» Dark Écriture: Teleportation
Description: Katashi is able to teleport by turning himself into many runes. These runes float in the air freely and go to the place where they unite to form his body again.
» Dark Écriture: Fear
Description: After writing a series of runes on his target, Katashi will slowly force the opponent to lose courage, breaking their will to fight and causing them uncontrollable fear of death.
» Dark Écriture: Pain
Description: Katashi writes runes on his opponent, which will inflict immense pain on them without actually dealing any damage to their body. This spell can also be cast from a longer range. By creating runes, he summons several magical beams that are directed to attack his enemy. Alternatively, this spell can be cast differently by swinging Katashi's arm repeatedly in a slicing motion, releasing a volley of beams.

Description: After writing runes on himself, Katashi gains dark purple magical wings that allow him to fly.
» Dark Écriture: Absolute Shadow
Description: By writing runes on himself, Katashi turns into a dark-colored armored knight. This spell appears to increase his power and speed, even allowing him to produce an electric shockwave for melee purposes.
» Dark Écriture: Reflect
Description: By writing runes in thin air, Katashi can reflect an incoming projectile.
» Dark Écriture: Destruction
Description: Katashi slashes the target with his chokutō, inflicting great damage onto them.

Description: Katashi slashes the enemy with a sword, and writes runes that poison the target.

» » Dark Écriture: Suffering
Description: Writing runes on his target, Katashi amplifies the already-present pain, inflicting even harsher pain unto the victim.
» Dark Écriture: Death
Description: Katashi creates four runes in the air which turn into a volley of sparks that inflict great damage to the target. If not ceased in time, the spell has the capability of causing death.
» Dark Écriture: Darkness
Description: By writing runes on himself, Katashi turns into a dark-colored, demonic creature, with horns coming out of his head and his right eye covered with scales. This spell increases his strength and allows him to use Darkness Magic.
» Dark Écriture: Memory
Description: A combination of Illusion and Dark Écriture. By writing runes on his target's body, Katashi is able to bring forth any latent memories, utilizing his illusion magic to give physical presence to said memory. This is most useful when gathering information from an enemy or when trying to determine truthfulness. The process itself is rather painful to the target, but also requires a larger amount of magic due to using two different forms of magic at the same instance.

» Invisible Scythe
Description: By manipulating air with his Reflector, Katashi can generate blades formed of air, which can be utilized as a ranged attack by sending them flying towards a target. The generated slicing waves can vary in size and numbers, ranging from ones a small as a few inches to larger ones capable of leaving long slashes on massive opponents. By waving one of his hands diagonally before himself, Katashi can also generate a much larger slash, which is strong enough to easily slice through several stone buildings, cutting them to pieces.
» Invisibility
Description: By distorting the light around himself, Katashi is capable of hiding away his body, effectively vanishing from sight in a blueish flash and then becoming invisible, something which allows him to move around unnoticed. While in such form, Katashi is also shown capable of levitating in the air, rapidly appearing and disappearing from sight as if he was teleporting. However, it should be noted that perceptive Eye Magic such as Heaven's Eye can still spot hidden users.
» Distort Shield
Description: Before an incoming attack can reach him, Katashi twists it, distorting its trajectory and sending it elsewhere, thus remaining unscathed. Katashi, by affecting the area around himself, can flawlessly shield himself from large barrages of fast-moving attacks, which can even be redirected to be sent back to the one who employed them. He can even utilize it to reflexively distort incoming attacks while asleep. However, when Katashi is employing his refraction powers on the surrounding area, he is incapable of using them elsewhere, and vice versa. Thus, when another area is being targeted, he cannot properly shield himself.
» Phantom Nail
Description: Katashi creates the illusion of a hand with giant nails that cut the enemy. The length of the nails depends on his magic power at the time.

ADVANCED SPELLS
» Spiral Pain
Description: Katashi swipes one of his arms before himself, with the index finger outstretched. This causes the intended target to be caught within a vortex of distorted air, which seemingly strikes them with incredible brute force. This attack is powerful enough to shatter Heaven's Wheel Armor and inflict heavy damage upon the wearer.
» Nightmare
Description: By refracting and twisting light with his Reflector, Katashi can create illusions. Subspells of this are: 1) Phantom Fear- Katashi creates the illusion that he has transformed into a giant monster. The monster can extend its nails at will, and is capable of easily piercing straight through a person with them. 2) Darkness Magic Illusion- Katashi creates the illusion of being able to use Darkness Magic Spells. The "spell" created by this illusion seemingly creates an enormous explosion, capable of engulfing a significant portion of a structure as large as Nirvana. Another use is creating an illusion of the spell Dark Rondo and shooting it at the target, mimicking their death. 3) Human Illusion- Katashi creates the illusion of a real person, impersonating their strength, personality and even their Magic.

» Heavenly Wolf
Description: Katashi raises his arms above his head and creates an illusion of a humongous wolf which can easily grow to the size of a one-story building. The wolf's frightening face and forelegs appear to be covered in a dark flame pattern, whilst its paws sprout saplings similar to the ones seen on Tenrou Island. Such a creature is noted to appear as being incredibly life-like.
» Tenrou Soldier
Description: Katashi raises his arms above his head and creates an illusion of a whole army of knights wielding swords, shields covered with an insignia of wings and wearing armor.
» Guardian Eagle
Description: Katashi summons a massive eagle-like creature with big wings, with spouted saplings on his shoulders and claws, resembling those on the Tenrou Island.

╠ ʙ ᴀ ᴄ ᴋ ɢ ʀ ᴏ ᴜ ɴ ᴅ x ɪ ɴ ғ ᴏ ╣: ◆ Pᴇʀsᴏɴᴀʟɪᴛʏ: Katashi is a reserved individual. He does not jump into fights quickly, preferring to sit back and study his opponent for some time. When he speaks, which is rarely, it tends to come off as arrogance because he believes that his way is the only way to bring peace. Katashi believes that only the strong- those capable of avoiding the pain of loss- will be able to survive in the new world, and that any form of weakness shouldn't be tolerated. In this way, as well as many others, he can be extremely stubborn. Even with his guildmates, Katashi can be rather difficult to handle due to his mysterious nature and rigid viewpoint. However, there is a softer side of Katashi that nobody ever sees, for he keeps it buried deep within himself so as not to become weak.
◆ Bɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ: Katashi had the ideal childhood growing up. He had a loving father, mother, and an older sister. They all lived in a small town, not far from the Lamia Scale headquarters. His father and mother made their living working as mages for said guild, his sister taking an apprenticeship in a magic shop within the town. As Katashi grew, he vowed to join Lamia Scale as well so that he might go on missions with his parents and the other members.
At the age of eight, he managed to learn magic, spiking the current Guild Master's interest. The Master allowed the young mage to join the guild under the stipulation that he become stronger in order to protect his now expanded family. Katashi, of course, agreed with vehemence, relishing the looks of pride amongst his family. Everything had fallen into place and things couldn't have been better.
All of that was too change, however. One day, the town came under attack from a dark guild. The members of Lamia Scale fought valiantly, putting their heart and soul into protecting the town until finally vanquishing the evil. Unfortunately, the price of their victory came at a heavy cost. Katashi and his family had joined in the battle, but quickly became outnumbered and outranked. In the blink of an eye, Katashi's entire world turned upside down as he watched his entire family being slaughtered in front of him.
He, too, had been injured during the fray but felt nothing aside from the pain in his heart and mind. After that fight, Katashi grew disillusioned with the world that had taken his family from him, as well as the guild that had been unable to protect his family. Katashi left Lamia Scale, swearing that he would change the world so that nobody would have to feel such pain again. Eventually, he came across Siren Curse- a guild which promised to help him achieve his goals. Katashi joined and now seeks to rid the world of those weak enough to bear the pain of loss. His motto stating that "If you bear the pain of loss, then you were simply not strong enough to live in the new world."
