11 - 20: Lucky Lucky! You seem to have struck gold...or something similar. Use the second roll to calculate your results...and add +5 to the number.
21-24: Amazing! You pull out a rock that has quite a few gemstones poking out, which means there's more inside. This could be enough to create a jewelry set, or even sell it raw for a good amount of coin.
Yazeed dipped a rag into the river and brought the cool cloth up onto the back of his neck. The mornings training had left him with a familiar ache in his limbs, one that predictably left him a hot, sweaty mess, but it was nothing a nice rub down wouldn't fix. Normally this part of the river was vacant save for a few jungle creatures this early in the morning, but as he looked about Yazeed caught sight of several shifters downstream from him. Three young girls, right around his brother's age, rubbing their eyes but excitable never the less.
They hadn't seen him yet so he watched passively for a moment. At first he just thought they were going about their morning routines, but then he saw them sifting through river silt and realization hit him. They were looking for treasures and he wished them luck in that.

So they thought that they could horde all of the treasure, huh? Cat's gaze gleamed with determination as he appeared like a shadow behind Yazeed. A loud splashing announced his presence as he dropped a wooden box into the water by his brother, the contraption floating there as he held up one of his own. "Stop whatever you're doing." He boldly announced. ""We're getting rich today brother." Apparently treasure hunting had taken off in popularity among the earthlings and Cat refused to allow them to take everything! He could already imagine the pile of riches as he showed it off to all the Aishans and earthlings alike, drawing in all the attention and giving them scornful looks for once in return. His head tilted up with pride as he grinned at Yazeed. "Whoever gets the most will be praised as a master today, okay? Maybe when I win I will show mercy and buy dinner and drinks for you today." As usual his over confidence was well....there.

One moment Yazeed was peacefully going about his morning and the next - bam - Cat rolled in like the force of nature he was. The girl's further stream turned their way, pausing momentarily in their work just to make sure all was good, but when Yazeed held up a friendly hand with a smile they calmed. The girls tossed a few looks between the brothers, murmured among themselves, and went back to sifting.
"Are we now?" Reaching for the box floating so close to him, Yazeed turned his head a bit to get a better look at what his younger brother had brought. While he wasn't concerned in riches what so ever there was no denying it meant something to Cat and so, he smiled and nodded. A master for the day? That might be pretty fun.
"Dinner maybe, but don't worry about drinks. Keep your earnings if you find any. I know I will be." It was a subtle dig, but honestly, that was the best one could hope from the easy going hybrid.

"Yes." Cat gave a firm nod, there was no hesitation or doubt in his expression as he glanced about the stream. Surely there were plenty of treasure to find! His mouth quirked upwards into his trademark grin, slightly slanted towards the left, and he saluted the earthlings cheekily before turning back to his brother. "You gather silt and stuff in the box which reveals gold apparently. If we're really lucky we could find some rare gemstone that surely will trade for a lot." He explained even though his brother hadn't asked about the strange contraption. Still it would save time just in case he wasn't certain what it was for and Cat was more than eager to start this thing. How could he not be when riches untold awaited him and his brother?
"Pfft. We'll see. Saving money is useless when you're planning on bringing in a lot constantly." He teased in turn as he studied his contraption before squatting to try and dig it into the stream, his gaze bright as he felt the weight of everything waiting for him beneath the surface. Here...we go! After silently counting to three the teen tugged, sending water splashing everywhere as he pulled the contraption back out of the water.

"Couldn't you just use your hands to do all of that? The box seems...complicated." Wasn't it so much work to bring it all the way here, gather materials to put into it and do...whatever it was that it did to get the gems? He could achieve the same results by dipping his hands into the river.
Still, Yazeed gave his younger brother some space and crouched to watch. He resisted the urge to help because, well, he wasn't sure how. As he watched, Yazeed gingerly picked through the silt at his toes and lifted a few stones, marveled at their smoothness and put them back as Cat seemed to heft his finds to the surface.
"How do you extract them?"

Cat rolled his eyes at his brother, more so a playful action than a condescending one, but he couldn't help the slight sigh that came from his lips. "It's not complicated, Yazeed." He quipped lightly. "It's because if we spent all day digging through the dirt with our fingers we wouldn't get half the amount of gemstones and gold. This thing has the ability to quickly separate the dirt from the riches." At least that was what he had gathered, but of course Cat refused to look like he didn't know anything about the strange contraption.
"I think you simply shake this one. Apparently they make more complex things but this was what the merchant had in stock." Expressed Cat after a moment of studying the soaking wet contraption, the water slowly dripping from the sides as he carefully tilted it left and right. "If you shake it then you can get the dirt and stuff to fall out while the good stuff stays in the mesh." As he finished speaking he started to shake harder, dirt and silt falling all around him before the gleaming sight of gold caught his attention. "Ahah! Look at that!" Maybe they really would be hitting gold today! Even though Cat had been full of confidence earlier this was the first time he was feeling like his words would actually be true!

For all Yazeed knew it very well could have been complicated. Still, he kept a neutral expression throughout the explanation. His younger brother had always been better with trinkets than he was which was part of the reason he got in so much more trouble.
For a moment all Yazeed could see was a young boy and his toy. It didn't look much more than a box filled with mud, but to Cat it was something special so maybe that was enough? "Maybe you-" Oh. Oh! Yazeed's brows raised and his posture straightened. "You did it, Cat! I wouldn't shake it too much though or you'll lose your treasure." As thrilling as it was to see bits of gold falling out Yazeed didn't want too many to escape.

Of course in Cat's excitement he would shake it even more. A few pieces of the gleaming gold fell back into the stream with a splash, but the Aishan hybrid didn't even seem bothered as he shoved pieces of gold into his satchel. "Looks like dinner may really be on me tonight!" He teased his brother, his grin brightening as he noticed more shimmering throughout their area of the stream. Cat picked up the other sifter and held it out to Yazeed. "You should try though. It's not fair if I'm the only one to use this thing." He winked towards Yazeed before motioning towards the water, his body mimicking what he had just done to scoop out the silt and shake the gold free. If Yazeed did actually find more Cat didn't know if he would be impressed or annoyed. Probably a mixture? The teen just chuckled at the thought before waiting to watch his brother make the next move.
"Maybe if we gather enough we can also go get new weapons." He mused thoughtfully. "I could use a new spear for training...maybe some daggers. I still don't know which ones I want to use the most." Or maybe a battle axe or something like he had seen a couple of Aishan warriors carrying around. Definitely not the bow though cause that didn't involve enough combat for Cat. He much preferred the melee route so that he could really get into the heat of things.

For a moment Yazeed thought it over, but ultimately gave in to his own excitement. He happily took up the strange box, turned it a few times in his hands and moved to another spot in the river so he wouldn't be sifting through Cat's 'space'.
Unlike his younger brother, Yazeed's methods were a lot more methodical. He gingerly lowered the contraption into the water and allowed it's weight to help guide him in gathering some silt. For a moment the teen wondered if he would get anything good, but ultimately he ended up with some weight. With a few good test shakes underwater Yazeed was satisfied and slowly started to pull it to the surface.
"If you find enough gold you might be able to get both." Now that his haul was brought to light, Yazeed gave it a few good shakes and looked at...a stone. "Huh." Not disappointed so much as curious, the teen lifted the oddly formed rock into his hand. Now that it wasn't covered in muck it was easy to see a few gemstones pocking out of the sides, almost as if to tease him about what lay further in.
"I may have you beat, brother."

Cat's gaze gleamed at the realization that he could try to purchase both weapons. "That's a great idea!" He grinned towards Yazeed before focusing back on the task at hand. While he was more of a whirlwind of activity, his flurry of movements causing the smaller fish in the stream to scatter away from them and for some of the girls further upstream to give him funny looks, the teen was still gathering an impressive load of shimmering stones.
Cat found himself lowering his haul, his hands quickly tucking in the precious bit of gold that he had found into his travel satchel, and he slowly waded over towards Yazeed. "What is that?" He breathed in astonishment. "Do they sell magic stones in this river or is it always that shiny? That's a lot." Even he had to admit that he was impressed! Not that it deterred the boy - if anything it made him want to try harder to find something that would match his brother's find. Even though Cat respected and adored his older brother the teen could be a bit of a brat and always wanted to compete with all that he had.
"Hold on that. I'm going to find one of my own." He declared before grabbing his contraption and going back to work, his gaze narrowed in fiery determination as he continued splashing up and down river.

Yazeed tilted the stone once more in his thick, meaty hands and gave a 'hmm'. "Looks like a raw stone. Like they didn't get the chance to dig the gems out before it was lost." He wasn't too sure on the specifics of things, but he did know that they sold for a fair price at market. There were those who wanted things like this was for the specific thrill of cracking it open at home and jewelers liked to bank on finding something truly rare. "Could be magic; not really sure."
Yazeed's instinctual thought upon Cat taking off once more was 'of course he was.' So long as his younger brother thought he could turned the sky purple he would, but that didn't bring the smile from his face. He liked that about him and wished that he could keep that spark for the rest of his life.
"Just be careful. Don't slip on the stones; they're really slick in that part of the river."

"Even if it isn't maybe we can sell it like it is!" Called at Cat with a laugh. "Unless you'd rather keep it!" He was caught up in the moment, his determination keeping him moving at full speed until his brother's warning slowly caught up with him. Of course the words went through one ear and out the other until his foot caught on a particularly slick stone. It was over in one moment - the satchel went flying to the right with a splash, his sifter floating away as Cat landed on his a** on a pile of slick rocks. Thankfully the darker moss there kept him from seriously busting his tailbone but there would definitely be some sort of bruising from the incident. The most serious injury of course was to his pride, the hybrid's cheeks darkening as he swore he heard some chuckles from the shifters that turned away at the sight of his angry expression.
"For Aisha's sake." Cat swore under his breath before slowly trying to get up again, his movements still uneasy as the stones beneath him kept propelling his body forward. Eventually he gave up on simply standing and the teen scooted backwards until he finally touched the shoreline. "Well. If the satchel is around we may still have some stones." He muttered as he refused to look towards Yazeed in his embarrassment. Honestly he was so heated that he didn't even notice the shimmering stone that was in the muck that stuck to his leggings, the strangely shaped rock similar to what Yazeed had found earlier.

Would he rather keep it? Looking at the stone, Yazeed couldn't really think of why he would, but then a thought came to him. If he did keep it then he could just give it to their sister as a gift which might cause some friction with Cat. Maybe it would just be better to sell it then, and split the coin? Less squabbling that way.
And just like that, by the time he looked up his brother was a** over tea kettle in the water. "Cat!" Even as he called out Yazeed couldn't keep the laugh out of his voice. Tossing his stone onto shore, he gingerly made his way over. "Hang on, hang on, I've got it." He didn't want to make things worse, but oh goddess, the sight before him was absolutely precious.
Thankfully the stones in Cat's satchel had weighed it down enough that it didn't go far. Yazeed was able to pluck it from the water, much to the delight of their shifter onlookers and with a passive smile their way he went over to meet with the other hybrid.
"Watch yourself; there's something stuck to your leg."

"Of course there is." Cat grumbled though he couldn't help but to look down. "Hmm." Blinking the teen tilted his head as he plucked the stone from his leggings and an actual laugh left him despite his frustrations. "Would ya look at that?" He shook the muck off until the shimmering stones revealed themselves. Since Yazeed had returned his bag as well then that meant they had benefited from today's excursion even if his behind or pride hadn't!
So maybe he wasn't as upset now. Cat held his prize up towards the sun before finally glancing at Yazeed, an actual grin on his lips again. "I think this means we can call it a day...of course I guess we don't have to do the actual bet part. I'll still get us some grub though on the way home. It's only fair since technically you reclaimed the gold." As much as he loathed to admit it the teen couldn't hold any win over his brother today, not after his recent slip up. It would just be nice to get away from the shifters and return home at this point. Cat felt his cheeks darken but he refused to glance towards the girls as he slowly stood up, his hands attempting to brush off some of the muck from his ruined leggings before he grabbed his belongings and started heading off so that he could focus on their win and not on his own embarrassment.
