As stated above, we are looking for players with Guardian Cats from an Alternate Universe (that we are in no way affiliated with) who are looking to import their Mauvians into our setting.
ICly Guardian Cats WILL:
Have unique role play opportunities specifically dedicated to their faction.
Require role play and participation in order to unlock special features and gain access to/create new technology.
Be in charge of sharing information with senshi who have been assigned to them for care and training purposes.
OOCly Players of Guardian Cats WILL:
Have the opportunity to help shape the faction as it grows through plot submissions and feedback.
Be expected to communicate well with one another as well as the player base as the shop grows.
Need an understanding of the Role Play rules, which includes acceptance that if they aren't able to participate in a specific Guardian Cat plot or event there may be some additional role plays required to 'catch up.
Need a little bit of patience and flexibility as we work out the kinks and figure out what works best for everyone involved.

We will be accepting submissions until at LEAST August 21, 2021 at which point we'll review the forms and select the first round of Guardian Cats to be brought into the shop!

Desu? gaia_angelleft Let's Make Magic Happen! gaia_angelright Name: Itsuki Nicknames: Jesus Christ, Itsuki--, Weebcat Pronouns: He/him Hobbies: Dancing - If there’s one thing this cat loves to do, it’s getting down with his bad self. That isn’t to say he’s particularly good at it, but dancing definitely helps not only relieve stress, but provide good exercise and increase flexibility. Itsuki doesn’t have a preferred type of music so long as he can dance to it (sorry slow jams, you’re outta luck.). Even hardcore rap, if it’s got a good beat, will have Itsuki bobbing up and down trying to look like the rappers in the music videos (which he also loves to watch so he can learn the appropriate dance to the song!). His absolute favorites are pop songs that have very particular, recognizable dances to them.
Snuggling - Who doesn’t love a ball of warm fluff vibrating in their lap? Itsuki looooves a good snuggle, especially when the weather is cold or it’s been a long and frustrating day. He really prefers skin-to-toebean contact so you shouldn’t be surprised when Itsuki stretches out a paw to touch your face or arm while sleeping. He’ll even crawl up under (or down into) a shirt or sweater to sleep on your chest if you let him. It’s a great way for him to get some rest and quality time with you, and stress relief for you because 1) cat and 2) Itsuki is asleep, thank the lord above.
Instagram - Itsuki loves him some Instagram. Instagram is one of his favorite platforms due to all the food and culture bloggers he can find. He had the brief idea to try and make himself a meme via the platform, but decided that was probably a bad idea and instead sticks to looking at beautiful photography, cultural dress and architecture, food and style guides, product purchases and reviews, travel and even makeup tutorials! Itsuki’s favorite thing is simply the vast amount of beautiful pictures from around the world that can really capture his imagination. He does not yet have his own Instagram account in a rare moment of responsibility. Pros:Radiating Positivity - Itsuki is as sunny as a warm Summer day with the disposition to match. More often than not, he’s in a positive mood and ready make you smile with his antics. He usually has something nice to say about everyone, even Dark Kingdom folks and won’t hesitate to brighten your day if you’re feeling down. He tends to see things as sunny-side-up, glass-half-full, with a sort of optimism that seems to press on despite terrible circumstances that might be befalling his companions at the time. Itsuki can usually see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Adventurous - Swim in the bathtub? Explore the junkyard? Catching fish down at the docks? Kitty camping out in the woods? Even climbing to the highest bookshelf in the house is adventure to Itsuki, and he's up for it at least once. Obviously he won't try again if the activity or place ends up being incredibly dangerous or he ended up terribly injured, but this little kitty is interested in new and exciting experiences! He jumps into these new adventures with excitement and thrill, especially when it's a place he's never been to or an activity he's never tried.
Friendly - Very open, ready and willing to meet new people, Itsuki can and will go out of his way to introduce himself to others and make friends. He’ll approach people, other animals like dogs and especially other Guardian Cats to strike up a conversation. Itsuki isn’t shy in the least bit and is actually quite patient when it comes to shy people or someone who is uncomfortable but shows signs of opening up slowly. Itsuki doesn’t tend to get nosy with shy people (at least, not initially, since he suspects they’re simply uncomfortable rather than hiding something from him.) Cons: Nosy - This kitty doesn’t understand boundaries like personal space and privacy. If you’re hiding something, or Itsuki simply suspects you’re hiding something, he’s going to dig into it. It could be important! What if the Dark Kingdom finds out about that embarrassing photo on social media, or that love letter you forgot to shred before you put it in the trash!? If he overhears you saying a name he doesn’t recognize, well, who is that?! Where did you go? Why are you in the bathroom? It’s been twenty minutes??? I hear typing!
Reckless - Bit by the hero bug, Itsuki doesn't tend to think too hard when it comes to saving someone in potential danger or rushing in to stop the Dark Kingdom's latest plot. The big problem arises when he forgets he's just a cat, not a Senshi capable of defending themselves with strength and magic. Heroes don't back down, though! It wouldn't come as a shock that Itsuki's gotten himself into trouble more than once in an attempt to do good and save the day. It's what Mauvians are supposed to do!
Obnoxious - Ever have a cat wake you up by yelling and clawing at your door at 2AM? Ever have a cat simply stand or lay on whatever it is you’re working on? Playing with the cord to your computer and shutting it off? Knocking your expensive vase off the mantle? Waking up to butt in your face? Doing backflips in the bathtub for no discernible reason? Flying in out of nowhere to attack your face while on a Skype call with that cute girl from work? That’s Itsuki. If he wants something like your food or your attention, he will resort to the most obnoxious behavior he can think of to get it. He’s also sometimes obnoxious and annoying without any real purpose behind it. He’s loud, he’s sometimes whiny, and he’s clingy.

gaia_angelleft Let's Make Magic Happen! gaia_angelright Name: Silos Nicknames: N/A (But he's totally game!) Pronouns: He/Him Hobbies: Music -- For a cat... Silos sure does love music. He loves it in all it's shapes and forms, though he seems to tend to prefer the more obnoxious kind. The louder and stupider the music, the better. But this is mostly because he likes getting a reaction out of people (and not particularly good ones, to boot). Despite liking music, he's not particularly well versed in the art; He can't play musical instruments as a cat (and would probably suck at it in his human form). His voice is average, and while he can have his fun at it, he's clearly an amateur. They say that music can tame the beast and in his case it's true, though it can work like a double edged sword, for it can both sooth him and excite him depending on the type (and no one enjoys an obnoxious, hyperactive kitty cat that could possibly wreck your apartment in no time flat!).
Flirting -- Is it alive? Is it sentient? Can it engage in verbal banter with him? Yes? He'll hit that. It doesn't matter if it's mauvian, human, male, or female (why ignore 50% of the population?)! He doesn't even seem to care about alignment! Anyone will do - he'll hit it (or try to) and will enjoy every minute of it. It won't quite matter if he's successful or not. More often than not, he's not and it doesn't seem to deter him in the least; he's half in it for the banter anyhow, and if you give him something to chew on, he'll come back for more. He's not the type to take a step further than that (specially not if it's not desired), but there's no denying he seems to enjoy riling up people - if he can do it while flirting with the subject matter well then, that's just a bonus.
Debating -- Verbal banter? Yes please! He will go as far as taking on sides he doesn't believe in, for the sake of an argument, specially if he knows he's ruffling feathers in the process. He can bullshit and argue any point straight down to the core of earth if given half the chance, and not only seems to enjoy it, but doesn't particularly get upset or ruffled in any way if he's beaten at his own game. This just means he's found a sparring partner! PRAISE! Pros: Everything at it's due time Laid back -- To say that Silos is laid back is almost an understatement; he's rather easy to get along with. If left to his own devices, he might try to make a friend out of a rock. He forgives easily and lets people make mistakes, though on the other hand, he seems to expect people to have the same patience with him, as he has with them, and having such expectations often times gets him in trouble. He enjoys life as if it were a game, living each day as if it were his very last on earth and not everyone seems to appreciate this. He doesn't take life very seriously and is often time confused as to how or why everyone around him seems so stressed out. Despite that, you can at least bet that if you're upset, he'll try to cheer you up; in his... own strange way (which you might, or might not appreciate - likely the later usually, unfortunately).
Always, for all time! Passionate -- Silos takes passion almost to a fault. It doesn't matter what he's doing; he's putting his heart into it. It won't make a difference if it's fighting a battle, or simply taking that piece of paper from point A to point B. While this means that he won't likely leave things half done, and that he sees things to the end... it also means that he might come off as over the top. If he's fighting, he's laughing maniacally while doing so. If he's running an errand, he rushing from point A to point B and often doesn't realize he's run a poor old lady over in the process. It doesn't always affect things, but it can mean trouble from time to time. It also means that he's a single minded, one idea sort of creature, and if he can't manage something, he'll try and try again (he's bound to succeed at the 100th try, right?), which makes him forget that perhaps, just perhaps, that one simple task isn't as important as getting back on track with whatever it is... he was supposed to do after that one task. He tries though - points for trying.
I'm your nnight in shinning armor, baby Protective -- Well, maybe not a knight, and maybe not armor precisely, but still, for all effects and purposes, it's the same deal, even if he just so happens to resemble more of a pirate than he ever will a knight. The base idea is the same; for all his talk and all his attitude, Silos can't seem to ignore people that are in trouble. Especially not if they are interesting, pretty or defenseless, and he has been known for rushing straight into trouble, at the cost of his own well being, even when he knows it's a fight he can't win (This is the body of a TIGER, baby!). It's something he can't help but do, and no amount of failure seems to dissuade him. It doesn't necessarily have to be a fight either; any little thing will do, and despite the fact he seems to enjoy riling others up, he can't seem to handle tears all that well, and goes out of his way to avoid them, even if he's not the cause of them.

Cons: Let's do that Tomorrow Lazy -- Don't expect him to actually do things when you ask them of him. He would much rather lay around, humming to himself than actually do any sort of physical labor. He has the tendency of leaving things for the very last minute and will often procrastinate as long as he possibly can. What do you mean you needed that for yesterday? He'll... uh... make up for that. Somehow. Oops. When you've asked him to do something trivial, it's not that bad, but when something really important needs to get down and he's decided it's 'work' and he would rather cat nap on that field over there, it tends to get obnoxious and lands him in more trouble than actually doing the simple task might've been. He doesn't seem to learn however, and falls into the tendency quite often.
How about... we don't Irresponsible/Uncommitted -- He likes you, and he's loyal to you, in his own way. Just don't expect him to either admit to this, or move forward from there. He's eternally stuck in the 'just friends' or 'just acquaintances' or even the 'friends with benefits' mindset and it might take a minor miracle for him to move past that, usually achieved through self reflection (which he seems to avoid like the plague). He doesn't enjoy being tied down in any sort of way, is leery of it and is extremely out of his element in deeper, emotional situations or relationships. It's not that he's an instant gratification sort of guy (even though he is rather a fan of it), but... investing his time and himself on anyone beyond friendship will require great effort on his part. He might technically be doing it without realizing it, but if it's brought up and into perspective, he'll pull away. It stems from the fact that he doesn't really trust most people not to hurt him. At least not outside of a 'Doing this with someone for fun!'. Not even a tiny little bit, and while he's cool with someone (anyone), he's not expecting much out of them in the long run. No one's invested themselves into him yet, so why should he?
SQUIRREL Easily distracted -- Silos is a good fighter (for his size and strength, anyways); he can handle himself in direct, close combat, and knows how to use his magic when it's needed. He's resourceful, intelligent, and will make a weapon out of a toothpick if that's what's laying around but... all that goes to waste when the enemy points behind him and goes "Look there!" and he turns around to check it out. His level of concentration and attention span are next to nil, and he'll often time find his mind wandering at the worst of moments (middle of talks, middle of fights, etc). Music also has a similar effect on him; he can quite literally be stopped mid-rampage with soothing music and he'll pretty much drop down, as if drugged. Granted, loud, excitable music has the opposite effect, but still.
That thing about eggs and omelets Loose morals -- If he doesn't like you... you are expendable. It's as simple as that. Don't expect him to be a good party member to you; if the party must sacrifice someone, he'll happily offer you up for the procedure, no questions asked. Granted, it tends to take a while to get him to dislike someone, given he seems to be a fan of second chances but... if you ruin things with him, winning him back is near impossible. A 'do not enter' sign often times means quite the opposite for him, and at the end of the day, he won't hesitate to cause chaos and damage if it means he and his allies come out of it alive and Order wins. What's a little chaos if the good guys WIN? Breaking some eggs to make an omelet is just fine with him; he has no idea why people keep looking at him funny when he says that.

gaia_angelleft Let's Make Magic Happen! gaia_angelright Name: Duncas Nicknames: Pyewacket (it's what his owners at the bookstore named him -- personally, he hates it) Pronouns: he/him Hobbies: Reading -- As a bookstore cat, this is almost to be expected. Duncas will read anything he can get his paws on, and the store carries a variety of books: bestsellers and literature, of course, but also science fiction and fantasy, history and anthropology, self-help and psychology, even new-age and occult. He knows where everything is shelved, too, and can find just about any book in the store just by title. He's a furry librarian. He makes a point of reading both the Feather of Truth and The Weekly Weird as well, just to keep his paw on the pulse of the city.
Stargazing -- Are the stars in alignment? He can tell you! Duncas is an avid astronomy nerd, and enjoys using the small telescope on the roof of the building to explore the night skies. As a result, he also follows astrology avidly, using the stars as his guide to help you predict whether it's a good day to do something or not. He can work up your personal horoscope if you give him your birthdate information; at the very least, he'll use your sign as a guide for your personality and how to interact with you. (He himself is an Aquarius.)
Lounging About -- It's rather expected of a bookstore cat to be found lounging about somewhere obvious where they can be petted and admired, and Duncas is no exception. He considers it one of the perks of occupying a bookstore, the biggest perk being the books therein: getting pettings and attention from the bookstore's patrons is nice. (Getting treats from them is even better.) The owners of the bookstore have positioned comfy cat beds everywhere for him, but his favorite spot is in the gabled window at the front of the store, advertising to everyone who passes by that this place has a shop cat. It's also where the sun shines in the best.
Pros: Why Can't We Be Friends Sociable -- Duncas is a very friendly cat, willing to socialize with just about anybody. Whether it's in the bookstore or out and about, he will come right up to you and start a conversation, puss around your ankles, or let you pet him. He's definitely a people cat, and the more people he has to interact with the happier he is. He enjoys the company of other cats too, and will engage with them in the same sociable manner. The only people he is even remotely skittish around are Chaos-aligned people; they give him the heebie-jeebies.
I Know Things Knowledgeable -- Duncas has read a lot of different books and journals on a lot of different subjects, and as a result has quite a bit of information stockpiled away in his little furry head. It might take him a moment to pull something out of his memory, but it's in there somewhere. His collection of knowledge is eclectic to say the least; it ranges from lunar phases for the year to how to craft a knife to the names of the dwarves who hired Bilbo Baggins as a 'thief'. He quotes the great classics (and more contemporary sources) almost as a force of habit.
Your Secrets Are Safe With Me Curious -- If there was ever a cat that proved the reputation felines have for being curious, it's Duncas. He is a nosy creature who wants to know everything, which is why he reads so much. Knowledge is power, especially if you know it about the right people and things. He will stick his little blue nose in everyone's business, just to see if there's anything worth mentally filing away. This cat likes to have his toe-beans in everyone's metaphorical pie. He probably knows more about literature and workings of a bookstore at this point than the owners of the bookstore do. Duncas is also good at keeping the information he learns to himself; not a cat to blab secrets all over town, he will sit on gleaned information until it's just the right time to spill the beans.
Cons: Ooooh Shiny Space Cadet -- Duncas can be something of a scatterbrained cat. He acts space-y too much of the time, and can come off as a bit of a ditzy airy-fairy creature. He also has a tendency to forget what he was doing and hop on to something else mid-stream; he has various projects he is working on scattered all over his secret kitty workspace out back of the bookstore. Easily distracted by the new and shiny, he will flit from one thought to another without any warning.
Chatterbox Talkative -- Duncas is a talkative creature, sometimes to the point where he doesn't know when to shut up and be quiet. Given half a chance, he will talk your face off. He gets more talkative when he is nervous too, which is not a good thing at all. He will hop from one subject to another when talking, spouting whatever random tidbits of info surface from his memory. Duncas is a fount of information -- if you can get him to stop blathering and just focus.
What Does This Button Do? Curious -- Yes, this is a virtue AND a flaw! The adage "Curiosity killed the cat" absolutely applies to Duncas. As noted, he will stick his little blue nose into everything, sometimes places where he shouldn't be sticking it. This has caused him to come close to losing one of his nine lives on several occasions in the past. That doesn't stop him, though -- he is insatiably nosy and curious and unconcerned with his personal safety when it comes to learning things about stuff. Or people, for that matter -- he's not above spying on interesting people just to see what they're up to. There are certain times during the day, like right in the morning or just before bed, where kitty Hadaya just needs some cuddles. He is just a regular sort, so at least once a day he will seek out companionship for pets and hugs. Generally, this is with someone from his family or a very close friend that understands the concept of ‘cuddle time’. No words really need to be said, once he walks up purring and gives them that look. It’s cuddle time, and it’s good for everyone involved.
Reading --
Hadaya fills down time with books. Any book he can get his paws on, regardless of what age group its meant for or what topic it is on. He will try to read it, even if he can’t understand it that well. Math and science are not his forte, and the more education oriented books at the library can sometimes confuse him, but he loves to read them anyway. He will often camp out in the kids section of the library and read along with the kids, silently, or listen to story time. He absolutely loves being read to. If someone at home is reading, he will often jump in their lap, sit down next to them, or sit on their shoulders to read along with them. Pros: Wanna be Friends Sweet --
Hadaya has a very sweet disposition. He loves to cuddle and keep company with others, and will always be the first to accept a hug whenever it is offered. He is a gentle soul with a very soft disposition, and he does not tend toward anything aggressive. It is very rare to hear him growl and he never hisses or uses foul language. He does not judge others if they do, of course, he is just not built for that sort of stuff. He uses sillier words to voice his frustration, if he must. Though it might take a little while for someone to get used to his awkwardness and the goofy way he handles himself, once he makes a friend he does what he can to keep them. He is unconditional about his love, loyal and dedicated to those he cares about and always willing to forgive and forget if the need should arise.
Here For You Empathetic --
If there is one thing Hadaya can actually claim to be good at, it is listening. Probably because it does not take any actual physical skill, but he also genuinely cares about others, and wants to offer his pointy ears if they are needed for some venting. Though he is not the best for offering advice, because he can never really get his words to come out right, he has other methods of offering comfort. Listening quietly, of course, and he also thinks cuddles and rubs are good ways to help cheer someone up. Hadaya is very sensitive to the emotions of others, and tends to respond in kind, or at least as positively as he can. When someone is happy, he has much more energy and is very happy as well. When there is a negative vibe in the air, though, he is more focused on trying to make the source of it feel better than anything else.
Cons: Bad Luck Trouble --
Whenever Hadaya is left on his own, bad things start to happen. He cannot help it, having a crippling case of cat curiosity, and when no one is around he can be a bit bolder in his physical actions, even if he prefers being passive and happy in company to exploring on his own. He does not have to worry about being shy or keeping himself in check, so he ends up getting into a lot of trouble when no one is watching. And when people are watching, for that matter. He is just a magnet for it, and his natural clumsiness and the awkward way he can be completely unsuccessful at new things he tries to do only add to this fact. He never means to be a menace, but if there is a ledge he will fall off of it. If there is an open trash can he will somehow get stuck inside it. Hole in the ground? His paw always finds it. Expensive, collectible, porcelain elephant? Better put that away if he's visiting.
You're the Boss! Submissive --
Hadaya is a very friendly and outgoing cat, but he has a strange reaction to people he finds intimidating. If someone establishes some sort of power over him, or if he gets it in his head that this person is boss, then he can be very submissive. He rolls on his back, meows plaintively, skitters away to hide: he is not exactly scared of them, but he definitely doesn’t want to upset them. This is how he acts around Tony, who he takes for the boss of the house. He constantly confuses Tony with it, as the behavior runs counter to how Hadaya acts most of the time. Ultimately, he is not destined to be a leader, and does not want anyone to think he is trying to take center stage or any sort of command.

gaia_angelleft Let's Make Magic Happen! gaia_angelright Name: Etoile Nicknames: Etoi Pronouns: she/her Hobbies: Channel Surfing -- Etoile loves watching TV, and probably spends a good amount of time parked in front of a television set, paw on the remote. Of course, as to whether anything interesting is on is another story, but Etoile generally tends to favor watching the Home Shopping Network and spanish soap operas, with a dash of reality shows on the side. If cats could use credit cards, Etoile would probably have purchased a lot of things off the HSN by now.
Stargazing -- Named for the stars, it seems only fitting that Etoile took an interest in watching the night sky. On nights where it's clear and the weather is nice, Etoile likes to lounge outdoors and count the stars, or just daydream in general.
Candy Connoisseur (self-proclaimed) -- Once she realized there were better foods out there than bland dry kibble and gooshy wet food, Etoile took it upon herself to personally sample every bit of candy and other assorted sweet foods out there. While her favorite sweets tend to be candy canes and gingerbread cookies, Christmas unfortunately only comes once a year, and such things are harder to find out of season... at least when it comes to the good stuff. Thus, Etoile has come to experience a wide variety of candy from other holidays throughout the year; this has led to the little cat to become something of a self-proclaimed 'expert' on holiday candy. She may or may not be the kind of kitten to take candy from a baby... Pros: I’ll be there for you Supportive -- Etoile is always willing to be your personal cheerleader, cheering you on when needed and giving out (fairly misguided) advice. She's not necessarily going to be someone's crying shoulder, being kitten-sized and all, but Etoile has no problems with listening to your woes; if there's pettings and treats involved, it's an added bonus!
Tomorrow’s a brand new day! Optimistic -- Etoile likes looking on the brighter side of things, always believing in that rainbow after the storm. She maintains a positive outlook on the future, no matter how bleak things may seem, and it's difficult to dissuade her from this. Even if things do go wrong (as they tend to do), Etoile believes positive thinking is the key to success, rather than to expect the worst. At the end of the day, you're still alive, and that's what matters most, isn't it?
I’ll try anything once! Open-minded -- Etoile doesn't fear much (except for maybe cancellation of her favorite shows). She considers herself to be willing to try anything and everything, without backing down, and doesn't think of herself as being particularly picky about things, either. It's possibly stupidity more than it is bravery, but Etoile nevertheless remains undaunted in the face of danger.
Honesty is the best policy Honest -- Etoile is more than happy to tell the truth, whether it be bad or good, or incriminating against herself. She sees no reason to lie, and thinks honesty is the way to go, makes for a healthy relationship, etc. This is a two-way street, though- if she's honest, she expects everyone else to be honest as well, which doesn't necessarily always work out. Cons: We irritating Shameless -- Etoile generally doesn't feel much remorse for her actions, and tends to wonder why people get so worked up over, in her opinion, the little things. Items can be replaced, after all, a belief Etoile holds no matter what the value of something was. Nothing is truly 'priceless', is it? The little cat really doesn't understand why people have a tendency to get (reasonably) angry with her for her actions.
Priorities what priorities Lack of urgency -- To say Etoile has mixed priorities is something of an understatement. To say Etoile has a strange idea as to what constitutes an urgent matter is probably more accurate. An attack by the bad guys is certainly a bad thing that should be taken care of, sure! At the same time, they're about to reveal who America's Next Top Model is! Can it wait.
Common sense not included Clueless -- Being fearless does not necessarily imply intelligence. Many times, Etoile does not know that it's better to quit while she's ahead, lest she wants, say, someone to turn the hose on her. She lacks common sense most of the time, and has a tendency to leap first, think about the consequences later. Possibly by virtue of being a Guardian Cat, or just plain dumb luck, she's managed to get this far in life without getting into major trouble.
I wanna try, too! Overeager -- Etoile has to be a part of everything. Everything. It doesn't matter if she knows anything about the matter at hand- she wants to be right there in the middle of the action, ready to help out! While she means well, the little cat is a burden more than a help, and she only serves to get in the way of any actual help more than anything else.

gaia_angelleft Let's Make Magic Happen! gaia_angelright Name: Runelucia Nicknames: Rune, Ruuuuuune Pronouns: she/her Hobbies: karaoke -- … or to put it simply, singing along to songs she finds herself growing attached to. Very attached to. Lately, she’s been into a menagerie of vocal talent, and of the sort that swept Japan by storm… or so they claimed, which is okay, as she’s convinced that they aren’t wrong. Since then, she’s taken herself to practice singing covers whenever she has the opportunity and even makes it a point to study videos published on social media and printing out lyrics to study from. If it weren't for the part where ordinary civilians can't understand her, she'd have long since started her own video channel dedicated to her song covers. Never mind the fact that her song covers sound like a melodic cat's singing to the unaccustomed ear.
mentoring -- Rune ardently believes that part of being a Guardian Cat means to be a mentor in more than just the powered side of things. Rather, it's also important to do well in other aspects of one's (civilian) life as well! She has no problem helping with homework questions, or just offering her tutoring services in general, believing it to be her duty to make sure her charges turn out to be fine upstanding members of society. Of course, this has the potential for being abused, but Rune has yet to really figure that out...
dancing -- 'Something even a cat could do!' Rune thought. Fueling her motivation to get competent at dancing largely stems from her fascination with idols. As a cat, she finds it difficult to accurately mimic the dance moves portrayed by her favorite idol groups (as seen on video) so she would resort to formulating her own move sets, adapted for her feline self. While she sadly lacks an audience thus far (not that she would be allowed further unpermitted video capture per se), she has big aspirations of there one day being the opportunity for her to make her big debut... y'know, when society is ready to handle a dancing cat. Pros: Strong Moral Compass Virtuous -- Rune believes in behaving ethically and making sound decisions that do not commit undue harm and injustice. In other words, she wants to practice doing more rights than wrongs or to upturn the wrongs with rights. With that being said, Rune refuses to bow down to wrongs happening and would duly inform her charges suggestions of how to handle these pressures.
Eager to serve Helpful -- She believes in the ingenuity of hard work. She, therefore, has taken upon herself to do more than just simply guide her charge: she will get involved in whatever they do, provided they let her intervene to do more than simply observe. Out in the field proper, she tries to advise though, in actuality, she largely cheers. In an everyday setting, she is pleased when others find her dependable for a menagerie of things such as assisting them with their homework or studying for exams.
A Stubborn Pluck Resilient -- With her strong sense of duty and moral compass, it is safe to assume that she bravely puts herself out there along with her senshi, and she would insist in being around unless she is ardently convinced that she has no verifiable role in the upcoming stint. Alternatively, this also translates into her devotion to whatever interests her whether it's guiding her senshi or keeping an eye on the latest favorite idol band's single release.
Cons: Tunnel vision optimist Naive -- She believes in anyone’s goodwill perhaps a tad too much, especially from anyone she believes to be authentic. In other words, she is quite gullible when she is shown what sounds good, even if it’s almost too good to be true.
There’s a Limit to Being Dense, y’know Oblivious -- Sometimes… Rune’s obnoxious gullibility translates into an incredible amount of density. Not only she is led to believe the goodwill spoken simply in words, but she would also assume that things would turn out alright. This also facilitates her missing obvious social cues of being, well, unwanted and annoying.
Overly Dedicated to a Fault Overzealous -- As it goes... her intense optimism, sense of duty, and stubbornness could very well be a recipe for being overly dedicated. In other words, it would be difficult to get her to back down when she is not required to be present. Moreover, this causes her to fret more than she should, and she has difficulty in not being productive whether it is in assisting with her senshi's future or her hobbies.

gaia_angelleft Let's Make Magic Happen! gaia_angelright Name: Broderick Nicknames: Brody, Fuzzball Pronouns: he/him Hobbies: Napping -- Most cats enjoy their sleep to one degree or another, but Broderick has taken the concept of napping and elevated it into an art form. If he has time to spare, the odds are very good you’ll find him asleep somewhere. However, unlike your average cat that likes to sleep on cat trees or in a particularly nice sunbeam, Brody gets a kick out of finding the most unconventional napping places he can; the sort of space that makes one wonder how he managed to get in that place or position to begin with. Empty fishbowls, boxes that held soda cans, a seemingly-large enough empty pipe--the more unusual the location, the more Broderick wants to sleep there, and the longer he will sleep. Sure, he might have trouble getting back out of some of his more unusual locations, but that’s a problem for future Broderick to deal with.
Singing -- Perhaps it can’t be called singing when to most people, it just sounds like yowling and caterwauling, but Broderick is a very musical cat. He loves to sing, both to himself and to the rare audience that can understand him, and will often wander around singing bits and pieces of everything from showtunes to rock songs--complete with his own sound effects for guitar solos!--to commercial jingles that catch his attention. He thinks he is an excellent singer, in point of fact, and would happily sign up for a karaoke night if cats were allowed that sort of thing. Barring that, the next best thing is simply to sing whenever he feels like it, no matter who might be listening.
Pros: You exist and that’s all I need to love you. Affectionate -- When Broderick likes you, he’ll find a way to show it--often and obviously. He’s quick to seek out a chance to cuddle, quick to spend time with someone, and quick to reassure them that he not only loves them but also wants the whole world to know just how wonderful they are. There’s no strict requirement for who passes his muster; Broderick likes nearly everyone, and is free with both his time and his attention. He’s particularly physically affectionate, and isn’t one to stand on dignity when there’s the opportunity to both soak up attention and offer a big, soft cat to snuggle with on a bad day--it’s a win/win situation for him!
Let me help you feel better! Compassionate -- Broderick isn’t the type of cat who can walk past someone who’s suffering and go on with his day. No, he has to stop and offer what aid hecan, because he hates seeing people unhappy or unwell and simply can’t keep himself from trying to offer comfort. Usually that just means being there and providing a listening ear--a lot of people will talk to cats whether they can understand them or not, after all, and sometimes all someone needs to make their day a little brighter is a listening ear that can’t or won’t judge you. If that isn’t enough, he also thinks he provides a delightful distraction, since he is cute and fluffy and capable of winding around and around someone’s legs until they stop moping and pet him already. In the case of those rare individuals that can understand him, he’ll go so far as trying to offer advice on whatever situation they’re dealing with. It isn’t usually very good advice, because Brody isn’t always the wisest of felines, but he makes the effort anyway because he cares too much not to try.
I have an idea! Clever -- While Broderick isn’t the most intelligent Mauvian in the traditional sense, he is rather clever. He tends to think outside the box and come up with unorthodox solutions for problems, often coming up with them seemingly out of nowhere. These ideas make perfect sense to him, but a more traditionally-intelligent mind might struggle to figure out where, exactly, he’s coming from. Strange though his ideas may be at times, they work more often than not--if not in solving the original problem, then in providing another way to look at the situation and perhaps come up with a more efficient solution. And if it works out for the best in the end, then it doesn’t really matter what the train of thought behind those flashes of insight or clever, quick-witted, unorthodox plans was--now does it? Cons: I’ll do it later. Lazy -- Perhaps it’s only to be expected when one of his hobbies is napping, but Broderick is incredibly lazy. He lives with the mentality of ‘why do it now when you can do it never later?’ Physically, he’s prone to lounging about rather than bothering to move, especially if he can manage to con an inclined human to carry him wherever he wants to go. If something needs done or investigated, he won’t rush to do it; he’ll put it off in favor of relaxing just a little longer. It tends to make him a bit inefficient as guardians go, because he prioritizes taking it easy over everything else, and just can’t be bothered to put in more than the bare minimum of effort to accomplish anything.
I won’t talk about it. Taciturn -- Sometimes you have to communicate with people in order to get the result you want, and this is unfortunately something that Broderick is terrible at. If a situation requires some kind of explanation to fully understand it, he’ll leave you in ignorance. He’s more likely to refuse to eat a food that makes him sick than to say it leaves him sick, and if he thinks something is amiss about a situation he won’t offer any words of caution or advice, instead keeping his mouth shut even when keeping his silence could potentially be dangerous. He doesn’t see the point about talking about things that are unpleasant, and would rather keep the mood cheerful and upbeat regardless of anything else that’s going on.
This is bad, this is very bad! Anxious -- Can a cat as lazy as Brody be a worrywort? Yes, actually; he may not bring it up much, and he may prefer to lay around than to do anything, but he has a very active mind that tends to chase itself around in circles. He worries incessantly about everything from the mundane to the serious, and if he doesn’t distract himself or sleep it off, he’ll catastrophize about everything from dinner being late to the fact that he’s been alone for a whole three hours to that storm that’s coming in over the weekend and what if he’s caught outside during it?!? He’s not always anxious, but it can strike him at any moment, and when that happens the change is abrupt: he’ll go from lounging in the sun to running back and forth in a panic.

gaia_angelleft Let's Make Magic Happen! gaia_angelright Name: Pyper Nicknames: none yet Pronouns: she/her Hobbies: Music -- Pyper currently lives at a bar named Heartbreak. She loves all kinds of music, but her favorites are pop and rock. She's not shy at all and loves to belt it out along with the musicians(in cat form of course) . MAOW MAOW MAOW. She 'performs' on weekends when she isn't looking for senshi to train. It's something that makes her happy. She loves to see the smiles on everyone's faces when they listen to the music.
Fashion -- She likes coming up with outfits and pawing through fashion magazines that her current owners leave laying about. Not only will she dress up herself(as much as possible in cat form) , but she'll dress up her friends as well (this will most likely be the senshi she is attached to) , and have their pictures taken. She loves being in photos even when she's not wanted. Beware the photobombing cat! She likes to do this kind of thing all the time; aka whenever she's not busy with senshi-training.
Pros: Do you even lift? Athletic -- She's good all-around at most sport-like activities. Being strong and quick on her feet, allows her to train senshi that are also strong and agile. They can observe her dance-like movement; and practice every day with her to help learn to be graceful and precise. She's brawns over brains though, so the senshi she trains will probably be taught more agility and offensive force; instead of thinking things through logically.
Pet me! Affectionate -- She loves to rub on people for attention. Being petted by her owner reassures her that she is wanted and needed. She especially likes belly rubs and chin scratches. And she loooooves cuddles. If a person doesn't like cats and shoves her away, she gets very depressed. But sometimes she needs a reminder that not everyone is super friendly and she also needs to give them space.
Cons: Static Cling Clingy -- She likes to hang off people that are close to her. She becomes nervous if they aren't around. She's more comfortable when she can depend on people to be there for her. She is needy in this way. And it's one of the reasons she will stay in contact with her senshi family. She fears being alone.
Challenge accepted! Competitive -- She can be competitive. Especially in being a good teacher. She feels it is her duty to awaken senshi and make sure they kick butt. She gets frustrated when they don't win, anything from actual battles to games, and becomes dismayed. She feels she has failed as a teacher then; Letting it get to her. She tries to loosen up by taking her losses out on toys and cat scratch posts. But overall, she is very invested in competitions, even friendly ones. She gets carried away a lot, but she loves it. That is...until she loses.

Novels to receipts people have thrown in the trash. It became a game for her at first: how much was she able to understand. Now, it’s become a source of knowledge and understanding. Humans seem to write about anything these days. (Finding people’s diaries maybe her favorite reading yet)
Grooming -- Not a hair out of place. Arianna hates being dirty or disheveled and will spend a great deal of time making sure she looks just right. Most people might run into her taking a mini bath. She counts petting in her grooming as long as they aren’t trying to pet her the wrong way.
Pros:
Don't insult my knowledge Intellegent-- Between all that reading and her own desire to learn everything she can, Arianna likes to think she has become a wealth of knowledge. Some of that knowledge may be useless trivia but she does tend to know what is going on and where.
I only said what everyone was thinking... Forthright-- Direct and to the point. Arianna doesn't mince words nor does she hide behind the idea of politeness. If something needs to be said, she will come out and say it. If something needs to be done, she will do it. Way waste time beating around the bush when there is work to be done?
Calm Down! Calm-- It takes a lot to get Arianna worked up. She can become annoyed but she's as cool as a cucumber under pressure. Getting excited can cause someone to make a mistake. Take a deep breath, and think before acting.
Cons:
I can do it Independant-- Asking for help is one of the hardest things for Arianna. She believes she should be able to do anything she needs to do on her own and relying on someone else is a weakness. If someone does end up stepping in to help, don't expect a thank you. (But she may leave them a small token silently)
I'm not A boss, I'm THE Boss Bossy-- Her direct and blunt manner of speaking often does come across as being rather overbearing. When she 'suggests' you do something, she is more telling something what they should do. Go against it and they will be in for an 'I told you so' moment.
All Up in Other People's Business Nosy-- Arianna has to be in the know and know all. While she doesn't need to be the center of attention, she has the nasty habit of including herself in things that may not involve her just to know what is going on. After all, every little bit of information must be collected and stored!
