A narrow, tall alleyway in Hargeon Town's commercial district. It is dirty, dingey, and dark, ending at what seems to be a solid brick wall. Dumpsters line one side of the alley, making it even narrower than it already is.

As Guy approached the alley, he slowed, looking more casual as the crowd thinned out and became as inconspicuous as he could. Despite his overall suspicious and greasy demeanor, the man was a master of blending in, even when going against the flow of a crowd. Without even waiting for Katashi, he slipped into the alley and behind a dumpster before peeking back around the side for his hired help.

| Guild- Siren Curse | Rank- A-rank | Magic- Dark Écriture, Illusion & Reflector | ☯ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ☯ Katashi trailed after his new...acquaintance. He made sure to keep a respectable distance from the man for the time being, however. There was no need to give the impression that the two of them were in league with one another. It was best, in fact, that they each appeared to merely be walking in a similar direction. This allowed both men the ability to deny any partnership should trouble arise. Likewise, it provided the Illusion mage the opportunity to further observe the slick-mannered male. Already, he had garnered another bit of information to store away. It appeared as if the man was adept at blending into the crowd. If Katashi had not known how to keep track of a target amidst a large crowd, he surely would have lost him among the citizens within the marketplace. He is quite skilled, he acknowledged. There are not many who have perfected this particular skill set. Even among his own guildmates there were few who could seamlessly melt into society.
Given his impressive feat, Katashi found himself feeling more wary of this stranger. The ability was valuable for his line of work, granted, but that also meant the man could utilize his talents at inopportune moments. Moments that might place Katashi or his guildmates in peril. I will have to keep closer watch of him, the dark-haired male surmised, proceeding to the entrance of the alleyway the other had journeyed into. No matter if they had struck an accord, he would not lower his guard for this one. ☯ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ☯

When Katashi joined him in the alleyway, Guy smirked in satisfaction, and slipped further down the alley, seemingly unaware of Katashi's increasing wariness of him. " Okay, so this mook is probably gonna be here soon. The general plan is for you to stand behind me and look real menacing. I'll do the talkin, and if he leaves peacefully, you won't even hafta do nothin, and you get paid as we agreed. If he decides to make this difficult, I'll have ya rough im up, and we get ya paid extra. Deal?" He seemed nervous, but genuine in his intent. He kept peeking over his shoulder towards the entrance to the alleyway, and further down past another dumpster near a dead end.

| Guild- Siren Curse | Rank- A-rank | Magic- Dark Écriture, Illusion & Reflector | ☯ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ☯ The alleyway was narrow and dark. Buildings rose up on either side. Their walls consisted of the slickest of stone. The sides of which were littered with trash and debris of various kinds, muck and grime coating most of it. It was obvious this particular alleyway saw little traffic. Quite possibly the reason Guy and the “mook” chose to meet here. Even the entrance was hidden enough to prevent prying eyes should they not want their business interrupted. Katashi did not find comfort in this; on the contrary, he felt almost entrapped by the security afforded. Perhaps it was the way the man had slunk into the alleyway, or how he remarked on the other that was to meet him, but the dark-haired male could not suppress his sense of wariness. There are too many uncertainties. Katashi prided himself on knowing everything there was to know about a situation or individual. He was not afforded as much here, and that unsettled him. Still, an agreement was made. Despite being a dark mage, he was a man of his word. The Illusion mage would stick to the accord until it reached its conclusion. “If that is what it takes.” Katashi inclined his head. “I will do what is needed.” Silently, he added, And that includes teaching a valuable lesson should you prove yourself untrustworthy. For now, however, all that could be done was to watch and to wait for the mysterious other's arrival. Only then could the dark mage determine his...client's true agenda. ☯ ████████████████████████████████████████████████ ☯
