Destiny City’s Star Festival began a few years ago as a quiet gesture of the city to promote goodwill and positive change in the community. The city celebrated it's 100th birthday last year and the City Council is continuing with the celebration. Promoting goodwill towards each other and pride in the city and all its communities, the Destiny City Star Festival is focused on the bigger picture. We all wish for a better world--so why not make that wish a reality? The city has set up numerous events to promote a little bit of fun while pushing towards making the city a better place. The Town Square is buzzing with activity; the City has given out permits for stalls to sell wares, promote programs, or recruit volunteers for various citywide ventures. Colorful decorations hang not only on official buildings, but local stores and residential houses as well. If you’ve ever wanted to help the city flourish--and make a little magic--now’s a good time to get involved! This year we've prepared some RPs and prompts that everyone will be able to participate in! More information can be found in the Ticket Opportunities list in the next post! Even if you're not interested in any of our super cool prizes, we hope a little roleplay might be enough to get everyone involved! Roleplay opportunities will only be open from now until ~9pm EST on July 5th. The raffle will be rolled after a ticket list is compiled and winners will have 72 hours to contact the shop mule, The Space Cauldron, with their preference list. Anyone who does not respond within 72 hours will forfeit their slot. This year we are also introducing a new IC Prize--Enhancements! Please read the prize list below for more information! While the majority of our events are designed to be playable by a wide variety of factions, we understand that not every group may have access to all plots. For players with characters that cannot participate due to IC or OOC reasons, players are allowed to play a disposable. Please see our information on disposables a few posts down! If you are a new player with no characters and want to join, you can! You can play a disposable for now, however all new players get their first civilian (non-arted) for free; you just have to get a stamp! If you need help finding information about this, please feel free to post in thread, in our Discord, or to message the shop mule directly!

Ticket Opportunities
Tickets can only be earned through Event Roleplays or Event Prompts, so you must be active in the shop if you are interested in participating in the raffle! Each ORP or game will have specific instructions, so please make sure to read the rules when you are signing up! The shop will be hosting both an ORP and prompts this year. Links to everything will be kept in this post, and all prompts will be listed here as well!
This year, there is a ticket cap! You can participate in writing for as many ORPs, Mini Games, or prompts as you like, but no player can claim more than five tickets towards the raffle. If you want to write for a prompt for requirements, or just for fun, that’s fine! But this year we are limiting each player to five tickets only. There will be plenty of opportunities to earn tickets, with a variety of events and prompts--this way, everyone has a chance to pick and choose what they want to participate in instead of trying to force themselves to respond to everything to earn raffle tickets!
To claim a ticket, you will need to fill out the following code and post it in this thread! I AM CLAIMING A TICKET Link to thread: [link to the thread you are claiming for; if you are responding to a prompt, make sure you indicate which prompt you are responding to either in this form or the thread!] ORPsWhile each shop run ORP will have its own rules, a few general things are important to keep in mind! While players can include as many of their official characters as they want, you can only earn one raffle ticket per ORP. This means, regardless of how many characters you play, you can only earn one raffle ticket. All events will be run for civilians only, so there will be no powering up! To earn a raffle ticket, you must write at least 500 words, though if you have multiple characters this can be spread out across them. You still need to write 500 words for a character if you are using a roleplay as a growth requirement for them! Open Events:Destiny City Star Festival Charity Event ORPClosed Events:N/A PromptsEach Prompt may only be counted towards a raffle ticket once per player. This means that if you respond to the same prompt with multiple characters, only the first one will count for a raffle ticket. We will make a small announcement any time a new prompt is put up, so check back here regularly to see if there's anything new you are interested in writing! All prompt responses must be posted in the Mini-Event subforum and can be written as a solo, a regular, or a battle (if applicable!). These should be labelled [Event-S], [Event-R], or [Event-B]. If you roleplay a disposable, these will not count towards any growth requirements for them, but if you are roleplaying with someone who has a disposable, it can still count for growth for your official character. More information on disposables can be found in the next post! To receive a raffle ticket for a prompt, you must write at least five hundred words and should include the prompt either in your first post or in the code you post in this thread to claim a ticket. The roleplay does not have to be finished in order to claim a ticket, but it will need to be finished before it can be used for growth requirements. While these events are written so that you only need a civilian to participate, you can play a powered character if it seems feasible! Current Prompts:Quote: The Wishing Tree (1): A Destiny City Star Festival Tradition to be held every year; In Town Square, there is a beautiful tree with spreading branches. It is tall, but the lowest branches are easily reached. The city has decorated the tree with small, starlike ornaments and glistening lights. Thick leaves and beautiful purple flowers dangle from the branches, along with a myriad of different colored papers with handwritten wishes. Next to the tree is a stack of blank paper with twine attached, and a handwritten sign that explains: Write your wish on a sheet of paper and tie it to the tree. Take one wish off the tree and do your best to grant it. When you have granted the wish, bury the paper in the park. The papers are biodegradable and filled with seeds. There are no rules for wishing, but you are encouraged to wish for something vague enough that it can be interpreted in many ways so that it can be granted; you do not write your name on it, but it is encouraged to write something that doesn’t wish for self gain, but rather something that can make the world a better place. Some wishes dangling from the tree already include things like “I wish there wasn’t so much litter in the park,” “I wish someone would clean the graffiti off the old historic buildings,” and “I wish there were more volunteers at the shelter.” If you choose to use the Wishing Tree, what do you wish for? If your wish is private, you may write it on the paper and choose a spot in the park and bury it yourself instead of hanging it on the tree. Quote: The Wishing Tree (2) : Your wish is only said to come true if you grant the wish of someone else; when you write your wish, you must also take one off of the tree and do your best to grant it. What wish do you pull off, and how do you intend to ‘grant’ it? Do you work with someone else to grant this wish, or do you work alone? You may get approval from another player to use the wish their character hung up, but no names are attached so your character may not ever know who wrote it! Quote: It wouldn’t be a star festival without a meteor shower! Right on time, a beautiful array of shooting stars graces the night sky. Most meteor fragments appear to be little white or yellow lights streaming across the sky, but if you watch closely enough you may find that some of them seem to be pink, blue, and even purple in color. The scientists have reported that it’s just different components burning up as they enter the atmosphere, but there’s something undeniably magical about it. Quote: Strange things appear in Destiny City all the time, so nothing seems out of the ordinary about what might look like discarded trash, broken glass, or pieces of broken jewelry. If anyone were to lean in for a closer inspection, they might find a beautiful, gemstone like object that is shaped a bit like a star. They come in an array of colors and almost seem to have some sort of light sparkling in them. Note: Each character can only find one of these! While you may choose to keep the strange star fragment, once you acquire one you can interact with a special event NPC and exchange it for another item. Information can be found here!Quote: The City has been lit up for the Star Festival with banners and twinkling decorations strewn off the windowsills of shop fronts and windows. The gardeners at one particular park have put their heart and soul into creating a fairy's paradise: Fairy lights have been carefully dangled from trees to make strings of stars, little beaded jewels have been hidden among the hedges, and even the old cobwebs have been sprayed with just a touch of glitter. The park is open to everyone and the citizens of Destiny City have been invited to respectfully explore the hidden wonders that have been placed throughout. The park is magical enough on its own but there have also been reports of a strange, ethereal and shimmering stranger in the park. The glimmer of a beautiful costumed figure fluttering through the park has been passed around as rumor, and no matter what anyone claims to see, no one can take a picture of it. As if simply seeing some magical figure isn’t mysterious enough, there are also reports of mischief and small pranks being played at the same time this figure seems to appear. Quote: Deep in the Fairy Wonderland, a beautiful fountain has been decorated to match the theme. This fountain has been here for years, but there’s something different about it beyond just the little stars and lights that have been set up around it. The fountain is filled with coins from wishes, though there seem to be a few strange, foreign coins. Underneath one of the lower parts of the fountain, hidden in an ornately carved swirl, is a small golden bell with long golden chain dangling from it. If rung, a beautiful, tinkling sound echoes around the fountain as if many little bells are ringing. There is a faint hint of laughter hidden in the chiming bells. Amidst the tinkling bells and laughter, a little voice that sounds far away seems to ask for a wish. Whether or not one is requested, after a moment the song of the bells begins to fade. If the bell is rung again, nothing strange happens and it functions simply as a normal bell however, for the rest of the night, you hear the sound of giggling and tinkling bells following behind you. Quote: The Destiny City Reservoir opened about a year ago and is an easy escape from the big city. It’s a five minute drive outside of the Eastern side of town and features clear water and sandy beaches--although, the sand here is notorious for squeaking when you step on it. It’s a hot spot for all fun summer activities, but it’s been back in the news recently for mysterious reports of some strange, aquatic monster. Some accounts say they’ve spotted a twenty foot long, snake like creature capable of rearing a long neck high above the water. It’s hard to tell if the videos are doctored, but there are too many rumors to dismiss easily. Something strange might be lurking deep in the water. Are you the type to investigate this or is it enough to dampen your waterfront plans? While you may not ever actually interact with the supposed cryptid, you can spot a strange creature in the distance. And, who knows what youma are crawling in the area, anyway?Quote: The city is looking for heroes! Not super heroes, but the everyday heroes that live in Destiny City. City Council has asked for nominations for these heroes that deserve a little extra recognition for making the city a better place. Posters have been hung in a few prominent locations around the city, searching for “The People’s Heroes”. The posters are quite clear: anyone can be nominated for any reason whatsoever, they don't need to have performed a heroic deed by any stretch of the imagination--all they need to be is a hero to the person nominating them. The nominations aren’t competitive by any standards; participants are asked to fill out a small form either online or in person. Nominations are collected and are televised nightly on a local news channel for the duration of the event; the notes of recognition are also delivered to the nominees when applicable. Do you fill out a nomination, or are you the recipient of one? Are you watching the news for anyone familiar that you might know? Quote: Destiny City is hosting an annual scavenger hunt during the Star Festival to encourage people to get out and explore their city. The prize for turning in a completed scavenger hunt is a coupon booklet and a few free tickets to upcoming city events. Even if you aren’t interested in the prize, the scavenger hunt is specifically designed to take you through the city to showcase a few historic buildings, some art installations, and some of the city’s greatest accomplishments. While many of the places are familiar, during your explorations you come across a building you’ve never seen before--something that feels out of time. You’ve been in the area countless times before, so how did you miss this place? When you lay eyes on the building, you feel a strange timelessness and have the distinct sensation of being a part of something bigger. Briefly, you may see flashes of some distant past--a flickering memory that you can’t quite place or fully form. It’s hard to make out, but at some point in time you have the distinct impression of a faded figure taking your hand and telling you to do something. They sound hopeful and encouraging, like they really believe in you. By the time you blink, the visions are gone, the building is gone. The only thing that remains is a beautiful little garden and a plaque so faded that you can’t make out the inscription. Special Event Prompts:Special Event Prompts will lead up to an associated ORP; while you can complete these prompts at any point in time during the span of the event, ICly they will all occur before the associated ORP.Quote: The Charity Benefit (1) - A number of the local businesses in the area have come together to organise a charity benefit. In addition to a silent auction, there is also an evening charity ball. The community has been wanting to raise funds to fix up a few public areas for some time now and in the spirit of the Star Festival, these businesses have donated several prizes to the event to encourage people to attend. As one of the local residents you have been kindly invited to attend! Formal attire is encouraged but only required if you plan to attend the Ball. Quote: The Charity Benefit (2) - The Charity Benefit has drawn a social crowd and they seem keen to make conversation as well as friends. The room is full of compliments and kind words and every now and then it looks like you're catching someone's eye and one person in particular seems to be paying more attention to you than the others. The stranger lingers by a display table showcasing some of the donated auction items. They look familiar but you can’t quite place why. If you try to approach them, the stranger suddenly seems to disappear before your eyes. It might be easy to assume they got lost in the crowd, but any examination of the room makes it hard to tell where they’ve gone. More than that, it seems like sometimes you catch a glimpse of them in one part of the room only to see them disappear in the blink of an eye and immediately appear across the room in a different spot entirely. It’s impossible to get close to them, and the sensation of eyes on you never really fades. Quote: The Charity Benefit (3) - Now is as good of a time as any to examine one of the many tables displaying items for the auction. The table is full of donations, both new and old, and something catches your eye. It’s only when you get closer to the item that you have some sort of fierce, emotional response. It might be nostalgia or happiness, or sadness, or fear, or anger--any emotion is possible. There doesn’t seem to be any reason to feel this way; the item can be any that you choose. Though the emotion doesn’t linger for long, there’s no clear reason as to why it inspired such feelings. Is the item worth bidding on? Or running away from?

Disposables
If you don't have a character in the shop yet, that's okay! Players may use a quest character or a character they create on the spot to participate in event only roleplays and prompts. You can only roleplay your character in the Mini-Event subforum. When setting up a new thread, you must put an asterisk next to your character's name to indicate that they are not officially won. For example, you might write a solo based off of a prompt and it would be titled [Event Solo] Title [Name*]. If you are participating in an ORP, the rules may be different so please read each thread accordingly!
If you are a new member of the shop and do not have a character in the shop and want to respond to a prompt by writing either a solo or roleplay, please fill out the following form and put it in a spoiler in your first post! Even if you have filled it out for other events or threads, you must include this in every new thread you are involved in. Character’s name: Age: Appearance: Personality Traits: (list 2-4 virtues and an equal number of flaws; these can be one word descriptions of each trait and do not need explanation)

Remember, your character must be unawakened and human, and should be a fairly believable character. If you have questions about what might be acceptable, please contact a member of our moderator staff for answers! You can also PM the shop mule The Space Cauldron and we'll get back to you as soon as possible! If you already have a character in the shop, you should not play a disposable unless all your characters are either unplayable or cannot participate. For example, if you have a character who is currently in the hospital and could not believably be involved in anything, you could play a temporary disposable. If you only have a full-youma and cannot justify them putting on a civilian glamour to participate or the prompts do not in any way relate to them, or if you have a Mauvian who does not have a civilian glamour, you can play a disposable instead-- however, you must PM the shop mule to give us a brief explanation as well as provide the character form in your PM. We just want to make sure everything checks out, so this will be a quick approval and is just to make things easier on us! Playing a disposable in this event does not mean they will die! You can quest for these characters at a later point in time, if you so choose! Remember, if the character has not been officially won and arted, none of your RPs will count towards their growth, but you are still eligible for prizes or RP related rewards! Playing a disposable during this event does not guarantee that you will receive your character, but it's a good opportunity to get your feet wet!

LIMITED TIME IC RP ITEMSThese items will only be obtainable in this Event, and possibly other future Events! While you can win these as prizes, you can also purchase them for crown tokens from now until July 20th! For more information on purchasing IC RP Items, please see this post! Before the end of the event, the IC RP Item thread will be updated to include all new RP Items released in this event! Quote: Safe Space Compass - An antique compass with a divided sun and moon theme. While it seems like a normal compass, when a button on the back is pressed, the compass will point the user towards a safe space nearby. While it can be used in any realm or location, the definition of 'safe' may depend on the location and circumstances, but the wielder will always be guided out of immediate danger to a place where they can recuperate. After ten minutes, the compass's needle will snap back to true north, and the button will become stuck, rendering it unable to be pushed again. This item must be approved for use in any event or ORP. The magic in the compass can only be used once, but it can be kept as a useful memento. Quote: Engraved Box - A small metal box with a single protruding button and the letters "SEP" engraved on the bottom of it.This strange metal box is oddly lightweight and has a single button on the side that, when pushed, emits a strange, watery like energy-wave in a five foot radius around it. Anyone within range will be struck with a strange indifference towards the box and the individual holding it. They will seem to forget you exist and simply move on as if you aren't there, as if you aren't their problem. The magic can only be activated once and will last for 60 seconds. The box can be kept as neat memento after use. Quote: Antique Charm - A small, burnished silver charm that can be unlatched to open. This little charm would make perfect company for any dress when fashioned on any chain. While it looks a little worn from the outside, when opened it emits small pulse of light. Focusing on this light will allow a single non-moving image to form from the user's past life. This image can be of someone, something or somewhere, but will only be visible to the user. The user can open this locket as many times as they would like but the image inside will remain the same. IC RP ITEMSThese IC RP Items are designed to give your character a one time ability. These are not limited edition and have been permanently added to our list of purchasable IC RP Items. Like other single use IC RP Items, these will only cost 1 Crown Token to purchase. There will be opportunities to win some of these during our event, though, so if you are interested, make sure you are keeping your eyes on things! Quote: Satin Ribbon - A beautiful piece of satin with a deep red color and a bright sheen. This ribbon is perfect as a bookmark, hair accessory or for jewelry. While it seems ordinary on its own, if you have the ribbon in your possession and come close to someone that you are destined to have a connection with, be it good or bad, a thin red string will automatically appear between the two of you, visible only to you and that person. The string will remain visible for up to three hours after it first forms and, no matter how close or far away you two are it will always adjust size to keep you connected. Once the magic ends, the red line fades from sight. The magic can only be used once, but the ribbon remains as as memento! Quote: Timeworn Record - A handheld box with a small, wax-like cylinder inside. The handheld box can be made of nearly any material and have any design; inside is a wax-like cylinder, however there may be varying degrees of technology to enhance this. A little knob must be wound and will click when ready to be released. Upon release, an ancient song will play; depending on player choice the music will either be somewhat smothered or completely clear but no matter what it will be a traditional song from their past life's homeworld. This song can be played as many times as the character likes, but once per day they can enact a magic that makes them feel as though they are sitting before a live band back when their homeworld was at its prime. If they close their eyes they can smell the air, feel the temperature, and listen to the music. It has a distinct impression of being home. Any guests listening to the music while the magic is active may not feel it as strongly unless they had a close bond with the user in their past lives. Quote: Rewind Charm - A decorative, palm sized, circular charm with an engraved button in the center. This intricately carved charm seems to have been designed so that the user could fiddle with it; parts of it twist and shift though there doesn’t seem to be any particular purpose for this aside from entertainment. When the Rewind Charm is pointed at an inanimate object and the button pressed, it has the can ‘rewind’ the object back to a previous state in time. It cannot break an item down into components but it can restore it from significant damage. It cannot fix large building structures, however it can repair large objects, such as statues. This can be used on an item on Earth or on Homeworlds. It can be used in Mirrorspace and Negaspace as well, however you may need staff permission to determine what can be restored in Chaos oriented locations. This item can be used once before the magic is expired, at which point in time it can be kept as a neat memento! This item can be used freely in one on one roleplays but please speak to the host of any shop or player run event to confirm that you can use this item during their event! PERMANENT ACCESSORIESThese are a special type of IC RP Item that do not expire upon use! A player will be able to win these in events or purchase them for 3 Crown Tokens! These are a permanent edition to the shop! Each character can only earn one of each item, and items are non transferable from character to character or player to player. There is no limit to how many a player can acquire, so long as they have enough characters to give them to! Please be mindful that, as a new introduction to the shop, there may be hiccups or adjustments made to this system. These items may be owned by civilians, but not all of the items may be usable by civilians. If you have questions about how a civilian may use one of the below items, please contact The Space Cauldron before purchasing one for them so we can answer any questions! Quote: Antique War-Horn - An old, hollowed out rams horn with a silver-tipped point. When this horn is blown it emits a low, crooning wail. It is not unpleasant but it is somewhat eerie. After a few seconds of the strange noise, the wielder will shimmer and a decoy will step forward. There is no discernible difference between the two visually, however the decoy is transparent and can neither cause nor receive damage. The decoy will serve as a distraction, charging at the opponent or mimicking the actions of the wielder. It has no sentient capabilities and cannot speak. The decoy will disappear within 60 seconds before flickering away. This item can only be used once every 24 hours. While these all have a basic design, the items can have slightly varying appearances between characters to better fit aesthetics! Permanent Accessories can go on a character’s official shop art, but please make sure you work with your artist so it matches the description! ICly these items can be acquired in different locations depending on which faction your character is in! Most commonly, Senshi can find them on their Homeworld, Knights on their Wonder, Dark Mirror Senshi in Mirrorspace, and Negaverse Agents in Negaspace/the Rift. If you have a plot where your character acquires it in a different fashion, please send a PM to The Space Cauldron to discuss it! These items cannot be taken apart or repurposed for other means; they are all magically based and seem to be constructed of components that are hard to identify, making them impossible to replicate. ENHANCEMENTSEnhancements are a new addition to the shop and function as unique character boosts. There are several different types of enhancements, though some will only work for specific factions. Enhancements are somewhat rare but are designed to be special abilities for your character and can be customized on a character by character basis. They will be available in events, quest fairies and player rewards, and for purchase for 3 Crown Tokens. While a single character may have multiple enhancements, there is an IC cooldown of one month between when they can obtain the enhancements. Once you win or purchase an enhancement you must discuss with staff how you would like to use it. A character can have multiple enhancements, but can only have one type of each faction applicable enhancements. A character may have two different passive abilities, however--one accessible in civilian form and one accessible in powered form; they can have the same passive ability in both form but it will need to be acquired twice. Enhancements can be ICly found or acquired in a number of ways, but may be found most commonly in a powered realm (such as on a homeworld, in Mirror Space, or in Negaspace) either by reaching a previously locked area, touching a magical artifact, completing a ritual, or some other magical way. The staff can work with players on how their character ICly gains the enhancement, but players are encouraged to share their ideas when they send in a PM for approval. Current enhancements include: Quote: Passive Ability (All Factions) - A passive ability is an unchanneled magic that a character naturally exudes. These abilities do not have a cooldown and do not require energy to be activated but can be turned off at will. They are not offensive and are simply a subtle magic that surrounds the character. This passive ability may reflect their theme, their sphere, their wonder, etc. or it may not. These abilities do not function while in both powered and civilian form so you will need to determine which one it affects--however, you can acquire the same passive ability for both civilian and powered if you collect two passive abilities for the character. Passive abilities are extremely unique and customizable; some examples may include a civilian being able to sense youma (like Barren Pines students), a senshi with a flower sphere being able to grow them at will, a Negaverse Agent leaving a temporary trail of their mineral behind them as they walk--any passive, non-battle enhancing trait can be worked out! Quote: Senshi Magic (White Moon Senshi, Corrupted Senshi, Dark Mirror Senshi, Mauvian Senshi) - All senshi will be eligible for an additional magic attack, up to super stage strength. This magic should reflect Super Senshi magic parameters but does not have to be related to the senshi’s current magic (it doesn’t have to be an upgrade of their basic magic like super stage magic usually is) and is instead a standalone attack that can be completely unique. It must still meet requirements and reflect the Senshi’s sphere but will give the senshi an additional set of attacks to use in battle. These must be approved by the staff; once this Enhancement is claimed, the player must contact the staff to discuss which player it is for and what their desired magic is. For approval, please format this like you would when writing the quest for your senshi’s super magic! Quote: Forgotten Spell (Negaverse Agents and Knights) - Hidden on an ancient scroll, either lost in Negaspace or at their wonder, is a spell forgotten to time. This spell is unlike Senshi magic and once read is automatically absorbed into the wielder’s weapon. Magic of this nature does not have a duration but is typically a single elemental style blast. The magic will have a radius and number of uses (typically they can have a single target in a radius of up to 20 feet and three uses, but this may differ based on magic). This magic costs no energy and effects are almost instantaneous; common examples of magic may be unleashing a fireball, an ice arrow, or an electric arc. Typically these should reflect either the Knight’s Wonder or Planetary allegiance if applicable. These will all require the player to PM the shop mule for approval. Quote: Mutations (Youma) - Typically youma have two specific abilities, either physical or magical. A mutation may either give them a physical mutation that gives them another physical another ability, or the youma can mutate and gain another magical ability. Information about both can be found in this thread. These must be PM’d to the shop mule for approval but should be written in the same format as their other abilities! Winning ProceduresAfter the tickets have been compiled into a list, rolling will begin July 7th! This will be done publicly, in this thread, and winners will have 72 hours to send a preference list to the shop mule, The Space Cauldron. If a winner does not contact the mule by that time, the they will forfeit their slot and another winner will be rolled! Once a player is rolled, all of their tickets will be pulled from the ticket list; you can only be rolled once! If you are rolled, you may give your slot to a friend only if they are not already on the winners list. Swapping positions with another player on the list is permitted. If you have questions about claiming tickets or other Raffle procedures, please PM In the Name of the Mule and we will get back to you as soon as possible!

Mini-GamesThis year we have a few mini-games to participate in! You can find information about each Mini-Game in their respective threads! While you cannot win raffle tickets from participation alone, if you write 500 words (either as a solo or RPing within the thread) based on the Mini-Game and your scores for any character, you can claim one ticket. Complete instructions and details are in the Mini Game threads, so please check these out! So if you aren't playing for tickets, what are you playing for?Participation in the Mini-Events can earn you IC RP Items! You can select either our current Event IC RP items or any of our permanent IC RP items! You can only win one of these items doing this method, so if you win in one mini-game you cannot win in another! If the mini-games have unique prizes that cannot be earned anywhere else (such as the necklaces in the Scavenger hunt) you can still participate to win them ICly but you will forfeit the OOC item prize, which will be rolled to go to someone else. Individual Participation RewardsSometimes luck isn’t on anyone’s side; we are introducing a new option that rewards participation without any competitive nature! For every five roleplays or solos that reach 500 words, a player can claim one IC RP item--from our regular pool of one time use IC Items, from our current Limited Edition IC RP Item Pool, or any item from a previous Limited Edition IC RP Item Pool (with the exception of any items that were given out as special/exclusive rewards in certain RPs). You cannot claim an IC RP Item or any Item that was winnable in a player run event, however you have access to any IC RP Item given out in a similar staff run event. You can claim up to three one time use IC RP Items through this method! However, if you participate in ten roleplays or solos that reach 500 words, you will have the option to claim one permanent accessory in place of one IC RP Item! This means, if you do fifteen roleplays or solos, you could claim two one time use IC RP Items and one permanent accessory, or you could claim three one time use IC RP Items. These roleplays or solos can come from ORPs, prompts, or mini games; you can repeat prompts to count for this! These roleplays do not have to be finished before the month ends, but we will be keeping our eyes on roleplays to make sure they are moving forward; we want to reward players for their activity, but if roleplays are being started and only played to word count without actually finishing, this will negatively impact how we choose to release more permanent accessories to the shop. Please try to finish all of the roleplays you start! To claim these RP Items (one time use items or permanent accessories) you will need to use the following form and post in this thread: I would like to turn in (#) roleplays for an IC RP Item! link Trading for: (Which item are you claiming?) Giving to: (Which of your characters will be obtaining this? (This is only necessary if claiming for a permanent accessory!)

Please also remember to edit your claim into your IC RP Item Log thread post! If you are claiming an item based on your participation, you cannot gift this item to anyone else! This is for you, and you alone! Star CharmsIn order to commemorate Destiny City's first annual Star Fest, Destiny City has been handing out Free Star Charms! ICly these are being distributed from participating businesses and vendor stalls, from volunteers at historical landmarks, and during local events. Your character may also be ICly given one or find them while out and about. OOCly, your character may obtain one star charm for each roleplay/solo they participate in where you write at least 500 words for them; while you do not have to have your character receiving or finding one of these charms on screen in the roleplay, the roleplay you are using to claim the charm should mention the charm at least once. There is no limit to how many charms a player or character may obtain, but each character can only obtain one per roleplay. ICly these are collectible and OOCly they can be kept as souvenirs in character journals; they do not have any known magical properties. You can claim a star charm for your character and later give it away to another character. There are charms in seven colors for character to collect! The Amber Star Charm, the Gold Star Charm, the Emerald Star Charm, the Sapphire Star Charm, the Violet Star Charm, the Fuchsia Star Charm, and the Crimson Star Charm are all available! To claim a Star Charm, simply post in this thread with the following code: I AM CLAIMING A STAR CHARM! Character Obtaining the Star Charm: [Link to Journal] Color of Star Charm: [Which color are they claiming? You can claim multiples of the same charm for the same character if you like!] Roleplay: [Link to the RP or solo; you must have written at least 500 words to claim!]
