Strangely, out of the three, she was a rather agreeable infant, so her parents would tell her. ▬ Since the Tora siblings begin weapons training at the age of eight, Haruko would remember since she was first brought into the Tora's apartment that Yukiko would always look tired and being told it was just from training with father downstairs when the tea shop was closed. ▬ Like her siblings, her mother taught them their ABC's and sounds and the magic of reading. Being a rather quietly introverted little girl, she had always be found in a corner reading or enjoying being read to. They would spend much time with their parents before starting school. She would be blessed with a little sister the year before she would start school. ▬ Once school started, she would be a very studious and quiet student, though her teachers would find her by herself a lot, she was never causing trouble. An enjoyable student; instead of the hellion like her older sister. Of course, she would rush home wanting to see her baby sister. ▬ As they grew up and Haruko found joy in protecting their little sister, she would find that their little sister had the same spirit as their eldest siblings but the love of a good story, as was pleasingly observant when Haru would sit by the crib and read to her little sister; much like their mother would for them. ▬ By the age of eight, she would be training with Ichirou and Yukiko; finding it preferable to use long-ranged weapons rather than melee or hand-to-hand. A year later (at age 9) the family would be gifted with another daughter; an orange tiger! That she would grow to love in time. ▬ Growing up, she would feel that she was the more mature and reserved of her siblings, making it hard to really connect with some. Though she was responsible and therefore looked to to be the one to look after the younger sisters with Ichirou whom she would usually play chess with until he too went off to Beacon like Yukiko. ▬ When she just turned 12, the family would be blessed with their sixth child. A quiet birth that had scared everyone, she was relieved to see it was a healthy baby girl. This one, she had felt was different somehow. Not sure why, but she did, and just this once she felt...Maybe she wasn't alone. ▬ It was while reading to her youngest sibling, Fuyuko, that the desire to bring the world to life for her to see came to her; and ultimately brought her semblance to activate. The years passed and she could not help but feel a closeness and special affection for her youngest sister who was inquisitive and energetic, but also shared a passion for reading and stories that very much matched her own. She would also begin her move towards the school of Beacon at the age of 15; keeping with the Tora tradition, she would be the fifth Tora, but the third sibling, to go. ▬ While she was at Beacon, she would be thrown into the position of Leader for Team HEMP (consisting of Haruko, Coal Edwin, Mary Marcus, and Petunia Periwinkle). Her semblance she used to read to be a distraction while her team were the attackers more-so than herself. They were doing so well in school, especially with Haru as a tutor and keeping them on track scholarly. It would become a part-time hobby in school. ▬ Though her time at Beacon would be short-lived as at the end of her Freshman year (almost 17-years-old), during their third mission, while she was reading her energy was fading. Growing weak, she was attacked by one of the beowolves with a strike to the chest, knocking her out. Haruko would also dictate to Ichirou about the rebuilding of their home on their property and the building of a garden to bury their parents' ashes in; she thought they would like that and that the little ones would want somewhere to honor mother and father. ▬ Though she seemed of levelheaded calm, inside she was breaking. This she would talk to with her doctor; now the daughter she grew so close to, Dr. Dracaena Lenz. ▬ Those events two years ago (she is now 20) had been tough, and keeping up the appearance of health still is not easy for her. She and Yukiko had taken up the responsibilities of maternal teachings for their younger siblings. Due to being paper, what is created is usually lightweight and able to float. When creating something that requires ammo, she uses aura for said ammo. Being made from the certain number of pages, it only lasts for a certain amount of time before she would need to rest and the creation returns to being pages. As her semblance begins to grow, she is able to summon/create more than one item. █*LEVEL 0 ▬ At level 0, she is able to summon/create 1 object/animal/weapon of her choice up to the size of a pumpkin, about the size of a cat, or no bigger than a sword. Still running the bookshop with great success, she misses her little sister (Tsuki) but, as long as the tigress gets to see Miya on the weekends, Haru's alright. Her sickness has not gotten any worse (but, it hasn't gotten any better either) with Dr. Lenz's assistance. She's still been able to keep it a secret from her family, but she has noticed (when Ryker's come to visit) that she gets discreet looks of concern. Upon facing him, she would make him promise to keep it quiet...at least until she could get the courage to tell her family herself (not yet though). ▬ She would take care of Moriko's and Fuyuko's rearing along with Ichirou, until Yukiko got back from her mission. It would cause her much joy to learn of her older sister's development, though it would be a lie to say she did not dream of the same thing someday...Maybe it might be time to look into settling down...someday.
