Personality: Cat is stubborn with a thick skull that does not understand the concept of no. Someone can tell him something and it will slip out of mind while he continues pushing forward to whatever goal is in mind, irregardless how ridiculous or dangerous some of them may be. Sometimes it works out when he proves a point and other times he has to bust his own behind to realize what a fool he can be.
Like with everything he tends to have an explosive personality and will go hard on everything he is caught up in. He can love fiercely, fight to protect those he cares for until his dying breath, argue just as much and the like. Everything is full force with the boy who doesn't like lingering on any insecurities or doubt. He will be the most loyal of friends or most dedicated of enemies depending on his relationship with you. As long as you have earned his trust it will be hard to break
Description: A muscular young man with the height of an Alkidike that sports a few scars here and there from reckless stunts.
History: Born into a polyamorous family, Cathán was raised with his siblings in the village of Ast for a majority of his youngling years. Cathán may have been the most spoiled since his parents all believed he would be the last bloom that they would have after Yazeed. He was raised iwth love in Ast by his family, the strange situation somewhat accepted after a while by the villagers before his family once again opted to travel. They were much more situated for traveling to the delight of Cathán who adored moving from place to place as he had little patience for sitting still at all, especially as an older youngling.
His earthling parents, Nytarra and Jacek, met Velora while she was visiting Azehra in Chiume. By the time they encountered her the Geian pair were already a few years into their marriage, but the possibility of adding another had crossed their minds many times before especially since the young couple were struggling to grow their family. Having another lover was a practice that Nytarra’s family had already implemented, but they never expected that connection to be made with an Aishan! At first it was a simple friendship that bloomed between the three then love came shortly after. Although Velora found it odd at first eventually the connection became far too strong to break.
The three traveled across Belrea together, taking odd jobs when possible and generally enjoying one another’s company. Velora’s skill with her blades helped to ward off bandits while Nytarra’s bow covered their flanks and Jacek helped to keep gold flowing as a merchant of rare wares. All in all it just seemed to work, even if it was a little strange to others. Eventually enough time had passed that Velora decided it was time to go back and see her own family. At first she feared her lovers wouldn’t come with her, but they’d already made a pact; they were a unit, partners in this life and the next, so nothing would separate them.
They settled in Ast for a while, so that not only could Velora be closer to her culture, but so they could seek out Aisha’s blessing in having a child. Nytarra and Jacek had tried for years to have a child of their own with little success, but it was Velora’s idea to seek out Aisha. All three wouldn’t be able to go, but if Aisha saw fit then a family could be made.
The first to go was Nytarra and Velora. It felt odd leaving Jacek behind, but he was adamant. To him none of this would be possible without the two of them so who else would be better to show Aisha their worth? Weeks went by without word, but eventually a bloom came to be. A son; a little tanned bundle named Yazeed.
And three years later, Jacek went to Aisha’s side along with Velora and came back with another son. A little wonder named Cathán who quickly grew into their little hellion. While Cathán adored being spoiled the boy was also fiesty and always eager to prove himself, especially when he was always compared to his bigger brother who seemed to be perfect in his eyes. While he adored his brother there were moments when he wished that he could be bigger, bolder and prove that he could inherit just as much of his Alkidike mother's strength like his brother had. It was a bit harder though considering his more petite stature that resembled that of an earthling, perhaps a couple of inches taller than earthlings hopefully in his later years, but still short for any Alkidike or hybrids.
And then came the traveling years. Cathán was delighted to roam the world and see whatever creatures he could sneak away into his family's camp. The youngling was often chastised for getting into trouble, always running to hide behind Yazeed to protect him from any strangers that frightened him or bothered him with their concern.
But then his spoiled days came to an end as a miracle happened and Nytarra became pregnant. Like Yazeed, Cathán couldn’t understand his parents worried over losing this baby. All he knew was that their travels had to stop and he was reluctant to settle, not when he had a taste of traveling. The family spent some time in Sauti while her pregnancy progressed, and finally, when Cathán was seven years old a sister was born. Still, Cathán admitted the baby was cute and eventually committed to a pact with his brother to protect their younger sister.
And form that point forward Cathán felt like he lost that connection with his brother. Yazeed still was protective but he seemed so distracted by training and more so by their younger sibling which made Cathán perhaps pick up a bit more of a temper, venturing further and further away and biting back at anyone who sought to tell him no. He was going to become strong on his own so that he would not have to rely on his brother nor would he let anything happen to their younger sibling! It would be a shame if Yazeed's training went to waste after all and Cathán did not want to put up with a depressed sibling and so he endured by helping out where he could.
Now he still does his own thing, but he behaves to a certain degree as to make certain their family continues to be happy.

Cathán always knew that he wanted to follow the Aishan path. Even though two of his parents were from Belrea, as cool as that country could be, the teen always enjoyed the wildness of the jungle. There was just something amazing about the Sisters that sparked a fire within his own soul as he continued to push himself to become stronger, fighting whatever dared to challenge him even if he got injured from it, because Cat refused to ever be afraid of anything. He wanted to be strong for his family, be just as good as his older brother Yazeed and prove himself. The question about weapons had always bothered him, but he found that he preferred to be in the middle of a fight instead of firing arrows from far away. While he enjoyed the feeling of the training spears that he had been taught basic fighting with, there was also something thrilling about the feeling of dual blades in his hands. What was even better was the spark of magic he felt whenever he held the blades, Cat’s spirits soaring when he realized he could actually access that spark. He could become a sacred heart then! Everyone else always complained about having some tough decisions for their futures, but not Cathán. He knew his path, there was no other place for him besides being an Aishan warrior. Even if some of the Sisters judged him for being a hybrid and a male, the teen didn’t mind. He would just keep working hard to prove himself and keep enjoying life by living a bit more on the wild side. Did it make him reckless? Perhaps. Did he care? Not really, not when he felt like he was getting stronger after each and every encounter. He would just have to be cautious whenever his family was involved as he continued pushing forward with his training, his heart set upon becoming a sacred heart.
