Taking the sights in, Hikari would make her way to her apartment in the residential district. Upon entering, she would place her weapons next to her bed, and her messenger bag on her bed. Removing her personal effects from her bag, she would unpack before getting undressed. Folding her clothes neatly and putting them to the side, she would take her hand towel into the bathroom with her to dry herself after showering. It had been a short journey from the home away from her new home, but she found herself reminiscing while under the water about the memories she'd gained while working for the village. Snapping back into reality she would finish her shower, dry off, and retire to her bed for the day. She was tired and a good rest seemed appropriate.
Lord Lin-Yu, along with two guards would work his way through the Residential districts of Gurinbare, until he found the apartments of the woman he had spoken to only a few days prior. Now that she had been given the time to settle in and make herself at home. Lin-Yu hated putting the new blood immediately to work, but she was a Shinobi, with ties to the Emperor and that meant she had to have some modicum of skill, and knowledge. Knowledge of herbs like the Emperor had was the most important.
A gentle knock at the door would be his announcement of arrival.
"Mistress Akira? On behalf of the Empire, we have a job for you. It requires you to travel a distance outside of the City, however, we need you to travel to the Golden Light forest to Gather some medicinal herbs for the apothecaries. The Medical Guildsmen are helping us with the construction of a new Hospital, and we are sending a few talented folks out to gather supplies. I'll leave a manual of goods in your mailbox, and your passport for entrance and exit from the Capital with it." The Adjutant said, before turning to leave.
"We will need at least 5 kits worth of materials from Golden Light to begin some key work, so please, do hurry."

From the Copper District, Sango made her way to the Residential District. Since her arrival, she found the Inn to be quite a popular spot to meet new and interesting people. While she was grateful for Sato and the precautions he made to make sure she received instruction under The Nightingale, there was something about working a simple job that quickly dulled any excitement she initially had for it only moments in. It lacked the initial spark that ignited the flames of adventure and mystery; something Sango so desperately craved since the inactivity of her former profession. The only thing that remedied this craving, albeit temporarily, was performing. She spent years honing her skill with various instruments, training her voice to reach pitches with perfection, and training her body rigorously to move in ways that provoked a sense of wonder in all who watched her. Performance arts was her passion above anything else, giving her an outlet where she could express the very being of her soul to the world.
The Inn became a popular place for her to do just that: express herself. While not well-known, regulars recognized her as a typical street performer. On any given day or when it was requested, Sango would play music at the Inn to entertain guests. Upon entering the Inn, she greeted the waitress with a friendly wave and took a seat at one of the tables. Aside from a drink (of water, obviously - she's not old enough!), Sango ordered nothing else and tipped the waitress generously for her service. A single sip, and her treasured flute was brought to her lips, playing a gentle tune to pass the time and forget about the boredom nagging her, at least for a little while. ♪

Even while fast asleep, Hikari was ready to be up at a moment's notice. As soon as the first knock sounded, her eyes snapped open and she began getting dressed in her spare clothes and gathering her things while she listened to Lin-Yu's orders. Shortly after Lin-yu turned his back to the door, it would open. Hikari would collect the items from her mailbox and leave for the forest, greeting the lord as she passed by him.

All done! Himawari got herself cleaned up and dropped her clothes off so they could be washed. She was wearing the same kind of kimono as she usually does. It seems that Himawari likes the same style. Alrighty-o! Now the mission was on. She was to stay in the districts will looking for a circus performer and become his or her friend. How to become friends!? It can't be hard! ... Would it? No matter. This blonde haired girl was not nervous as she boldly had been announcing at every shop, restaurant and even houses, looking for a circus performer. Sadly, no one was hearing her. They were used to the blonde girl outburst. She can only startle a tourist or new civilizens. Himawari, despite being loud and talkative, had became a ghost of the Gurinbare-to. Only noticed when one wanted to notice her. What was next? Ohh! The inn! She was going try that! With a determined smile, she busted in, "HAI GUYS! It's me! I'm looking for a circus performer!"The patrons in the inn became quiet for a moment as if its a pause to consider if what they heard was important or a warning. Once it was determined that it was just that blondie girl, the voices in the room resumed to it's volume as if nothing had happen, which was the norm. "Aw dang it. Was hoping to find one here. Hmm I could try the clothing shop next.. or maybe the forge! He could made ... what the heck can a blacksmith make that a circus performer needs!?" Baby blues eyed girl head right on out to continue on the search. Surely it can't be that impossible.

S A N G O - "KNIVES" - O S A D A
The melody of her flute filled the inn, Sango falling into a trance, focusing on nothing more than her song and the memories it brought her. Some of the surrounding citizens ceased what they were doing to listen, while others continued as they were, allowing the music to serve as soothing background noise. The overall atmosphere of the Inn now was calming, even those entering after a hard day's work from the forge would find their stresses slowly melting away. This atmosphere was abruptly interrupted by the sound of child's voice, yelling at the top of their lungs. Sango's flute playing stopped, and whomever the child was had garnered every citizen inside of the Inn's attention - momentarily. Beyond the girl, the eerie sight of the sky was something to behold. Sango could admit she lost a sense of time since her arrival and playing music, but something seemed very off about it that she couldn't quite put her finger on.
Citizens in the Inn also took notice, some panicking and fleeing the Inn, while others looked on in confusion, curiosity, or perhaps a bit of both. The little girl didn't appear to notice it, yet was incredibly determined to find a circus performer. It was specific, to say the least, enough to put Sango on edge. The Street Rat told her she'd have to keep an eye out. Gurinbare-to was considered one of the safest areas to station the newer recruits, especially those under her mentor's tutelage, who was suddenly assassinated. No one knew who the next target's would be, if any, but being left on their own while the strongest of their crew went to investigate wasn't a good idea either. So here she was. The likeliness of another circus performer being in the city without Sango knowing of it, was very slim. Sure, there was the possibility of other entertainers, but this child's specific choice in the type of entertainer was concerning.
Sango pulled the waitress aside as she approached her table to collect her glass. "Who is that girl?" Her head motioned in the child's direction who was now walking off into the darkness. "Oh, her? That's just the Emperor's ward. She's always running around trying to get attention." Sango eyed the doorway the child just left through, her brow perking up in curiosity. What on earth did a ward of an emperor want to do with a circus performer. "She's... a little young, isn't she?" For someone who was raised wielding knives and being sent off to complete espionage tasks from a young age, she felt odd asking. Though royalty had to have different standards, right? The Emperor was a very important figure; it was unlikely they'd want a child to protect them. Sango didn't put the idea of proper training past her, but it was simply unheard of. "We all have said that." The waitress chuckled, taking Sango's glass and returning to the bar. Another generous tip was left for the information; by the time the waitress turned back towards her table, that's all she would see. The mysterious musician was nowhere to be found.
The blonde-haired girl would hear a voice call out to her in the darkness of the city streets, "Hey you. Don't you know it's a little dangerous to be walking out in the dark by yourself?" The origin of the voice came from above, and if she looked up, she'd find a girl slightly older than her sitting casually on the edge of a rooftop, looking down at her curiously. Her eyes glanced down at the sword on her hip, a mysterious glimmer of her golden irises presenting themselves to the young ward. She definitely had some capability of wielding a weapon. Sango also recalled her saying something about being a blacksmith. So perhaps it was a sword she made and was planning to sell?

Odd. Everything was rather dark. With a frown she glanced around. People were panicking. THey were running into the stores and even fights were being broke out as people were trying to steal food in panic. The guards are doing all they can to keep the citzens calm and avoid any blood spilled. The blonde haired female was rather confused to why people were freaking out? Maybe today was solar eclipse! Did everyone forgot?! OH BOY DID SHE FORGET!? Ah well. People will calm down eventurally. Careful to not run into anyone, she would be seen sliding. A woman was running, chasing after her child. The child zig zag behind Himawari, causing the mother to almost crash into her but Hima simply stepped to the left and did a half turn. Followed by a slight spin, she continued on. With a sigh, maybe today wasn't a good day to try to find the cirus performer. She just had to find one. She really wanted to help with hosting the Chuunin Exams somehow!
Sadly, the voice of the stranger went over her head. It could've been for anyone. Hima grumbled as she yawn and raised her arms over her head. With a short scratch she debated to go to the blacksmith or to the palace. "Hmm. Lin-Yu is gone! He went somewhere on an errand for Masahiro. THANK GOODNESS! He's a real stinker, that one. Now. Should I go to the blacksmith and ask if he seen any circus performer? Maybe I could try blacksmithing myself! Yea! I think I'll try it! But people are scared. Freaking out. I would help them but how? They don't listen to a kid like me. I can't wait to be an adult! I won't be bossed or ordered around anymore! OH! NO! I forgot to feed the peacocks! I can do that! Go feed the peacocks, they may be scared too! Then when this stupid solar eclipse is done, I can go to the blacksmith!" This seemed to be the norm, Himawari always usually talk to herself.

While the voice sailed over the intended target, it caught another smack in his ear and he cast eyes with singular purpose in the direction the utterance had come from. The Knight-Captain of the Gurinbare Royal Guard: Wulfram Armistead, trod a short distance behind Himawari as the sun began to grow dim and a faint red light overtook its radiance. He sighed as his eyes turned skyward from his intended target, to see the phenomena that caused the blackout.
"Eclipse. Weird." He intoned for a moment, before he looked back towards Himawari.
"I'm sure Himawari Yuki, esteemed Ward of our Lord Hatake knows better than to be out carousing the streets wantonly shouting, especially as her punishment was to remain in the Palace or in the Copper District?" The Knight called, as if to ward away the voice that stalked young Himawari, but also to keep the youth from finding herself in further trouble for her air-headedness.
[ Applies 4 Training Coupons to Learn All Hikariton Techniques ]
In truth, the knight had only been on his way home to gather a few things before heading out on a journey to see, to deliver the orders as given by the Emperor, but this darkness had already delivered some oddities to the local area and Wulfram was forced to dismount his horse and begin to light the torches and lanterns that were normally lit by systems throughout the city as people were getting trampled and knocked over just in the confusion of sudden darkness, while he remained alight with two tones of light. One a soft silver glow from his chakra flow to his Reiken no Miichi enhanced blade. The other, a soft pulse of golden light, flowing in tandem with the red pulse of the eclipse.
If Himawari was paying any attention - and it was pretty obvious that she wasn't - she'd likely feel the blank stare aimed in her direction by the youth above her. A couple blinks spaced out between one another expressed her extreme concern for the child, on a multitude of levels. What on earth has she been dealing with? Sango didn't want to go as far as to call the young ward crazy or anything, and decided to side with the child's frustration of being well... a child. "Um..." She couldn't bring herself to come up with anything to say as Himawari went on to mention something about feeding the peacocks. At the very least, Sango could help her calm the surrounding citizens, and figure out the reason behind her search for a circus performer.
The sound of hoofs caught her attention first, followed by the voice of its rider, a man with an obvious knightly aura about him. Her attention turned back to Himawari, her lips tightly pursed to refrain from chuckling in the presence of the new arrival. Punishment? Who is he, her babysitter?"So you're... grounded?" Sango's pursed lips curled into that of a playful smirk, while the light emanating off of the knight who was setting the nearby torches alight reminded her that now may not be the best time for jokes. "Anyways," Sango would say, clearing her throat and bounding from her perched position upon the rooftop, sticking the landing on the ground below in front of the two after a series of aerial flips. "I'm not here looking for trouble." For once. "I was just spending some time with the locals at the Inn before... this happened." Sango casually gestured toward the sky with her right hand, "When Ms. Himawari Yuki arrived, attempting to calm down the frantic citizens and locate a circus performer." The former of that statement wasn't entirely true, the little white lie was to hopefully alleviate any of the trouble the young ward may have currently found herself in. Sango couldn't fully relate to what it was like actually being a child, having that luxury taken from her so long ago, but she did know what it was like to be on a leash, for a lack of a better term.
The two events had nothing in common, but were suspicious and confusing nonetheless. Sango felt the child's intentions could be trusted to some degree, given her innocent nature. "Well, I'd say she succeeded in that regard. However, I think we have other issues on our hands, yes?" She'd glance back up at the sky, then return her attention to the knights before her. "Name's Sango, by the way." Her introduction was finished with an elegant bow.

Himawari heard hoofbeats but she figured that it would be one of the guards. The guards were more noticeable. Cizitens were calming down with the help of them as the lights were appearing across the cities. Business closing early save for the ones that needs to stay open such as the Inn. Hmm. Should she try her luck with the blacksmither?
It was then, she heard a familiar voice as she froze in place. Turning to see him, a bright shining smile as she laughs sheepishly. "But I am in the Coop- OH WAIT." She legit thought she was in the Cooper district. "OH NOOOOoooooo!" She exclaimed when she had realized that she was not in the Cooper district. At all. Had her search caused her to not pay attention to her location got her out this far? "I... I'm not Himawari!" Hima badly lied through her teeth. "I just happen to look like her! Ah. I can't lie." Hima admitted before giving him the puppy eyes, sky blues halfway filled with tears. "PLEASE DON'T TELL MASAHIRO! It was an accident!" She turned to face the stranger that asked if she was grounded. "And yes I'm gro- HOLD ON! DID YOU TALK TO ME!? OH WE ARE SO FRIENDS NOW!" She glomped the girl and pulled her into a hug. Pulling apart in less than a second, she grabbed her hands gently and hopped up and down a few times. "I'm so excited! It's wonderful to have friends! You are really pretty! And tall! I can't wait to grow up! Oooh purple looks good on you!"
Her new friend went on to explain that she's not looking for trouble as she was helping the locals along with herself and locating a circus performer. Hima blinked once. Twice. Thrice. "I wasn't helping the locals?" she started, confused. Being completely obvious that her friend was actually trying to help her not get in trouble, "They don't listen to me anymore. So I can't help them. But I am trying to find a circus performer!" She said with a smile, "Dad grounded me until I'm able to find a circus performer and become friends with him or her. But you know! If you are my friend and we stay friends, I don't care if I'm grounded! I'm happy to have a friend!" This girl was radiating with positivity and maybe even a bit of glow to her. Though she wasn't a Hikari, it was just her... personality. Warm and bright.
"Wait! Do you know a circus performer?! Who!? SHOW ME." Himawari was so excited. What were the odds!? She had found a friend and now maybe this new friend would show her where the circus performer was! Hima was a special one alright. "Sango! Oh, such a pretty name! I'm Himaw-Oh you already know." She mumbled, glaring sideways at Wulfram for ruining her introduction!

"Girls, I'm just here to gather supplies. I'm heading out of the Capital for a while, have business to attend to on behalf of the Emperor." The knight said as he addressed the last of the nearby lamps and pointed a couple of guards into nearby action.
"Hima, dear, I want you to be behaved while I am gone. I won't be here to cover for you behind Lord Hatake's back, and Lin-Yu is on a rampage. I don't want to come home to my favorite ray of sunshine, snuffed out under a pile of homework." The man chuckled, his voice rough as he patted her head and walked on past her, through the core of the Residential district and on towards the Canopies.
"Oh, and Sango, you take care of Himawari now. Wouldn't want to have any highwire accidents and miss your safety net, now would we?"
With his implied threat the behalf of his young ward, Wulfram turned to his horse and took its reins in hand, with one fluid motion flung himself over her and into the saddle. As he mounted, his eyes met the pair, before he struck the reins and began to trot away.
Sango was not expecting to be bombarded by the full brunt of Himawari's vibrant, infectious, and cheerful personality so suddenly. Looking as if she was going to cry only seconds ago, Sango first instinct was to come to her defense, only to be hugged and deemed a friend of the young ward. "O-oh my!" The girl was surprisingly strong for her size, the street performer allowing herself to be pulled into the child's embrace, patting her on the back gently with her right hand. Nervously chuckling, she looked over to the knight, half expecting a reaction disapproving of Hima's actions, but he seemed to be okay with it. Sango wondered how many friends the child actually had, since she - more than once, now - mentioned how little people actually paid attention to her. She made a resolution to herself to be the greatest friend the young ward could ask for. Were these the precious moments of innocence she missed as a child? Part of her felt bad for having to live what was lost to her vicariously through Hima's behavior; the other part wanted to do all she could to protect that.
"Ah, thank you! Purple is my favorite color, actually. Say, you're pretty too, y'know?" She'd smile at Hima, listening intently as the girl explained why finding a circus performer was so important. It was an interesting type of punishment, to say that least. I really hope the Emperor was joking... Her attention turned the knight as he spoke. Sango could tell that he cares for little Himawari a lot, but the child already claimed the Emperor as her father. Oh, this must definitely be the babysitter. His threat didn't go unnoticed, and it actually caused a chuckle out of the girl, "Luckily for me, I like my audience on the edge of their seats!" Sticking her tongue out jokingly, a hand rested on Himawari's shoulders, a silent way of assuring the knight that she'd be well taken care of. It was also a way of signalling to Himawari that Sango was the circus performer she successfully found. As he began to trot away, her attention returned to the ward, "Who's that fellow? Seems very fond of his Hima dear... Sango teased, giving her best impersonation of Wulfram's voice. "And Lin-Yu?" The street performer asked curiously.

"Aw shucks! Thank you! That's really sweet of you!" Though part of her wondered if Sango was just saying that because she called her pretty first? Then Wulfram spoke up. Girls!? Oh! YAAAAAYY! Wulfram had approved Sango! Now she was definately her friend! Here's hoping she doesn't scare this one away! "Right-o!" Himawari jokingly saulted to Wulfram when he had mentioned that he was simply gathering supplies for the Emperor. After the salute, it was quickly followed by a pout as she puffed her cheeks and crossed her arms. "I always behave!" She protested, "It's just that I have rotten luck sometimes..." She murmured under her breath, unsure if Wulfram would've heard her or not. "Ew. That stinker!" She commented when he had brought up that horrid name to her, Lin-Yu. A real meanie! Air expelled from her pouty cheeks as she was now rather confused, "Highwire? Huh?" She questioned with a puzzled look now looking at Sango. "BBBBYYYEE WULLLFFRAAAAMM!" Himawari shouted, waving furiously as if she was going to wave any harder, surely her arm would fall off of it's socket.
"Come on! Let's go to the palace!" With a smile, she grabbed Sango's hand. "We need to find Tousan! I made a friend! Shame you aren't a circus performer... no matter! Infinity grounding is worth having a friend!" Hima said and then her face quickly went from beaming to the most sour face ever. It was as if she tasted something horribly bitter or sour. Perhaps both. "Lin-Yu is a stinker. A meanie. A bully. An old coot who doesn't know what happiness means." But then she puffed up her chest bodly, "No matter! I'm not talking about him anymore! He's not gonna make me feel bad! No way! But yes, let's go to the palace! I can show you the peacocks! Though watch out for the white one, he can be a bit... mean." Himawari, without thinking, was rubbing her hand as if she was recalling something that had happened in the past. "Oh I'm sorry. I'm so rude. Should we go to your parents first and let them know you are having a sleep over and dinner with me?" Himawari, seems to not have friends before. She doesn't know what to do. Hell, she doesn't even know she's being incredibly bossy.
Already having a stranger go for a sleepover and dinner.

S A N G O - "KNIVES" - O S A D A
As Himawari and Wulfram exchanged their goodbyes, Sango couldn't help but smile. He may have not been her father, but he truly cared for her like one, and their relationship was certainly something Sango was growing to admire. It reminded her of her relationship with her closest friend, Sato, who was in a way, like a brother to her. It was the closest thing to family save for the group of nomadic entertainers who trained her.
Her thoughts were interrupted by Himawari grabbing her hand, insisting that they head to the palace to meet someone named Tousan. "O-oh? Okay, sure..." The Palace? Sango had never seen such a place before, and was wondering if she'd even be allowed inside. She had a feeling that the guards wouldn't take their young ward inviting strangers in so kindly. This Lin-Yu person that Himawari described was definitely someone that Sango would try her best to avoid. Wulfram mentioned that they were already in a terrible mood, with the capability of drowning poor Himawari in homework should she get into trouble. Judging by the absentminded rubbing of her hand she was doing at the mere mention of him, Sango began to wonder if homework was the only thing they were punishing her with. Either way, Sango was excited to be spending time with the young ward of the emperor, and getting to see the peacocks.
