So, yeah! If you've found your way onto my profile, I'm gonna assume you don't know me yet. Or you're really, really bored. Seriously, how bored can you be with Steve around?
I began my pilgrimage back in the summer of 2003, but I didn't find my way to Gaia until mid-February 2004, back when it was known as Go-Gaia and Monthly Collectibles were called Donation Items. Yes, when I put my age into websites, I do have to scroll down a little farther down the "year" drop menu than I like to admit, but such is the way things go. My time in Gaia has been wonderful. As with all things, it had its ups and downs. I joined RPs and left them one way or another. Around Spring of 2009, I lost my way. Gaia was no longer a priority in my life, but a sickness brought me back, and shortly thereafter, on December 31, 2010, I received a PM from one who is now known as Glorious Captain Steve.
It was then that I joined MEX, Gaia's most successful Mass Effect RP, and roleplaying became less of a hobby and more of a passion. Following the captain, I learned what it was to truly step into character and to see their world through their eyes, though I still have a way to go. Since then, we've been through many adventures, both online and off, in character and out. The captain has since come to be one of my best friends, and I've met others through him. The past few years have been...an experience, to say the least. I can only hope the same can be said of the next few years to come. I look forward to it!
