The sounds of machinery whirr to life as MasaTek branded mechanisms pull from the depths of the mines. A cadre of workers moving in tandem with carts of raw minerals as they are slowly unearthed from a new vein. The foreman of the works called to his subordinates to adjust the loads as the machine halted for a brief moment.
Once the machine halted and all adjustments were made, the buzz returned and the minerals continued on to proper distribution and processing. The Foreman eyed the miscalculation in the tracks and made a note of it for posterity before returning to his desk whereupon he set his board and began tracking the notes and primaries.
"Initial Orders for Iron, Nickel, and the new Coal shaft found out past the Delta are being drawn for the Imperial Army's Smiths. Next shipment is going to Konoha." The Foreman repeated to one of his men as he traced a finger over the shipment codes.

As a massive force washed over the skies of the Land of Fire, the Watchtowers of Gurinbare-to and Konoha were able to trace the large displacement of chakra that crashed through the skies. Any lesser sensors may have been lost in the scrambling nature of the techniques that shrouded Arashigakure as it found a place to settle, but the Imperial defenses were primed for such a thing to prevent another travesty like the Kogarashi or UHV Assaults and caught their friendly traveling neighbors as they came for a long-winded visit.
A messenger was dispatched to alert the Emperor and the Master of the Guard.
The forges and mills of the Iron District churned, machinery screamed and gears rang out in unison. The dry-docks at the far edge of Gurinbarē-to amassed the initial phases of the prototype Castle-Class Battlecruiser, IFN Kongōshu. Fitted with a basic compliment, the cruiser is roughly sizable to a regional castle, with a fortified tower near the median. Along her core were facilities for sailors to rest and a proper armory. Five officers were selected among the top crew for the vessel, and a new Siege cannon was mounted to the top of her deck.
The Imperial Treasurer, Ashi, would make his way through to the Iron District under armed guard. Upon his hips hung a series of keys, including the keys to the newly sanctioned and restored Treasury Vault. Ashi with practiced hands turned the key to the vault and the guards pulled the large doors open for the dignitary.
After the vault was cleared of debris and secured, the first deposit into the Treasury was made.
