed to glow crimson in the darkness. Before Scarlet's brain could fully process the situation, the woman was in the small room with her. Gripping Scarlet by the throat, "My dear daughter, how you've grown. You'll serve me well." The woman said, her voice becoming more demonic with each word. As the vice-like grip on her throat constricted further and further.

Lurching up from her bed, Scarlet thrashed, as she swung violently believing she was still in her dream. The whites of her eyes blackened, and her iris a deep crimson. Scarlet was in full fight or flight. Breathing heavily as a cold sweat beaded down her face. Slowly Scarlet came to realize it was nothing more than a dream. Clearing her throat, and looking around the room. Scarlet rubbed the part of her neck that was being constricted in her dream. An almost ghost-like feeling lingering around the area. The old man told her in a stern and callous voice. Rolling her eyes when his back was turned, Scarlet huffed and started towards the bathroom to clean up. Though before she could even touch the handle to the door, she felt something clobber her in the back of the head. Stumbling from the hit, into the door, Scarlet looked down to see what hit her. On the floor lay a wooden spoon. "Do not roll your eyes at me." Her grandfather's voice called out from the kitchen. Rubbing the back of her head, Scarlet could not help but question how he knew. "Sorry." She responded, confusion in her voice as she picked up the wooden spoon and inspected it, before continuing to get cleaned up.

In what felt like the blink of an eye the early morning was gone, and Scarlet was moving into her room at UA. Scarlet was not surprised that she got into UA, she'd worked her a** off both in the physical and technical capacity. But that did lead to a bit of the girl's ego becoming inflated. Looking at the rest of the student body that was allowed in, Scarlet found herself preemptively judging who was going to be in the 1A class. It was during her first round of trips to bring stuff up that she crossed paths with another student. A young man, that Scarlet could not help but glare down. The tension between them seemed to ripple through the air as the two rivals stood opposite each other. "So, when did UA start allowing trash into the school?" Scarlet spat, as she looked the boy directly in the eyes. "You know, I think the janitorial classes are a few buildings down. This building is for people that are actually going to be heroes." Scarlet said, as if she was giving advice. Though it did not take long before her demeanor cracked, and she began to laugh. "Seriously though, Youji. Hurry your a** up, and get moved in. Won't take me long. Oh, and you seen Emilia yet?" The young woman finished, before she started turning in to continue moving into her new home.

After a few trips, Scarlet had managed to move the little belongings she brought, into her dorm. Though a majority of her belongings were just tossed on the bed. "Eh, I can move that stuff around tonight." Scar told herself, before slinking out of the room, and shutting the door behind her. Though her room was spick and span at her grandfather's place. Most of that was not due to her nature, but the fact she did not want to do extra work around the house for a dirty room. Here, well, here she did not need to worry about that.

On her way down to the first floor, Scarlet passed a room. Quickly stopping, and walking backwards, her eyes fell upon a certain girl. A Devious smile creeped across her face, as Scarlet snuck into the room. Sneaking up behind the other girl, Scarlet grabbed the young woman’s sides and squeezed, as she screamed out, "SUIJIN!” Jumping back immediately after her actions, Scarlet laughed at her own antics. "Su, meet me over at Youji’s dorm, we going out! You get no say in the matter!” Scarlet demanded as she ran out of the room and towards the boy's side of the building.

After dodging some staff, and other students moving into the dorms, Scarlet made her way to Youji's dorm. Though it was after making a few wrong guesses as to which room he was in. Hanging onto the doorway as she peered in, Scarlet audibly sighed. "Dude, hurry up! This is our first day of freedom, and we still have daylight to burn. Chop chop. Let's go!" Scarlet badgered, as she watched Youji go about arranging his room and unpacking.

    “Annnnnndd…thhhhere. Finally…all finished.”

Jin stepped back from the wall to admire the painting she’d hung up. A family portrait. On the left was her mother. A woman of exceptional talents and beauty. A renowned classical musician who excelled in stringed instruments. She’d made a name for herself over the years. But in the end she’d decided to retire at home to help care for Jin and older sister. On the right hand side was her father. Tall and proud. A General in the Imperial army. His clean-cut hair, polished medals, and neatly-ironed suit. They all reminded her to be like him. To be disciplined and immovable. To be an immutable source of justice.

On the left, kneeling in front of mother, was Jin’s older sister; Chen Liu. She was an amazing martial artist. She’d taught Jin everything she’d known until Jin had grown beyond those limits. It was then that Jin had been transferred to a new dojo to learn from even better teachers. It was there that she’d met her first and only friend. A rather eccentric young girl called–

    “SUIJIN!”

Scarlet’s fingers were momentarily submerged in water as Suijin yelped aloud; and her midsection transformed subconsciously. The end result was Jin’s upper body waving around like one of those balloon men in front of car dealerships. “Da~a~a~mmmmmniittttt Scca~a~a~rrrrrllleetttttt!!!” Suijin managed to get out through gritted teeth as her body began to resolidify. She merged herself back together and huffed outwards at her friend. “Why can’t you ever just get my attention like a normal person!?” Scarlet was too busy laughing at herself to hear Jin’s complaints. Jin rolled her eyes and smiled at her prankster of a friend. “Yeah, yeah, alright, alright. What a hassle. Fine.”

Jin groaned as she forced herself to come to terms with the idea of socializing for the night. At least she hadn't gotten into her relax wear yet. She could keep the hoodie and jeans for now. Her hair of swirling water and swimming fish were all the attraction she really needed. Kids and simpletons loved it. She waited until Scarlet was out of the room; and snickered as she pulled up the few notes she’d managed to swipe out of Scarlet’s pocket when she’d grabbed Jin by the sides. Eye for an eye, girl–

“Nice try!” Scarlet announced as she came stomping back in, grabbing her cash, and getting back to her task at hand. Suijin huffed and followed her friend out of the room. Taking one look back at the portrait of her family; and then closing the door gently behind her. “Scar! Don’t run in the halls, it’s our first day here, have some class!” Suijin barked after her friend. Always the responsible one. Suijin walked calmly after Scarlet’s path. Her signature scent was familiar enough to her. It was easy to follow even if she lost sight of Scar. She caught up with her friend in no time; and decided against peeking in any of the boys dorms. She waited at the end of the hall for Scarlet to gather up Youji; and blinked in a stupor when she looked out the window.

“Sooo…there’s a bear here. Sure hope it’s not a teacher.” Scarlet’s curiosity immediately got the better of her and she came walking over to the window. Both Sui and Scar looked from on high as the scene between Kazuma, Miharu, and the security guards unfolded. The blonde guy screamed a lot. The dark-haired guy looked like he was doing everything he could to keep it together. The bear went home. The blonde guy screamed some more. Then the dark-haired guy did…something…and the blonde guy was out. Dragged across the pavement towards the door. “Well…they’ll be quiet and peaceful. I’m sure.” Suijin sighed as she shook her head. “Such a hassle.”

It was only moments later that the door to the hallway opened up; and both of those same guys came walking onto the floor. There was a momentary silence. Miharu raised his hand to greet them; and then the blonde guy started up again. Gave a speech of so much hot air that it could fill a whole fleet of travel balloons. Miharu seemed to cover fairly well for him. Jin leaned closer to Scarlet so she could whisper. “Ten bucks says the blonde one gets kicked out by week’s end.”

“No I do not understand! He’s my pet! Why can’t he stay in my dorm with me!?”

Miharu–standing only a few feet away from Kazuma at the moment–was covering his mouth with his hand as he spoke. “Yeah, guys, what’s the problem?” He was trembling a bit as he spoke; and fighting back the laughter he so often had to contain around his new boisterous friend.

The guard at the gate was clearly having a terrible night as of thirty seconds ago.
‘We are not having this conversation again, Mr. Iron-Blood. Please. We let you keep your pet bird on sight–’

“She is a Raven, you bacraut (a*****e)!”

Miharu, again, chimed in. “Yeah, you…hah–ahem–wait what’d you call him?”

‘Sir if you don’t remove the animal from the premises–’

“Yeah, yeah, I heardja! Buncha argr (weakling) cowards around here, scared of a fluffy ol’ bear!” Kazuma hopped down from the back of the enormous grizzly which even on all fours was about the same height as him. He walked up to the front of the creature and wrapped his right arm over the back of her neck. His left arm he tucked under her chin and rubbed it with his elbow. “Myessss, my widdle jarlskona, they just don’t know that you’re the best widdle cuddle-bug in the world, do they?”

Miharu now needed both of his hands. One to cover his mouth and the other to cover his eyes. “This got so uncomfortable for me so fast.”

Kazuma was dressed in a long gray hooded cloak which covered his arms completely. He wore black gloves over his hands that were adorned with Norse runes stitched in golden threads. His long blonde hair was wound in a single braid and held tight by a golden band adorned with decorative Norse filigree. His boots were black with red soles; and there were bones of animals both large and small strapped against their outsides.

Clearly the security guards were in agreement with Miharu in terms of discomfort.
    ‘Sir, this is your final–’

“I said I heardja, are you deaf!? Now shut your mouth or I’ll eat your heart!” The security guards at the dorm gates–summoned there after the teacher of class 1-A had warned them of a possible “animal control issue”--exchanged a nervous glance between one another as they contemplated just how serious a threat that was. “Go on home then, Soma. Tell Da I said to give you some extra salmon.” Kazuma gently patted the side of the Bear’s great abdomen; and the creature huffed in response. It turned away as if it understood him perfectly, and began to waddle it’s way back to where it had come from. “Oh, right, and don’t try taking the bus, Soma! Y’remember what happened last time, right?” This time the bear let loose a defiant roaring bark in reply. As if it were irritated that he’d brought it up.

“Aww, don’t be like that! Ratatosk will tell you all about it!” He laughed and offered a hearty wave after the bear as it lumbered away. He turned his attention back onto the two guards in front of him, and huffed as he put his hands on his waist. “Satisfied? Can I go in now?” The security guards both sighed in collective relief. Miharu was busy straightening his collar and stifling his trembling lip from bursting into breathless laughter. The first guard answered. ‘Well at least you’re open to authority. Thank you, yes, you’re free to head on in. You’d be a great hero someday if only you didn’t have such a short temper! Haha!’

Miharu shook his head. “Now ya did it–”

“Short!? Didju call me Short!? That’s it! I’m gonna shine my knuckles on your jawbone, you damn–” Miharu reached out from behind Kazuma, and put his hand on Kazuma’s shoulder. Through the cloak Kazuma wore Miharu activated his Quirk.

    -------- Miharu’s Illusion --------

The security guards were gone. The dorm was gone. The whole world was gone. He was standing in a space of pure…nothingness. Was he standing on air? Wait. He’d been here before. “Ruuuu!!! I’m not gonna fall for this again! Your seidr (dark magic) illusions have no power over me! My will is strong! I am stalwart as a pillar of stone! I am unwavering! I am–”

“Oh drengr (courageous warrior)!” A voice called out to him from behind. A woman’s voice. Kazuma turned on his heel. Ready to face anything. He wasn’t gonna get caught up in any of Miharu’s tricks. It’d never work! Not again! He was–and then he saw it. A wooden longtable that was laden end-to-end with his favorite foods. Suckling pig. Mountains of steaks. Udon. Kalimari. Not to mention the number of gorgeous women sitting around the table who were waving goblets in his direction. “Won’t you help us, proud drengr? We hunted all this game, and we have no one else to eat it with….”

    -------- Real World --------

“Sorry about that. Really. I’ll take him from here. Thank you very much.” Miharu bowed graciously to the two security guards. He certainly had no need to reveal to them that he’d been in it just for the entertainment value. Besides he’d taken care of the problem for them. He turned away, and began walking towards the dorm. His left hand was holding the last of his luggage. His right hand was currently occupied dragging Kazuma by the back of his hood. Kazuma who, at the moment, was waving his arms around in a slow windmill and had an ear-to-ear grin plastered across his face. “I’ll eat all this food..I am the Sun-Forged…hnghgnnnn…the Raven-Feeder…hnghgnhhnnn…more steak? Face me!”

Miharu sighed. Rolling his head and shaking his eyes as he carried his pigheaded classmate towards the dorms. It was a good thing Kazuma had moved his stuff in earlier that day. Miharu had to grab his last few things from home and Kazuma had insisted on tagging along. Then–on impulse–Kazuma had decided to try bringing his pet bear back to campus. Sure Miharu could’ve stopped him. But then who would’ve been there to laugh about it? Miharu was just about to the top step of the entrance when Kazuma snapped back to consciousness.

“AH! Did I win!? Is the table cleared?! Wait–” he looked around and his surroundings started to kick in. “Damnit, Ru! If you’re gonna trap me in those things you can at least let me see ‘em through to the finish!” Kazuma growled as he stood back up and brushed himself off. Miharu shook his head. “There’s a certain point when it stops being fun and starts getting disturbing. Personally? I’d like to avoid ever coming anywhere near that.” Kazuma blushed a little bit at Miharu’s insinuation and crossed his arms. Muttering something like ‘I didn’t even get to eat the pig; and now I’m hungry.’

Kazuma sighed and brushed it all off, and opened the door for Miharu. They made their way up to the boys dorms, and Kazuma opened the door to the hallway of their floor. "Well let’s get you settled in. We might be able to squeeze some training in before we call it a night!” They walked into the room and kinda froze up when they saw others were standing there. Kazuma’s eyes fell on Scarlet and Suijin. Miharu did the same, and then awkwardly raised a hand to wave. They hadn’t expected to see any girls on this side of the building. It was then that a red-haired guy with warm green eyes walked out of his dorm; and also froze up with an awkward look on his face. Miharu tried to hold his momentary courage; and opened his mouth to greet them all. Despite his reservations about social activity in general. “Hi, nice t–”

“Mark this Day!” Miharu’s face contorted as Kazuma shouted right over him. Kazuma’s fists were placed against his sides and his legs were set firmly in that signature All-Might hero pose. He then followed up by slamming one fist against his chest with a loud thud. “You will never forget the day you first crossed paths with the Sun-Forged Drengr! My name is Kazuma Iron-Blood–and I am the hero called EverShine! Remember it! Drive it into your brains! It is the name that will lead you all to heroic glory! The name that rattles the skies when the spear-din sounds!” His fist raised towards the ceiling as he smiled wide with his violent valor. “I am proud to call you friend and comrade! Welcome to UA! Now, form an orderly line, and face me in glorious battle, one by one! Those who wish to fight to the death, I’ll take you on firs–”

Miharu’s hand clasped over Kazuma’s mouth and Miharu offered a nervous laugh in a much more appropriate volume. “Death, whaaaaattt? Haha, he didn’t mean any of that, but anywayyyyy, thank you all so much, please forgive us for interrupting your day, hahahaha~” Niether Suijin nor Scarlet opened fire or anything so Miharu considered that a success.. Miharu sighed in relief and moved his hand away from Kazuma’s face. Kazuma who, in turn, put his hands behind his head. “What? Too much?”

“Listen,” Miharu replied, “we’ve had this talk, Kaz. Once you bring ‘death’ to the table, I gotta shut ya down.”

They had been there to support her throughout the whole process. All the way from the start until now. She turned once she got to the entrance and waived as her family drove off. It would have been a long goodbye but this would have to do for the moment. She would get to see them later once things got settled. But for now, she was going to be focusing on school, settling in, and finding her friends who had also made their way here. This was going to definitely be a start to the year. As she passed her way through the front gates it opened up into the campus. The amount of time that she would be calling the grounds home would be quite interesting and hoping that she would be making more friends and obviously studying.

The things she had ordered were all sitting in boxes with her things still as she walked in sighed and began to go about her business of unpacking and getting settled. She had chosen her aesthetic prior to arriving and had everything put in the room when it was bought.

She paused listening to what was being said and it sounded like Scarlet even if it was muffled and at a distance. She stood up and once more brushed out her clothes. Her tail swished back and forth as she walked out of the room and down the hall. Youji she thought was supposed to be here as well. She was going to wait cause they had some plans to burn the first day with each other and find out more about the year and the area.

All of her clothes had been modified to allow her tail and wings room to move. Emelia made her way to the main common room of the dorm and sat on the couch that was situated in the middle of the room. The place was so open and the way things were meant that this was going to be amazing. She was both bracing and not prepared for being ambushed by whoever would come down first. It also sounded like Scarlet was having a good time with the others.

XXXXYouji sighed as he walked across the school grounds, his duffle over his shoulder, packet folded in one arm, and backpack slung over the opposite shoulder. His mother had dropped him off an hour ago, and he was just finally making his way to the 1A Dorm Building. One of the reasons his mother had to be with him for orientation though, was because of his Katana. Where it shouldn’t have been a worry… His mother wanted to make sure that they wouldn’t store it improperly and that it wasn’t going to be tossed around like some prop. As soon as that was over, she gave him a hug and took off back home.

XXXXJust as he was walking up towards the dorm building, he paused at the end of the sidewalk looking up at the building in front of him. It was nice to be away from his family, sure he would miss his twin but it wasn’t like he was going to be gone for very long. Just before he could start walking down the path he heard a familiar voice. His blue green eyes landing on the violet haired female. "So, when did UA start allowing trash into the school?" Locking eyes with her, he kept a straight face. "You know, I think the janitorial classes are a few buildings down. This building is for people that are actually going to be heroes." The silence was only a few seconds, but the two began to laugh. It was hard to keep a straight face when Scarlet was spitting venom. It was normal for the two of them, seeing how they had been competing against one another for years. “Good to see you too Scar… No, I have not seen her yet. I’ll meet you in the commons once I’m settled in.” Following the other into the building he took the elevator to the male’s wing of the dorms, he had requested a top floor room, so he would be able to get the most sunlight for his plants.

After the couple of hours, he was in the middle of hanging different wicker fixtures onto the walls that would allow vines to crawl and spread over the area as they pleased. He almost fell off of his bed when the door swung open, Scarlet hanging from the frame. "Dude, hurry up! This is our first day of freedom, and we still have daylight to burn. Chop chop. Let's go!" Rolling his eyes, he started to step off of the bed. “We still have plenty of time to explore. Besides, did you find Emelia yet?” he asked, picking up his messenger bag and cellphone to be able to join the girls.

XXXXJust as he stepped out into the hallway, he froze staring at the two new comers as the blond one broke out in to a long. Though Youji knew he was wearing a blank expression on his face. Closing the door to his dorm he tucked his hands into his pockets. “I would agree with the point of not bringing up death… since the school would get the wrong impression.” he sighed, though he recalled his train of thought before the speech had started. Sending a text to Emilia in the group chat that they were in with Scarlet. Why they hadn’t thought to do that earlier.

Normally Kenta would have used his weekend to relax, maybe take the chance to do some boxing exercises to improve since he was still a bit new to boxing. Instead, he had gotten up, enjoyed a nice breakfast with his parents, and they had left for UA. From this morning onward, Kenta was going to be part of Class 1-A, the top class in UA. It hadn’t been easy for Kenta to get into 1-A, he had to really sit down and study, on top of make sure he was properly ready for the potential combat to come from it. Though the actual score for the written part was not that amazing (average-ish), it seemed his showings in the combat test had won his way in. Now he had to improve his mind, but that was what UA was meant to do.

Standing before UA felt almost unreal for a moment, even though he had been here not too long ago to take the exam. This time it was different though, and it felt like he was seeing it for the first time. "Kenta, never forget how proud of you we are. You worked so hard to get into UA, and I know you’ll work hard to follow your dreams.” His father said as he wiped a tear from his eyes. Kenta couldn’t help but chuckle at the sight; his dad was this big and strong Pro-Hero, and here he was getting emotional of this. As if noticing, his mother let out a small chuckle. “Honey, if you get this emotional over him starting, you’ll probably burst into tears when he starts the next year.” She joked, though Kenta noticed her eyes also slightly watering as she spoke. Kenta could not help but chuckle at the two, figuring they needed a moment to let it sink in. “I’ll be fine! I’m going to work hard, study hard, and make friends while I’m here!” he reassured as he looked ahead with a grin. He had already worked to get to this point, nothing else could stop him! Both of his parents being here was important though, and since they had arrived early, iot was a moment to sit and take in the scene. At least, until the sounds of a phone ringing from the car alerted the two, most likely a work call. With a final goodbye, Kenta watched his parents head off, before wiping a small tear from his eye. "Darn it....they got me doing it..." he joked before turning back towards UA to take one last look.

A bit after, Kenta had said goodbye to the two and was now in the room assigned to him, moving stuff around as he got things ready. Though he was in high spirits, he wondered about if his sister planned to reach out to him at all. She had once wanted to become a hero, but one day suddenly expressed a loss of interest, and with her being busy working, he rarely got to see her. It was somewhat upsetting that she hadn’t shown up, but he chalked it up to being busy given she was a few years older than him and was probably at work. Stopping for a moment as he unpacked, he reached for his phone to see if he had any texts, but alas there was nothing, earning a momentary frown before he shook his head to get rid of any negative thoughts. He could reach out to her later, for now he had to finish packing. The biggest issue was setting up the punching bag he had brought along for training in his spare time. Though he was all that muscular for his age, Kenta had started learning boxing when his Quirk manifested, so it seemed right to bring one along. It wasn't easy to setup though, and he had spent a while getting other stuff done while his headphones were in, only stopping and taking them out to focus on getting the punching bag ready.

As he began getting it ready, noise came from outside his room, causing him to rather clunky whirl around to check on it. Had the other students arrived? Maybe they were here all along and he had been so absorbed in getting ready he hadn’t noticed? If Scar was here, then it would be neat to catch up and see how she was doing! Bursting from his room, Kenta emerged into the hallway with a startled look on his face as he looked between the hallways and rooms to see where the source was. It was clear he was startled a bit, since he looked a bit messy, and when he had scrambled to out, he’d tripped and made a loud “THUD” noise. “Everything okay!? It’s me, Kenta Haruto!” he shouted as he looked around before not seeing anything strange. Curious still, he began making his way downstairs to look and see the noise he thought he heard. Maybe it was just people talking, and he was so focused it sounded like something else, but he wasn’t sure.

Never had Kyohei thought he would make it to UA. Not before the past couple years, at least. His Quirk had taken forever to manifest, so until it had, he'd fully expected to attend and graduate from a normal high school for people who weren't going to become pro-heroes, but now... here he was. In the hero class. More surprisingly than that, he was attending UA with his best friend and brother, Kazuma Iron-Blood. Kyohei was studious and hard-working, so all he'd needed in addition to that in order to get into UA was a Quirk. By no means did he think he was social or interesting, though. To be honest, he was pretty sure his parents were just as surprised that he'd managed to make such a good friend that they both considered each other brothers. Somehow.

And then there was the playfulness Kazuma tended to bring out in him. It currently took the form of ceaseless giggles as he argued with staff about his bear friend. It was just a little harmless fun, after all, and at least that much was due him. He knew the bear was no danger to anyone: Kazuma's animal friends had that in common, it seemed. Was it part of his Quirk? Or was he just a Disney princess? It had been a point of much amused speculation since he'd met the young man. After a few minutes, however, Kyohei's cheeks started hurting from all the snickering, so he slapped his hand on Kazuma's back, to send the blond into a very nice and distracting hallucination. In the years they'd been friends, he'd managed to recognize his Quirk and build resistances against it... but Kyohei knew just what he wouldn't be able to resist. Glory. Food. Women. It was enough to preoccupy the Norseman(?) long enough for him to apologize to the staff and get his silly friend out of there and to their rooms. ... Along with his stuff. His wheeled luggage was convenient but had a stiff wheel. It was almost harder than dragging Kazuma. At least all he had to do was get them to their rooms so he could recharge a bit. New setting, new expectations, new... people. And there they were, a whole slew of them before he could get to his room.

      Ah. Hell.

In an attempt to start off on the right foot, Kyohei opened his mouth to introduce himself (and Kazuma in order to keep him from saying something stupid, hopefully), but before he could get more than three words out, his brother opened his mouth. And Kyohei closed his. And his eyes. Ruefully. A part of him... a very optimistic part of him wanted to believe Kazuma wouldn't say anything that would elicit his intervention, but--

"...wish to fight to the death..."

      There it was.

In the span of a few more words, the boy covered his friend's mouth with his hand and apologized to their new classmates, wishing to smooth any feathers Kazuma might have been in the process of ruffling. The questioning that followed after he withdrew his hand was kind of sweet, actually. His companion only offered to fight people to the death out of some sense of honor. And stupidity. But not malice. Still, death was death, and this was a school. Fortunately, Kyohei was relieved to find that he was not the only one thinking along that vein, so when the boy with the red streak lying stark against the rest of his black hair spoke, he nodded and then looked back to his friend, the smallest of smiles on his lips as he recognized this as a potentially teachable moment: "So, maybe death is not the best thing to offer to the people who will be our classmates for the duration of our time here."

... Yeah, that was totally going to get through to Kazuma. Oh, well. If he didn't go around at an impractically high volume, trying to collect fights to the death like Infinity Stones, he wouldn't have been Kazuma.

The crowds for the trains were always hectic, this day was no different. The tall, thin, blonde-haired boy stood by away from the small groups of students all wearing the same middle school uniform. He wished he could be home at the restaurant but his father always made it clear he needed a proper education. Beau's large eyes were focused on a small pink-haired girl standing close to the tracks. One of his few friends, Well one of the few people that did not take advantage of his eagerness to please. The train started to pull into the station as the pink-haired girl slipped or was pushed he could never tell. "Aiko!" His body started to move on its own, Everything was a blur he bulldozed through everybody between himself and Aiko. His hand firmly grabbed hers as he pulled her back, He Smiled as he looked up at her right before the train horn blared and everything went black.

Startled awake Beau looked around his mom's car, Light sweat covering his face as his heart raced. The stress from finally making it through his physical therapy and actually making it to UA had Caused him to relive that day more and more in his dreams. Letting out a low sigh he wheeled down the window to get a little more fresh air as he placed his hand on top of Aiko's and giving it a quick squeeze. "Sleepyhead is finally awake!" The bubbly voice of his mom from the driver's seat helped bring him back to the actual day. It was moving day Aiko and himself had actually survived the exam and made it this far even with Beau's extreme lack of training. "Yeah..just had trouble sleeping last night, way too excited" That only being a half-truth the anxiety dreams of the train and the nightmares of him losing control over his quirk again and growing into a true freak had kept him up. Beau would never bother his mom with these worries his parents were already hesitant to let him come to UA when his accident supercharged both his quirk and his base strength.

Pushing the thoughts aside he put a large smile on his face as they pulled out and he quickly got out to do the thing he was best at and become a pack mule to distract his brain. "I think we are good from here mom, I can carry most of our stuff one trip, and anything I can't carry Aiko can port on up. Plus I know you have a big day and we can leave K.C. With Dad for too long or she will start calling her teddies Idiot sandwiches again." Beau Didn't think much of his father not joining them on moving day as he was normally busy keeping his restaurant running smooth, but the large teen did hope his dad would have joined them for a proper goodbye beside the wave and half-hearted hug when they left in the morning. Beau knew his dad was not happy about him making the move towards hero work but he didn't think Yuri would not even bother to come.

Looking at Aiko as he slowly started to stack the large boxes into two tall piles before picking one up in each arm. Leaving only a few small boxes for Aiko to carry herself. "Ready to blow away these nerds Koko?" He nudged her lightly with his hip before giving his mom a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'll call once we are all settled in, Tell Chef we did miss him today and we will be back soon, Someone needs to make sure he does not kill all of his line cooks." With that the large blond boy made his way towards their dorms, well at least where they thought the dorms were. Beau never was great with directions or really remembering any important information. Thank the gods that He had Aiko there to make sure they actually moved into the right dorms. His large golden eyes scanned the other students the other first years already seemed like quite a lively bunch and Beau could not be more excited to make every single one of them his new besties.
