Personality: Quill tends to goof off. It takes a lot for him to take anything seriously. But once he does, he becomes laser focused until the current task is completed. Quill wants to joke around and be friendly with everyone. Personal Skills: Quill goofs off, but he has an incredibly analytical mind. He is quite skilled in making an ironclad plan look like incidental miracle. Family: Quill comes from a well-off family in Malie City. However, a home fire caused his immediate family to pass long ago. He was raised by his grandparents just outside the city. He loves them to death, and they him. Hometown: Malie City Biography: Quill was born into luxury with his parents in Malie City. His parents were scholars, and quite wealthy as well. They used their fortune to purchase and sponsor a library there. HIs parents loved learning new information, anything peaked their interest. Quill had a happy childhood living with his doting parents and their library. Even though they were perpetual scholars, they always seemed to have time for him. Quill, even at a young age, was a huge book worm. His parents loved them, and so did he. From the time that he could read, Quill was insatiable in his pursuit of reading. He could spend days engrossed in the pages of whatever he was reading at the time. Quill was setting himself up to take over the library when he became older. However, fate had other plans. One night, when quill was twelve, a dangerous storm killed the power in his parents home. Quill, not wanting to stop reading, even during a storm, was using a candle to read a book from his library. Hours passed as he poured over his candlelit book, until he couldn't hold back sleep. As he snoozed into the late night, the candle caught his book on fire. His book sparked the desk, and the desk caught the curtains. One thing led to another, and a large fire erupted in his childhood home. The house was set ablaze, and everyone, and everything in it. Quill himself would have fallen victim to the flames, if not for a small, water spider hearing his crying. The timid creature mustered its' courage and followed the sound into the second story window where Quill and Dewey met for the first time. Seeing the fire consuming everything around them the small Dewpider created a water bubble around itself and Quill, allowing them to escape the disaster together. However, Quill was the only survivor of the fire. His parents, and his little sister were gone, consumed by the flames. The trauma from that night gave Quill a fear of fire. Even the smallest speck of flame is enough for him to have a panic attack. After that night, Quill, and his family's fortune went to stay with his grandparents. They raised him well, with lots of love and care, but could never cure him of his fear. Quill, carries that fear and guilt in his heart to this day. When he became eighteen, he ventured out with Dewey to get away from Malie City. He needed a change of scenery and an adventure to try to get past his past. That's how he ended up in the Kimchi Region.
